3nity7: I don't agree with you. So after the first half, 2nd half, first 25 minutes Argentina didn't know Spain will not be clinical? They were outplayed Simple. You don't have to agree. Spain may have outplayed them statistically, but that dominance didn't really translate into the scoreline. In football, the result is what matters most, whether you like it or not. The game could easily have gone the other way. If any of those late chances had found the back of the net, Spain would likely have ended up in a penalty shootout—and given their poor record in shootouts, I'd say they would've had only about a 30% chance of winning. It was a clear one-sided yet very close match. |

Spain deserves to win. Argentina misjudged them. Argentina's attack in the last 5 minutes of the extra time with ten men showed their whole defensive game was a tactic which was a poor choice of strategy. If Argentina knew Spain wouldn't be very clinical, they would've gone all out to attack from the beginning. |

Soludo is something else Anambra is about the only southeast state without any plans for it's own power generation, which it needs more than any other south east state.
Guess what is more important to Soludo? Chasing pastors and native doctors, and wasting scares resources on a second airport project, when the new one is barley completed and underutilized. Of course he has to assuage his lowlife clannish cravings of having an airport in his zone.
Indeed, character is more important than certificate. |

There should be no need responding to an allegation that has no substance. The name of the alleged person who rejected him on ethnic grounds is key to the credibility of the allegation. You know you were rejected because you were Igbo, you know the person who rejected you was Igbo but somehow forgot his name- in less than ten years.

Well, it's not just like any other profession, as you suggested. Women who work in the care sector are often considered highly desirable for marriage, for obvious reasons. Female nurses, doctors, and teachers generally fall into this category. The knowledge, empathy, patience, and nurturing qualities associated with these professions align well with many of the qualities traditionally valued in a wife. Historically, most teachers and nurses in Igboland were men. However, over time, gender roles and relatively lower remuneration gradually led to men leaving these professions, with many being replaced by young women. In fact, there are cases of men who married women who were graduates in other fields and later sponsored them to train as nurses. This trend has little to do with pay and very little to do with traveling abroad, contrary to what some people claim. This is the reason. But then, this is not to suggest that all women in these professions are the same. As with every profession, there are both good and highly questionable characters among them. For instance, if the nurses allow the claim that 'nurses are promiscuous' to gain traction, you will see men gradually looking elsewhere, nurses will lose their value in the so called dating pool, and the profession COULD gradually lose numbers. |

Relax. US bought Alaska from Russia, bought Louisiana from France and wants to buy Greenland from Denmark. That will be the next step. Once complete economic and cultural dominance of Lagos is established by southeasterners, purchasing it would be easier and cheaper by a future Igbo state. Trust us. The offer will be irresistible. |

DomPerignon: And no State or Federal court can rule on a constitutional matter.
Only the Supreme court can rule otherwise.
This ruling is only applicable to Plateue state and can not stand for every other state in the federation.
The constituency only guarantees you freedom to roam and settle anywhere within the sovereign realm of Nigeria.
No supreme court ruling can make you that is by nature and Ibo man automatically a Yoruba man that you are not.
And since the same constitution has listed all the over 360 tribes in Nigeria as distinct people and the national boundary commission empowered by same constitution has delineated provinces, states and regions where these indigenous people call their fatherland within the boundaries of Nigeria, same Supreme court can not and will not grant you abilities to change your identity and state of origin.
The same constitution empowers local govts to issue birth certificates.
What stops Local govts from granting you that certificates ?
Same constitution also empowers states to enact laws as long as they are not contravening the fundamental rights of citizens of Nigeria enshrined in same document .
You have a right to roam free but you have no ability under the heavens to make yourself what you are not.
You can claim Lagos as your birth place but that will not see any authority within Lagos grant you indigeneship.
Shameless thing. no court can rule on constitutional matter? you go rant tire. What then do the courts do? |
Politics › Re: The Jos North Judgment Is A Win For Inclusion — Lagos And The Rest Of Nigeria! by Armaggedon: 6:24pm On Jun 18 |
DomPerignon: Thats the headache of Plateue state indigenes that did not do the needful by passing laws recognizing and differentiating between indigenes and settlers.
As per us in the SS this ruling can not change or affect the existing laws recognizing indigeneship by the state which is further gazetted by the issuance of certificate of indigeneship to only those whose ancestry and tribe are natural to the state. no state has the power to enact laws that fundamentally alters the provision of the constitution. Stop being delusional. |
Politics › Re: The Jos North Judgment Is A Win For Inclusion — Lagos And The Rest Of Nigeria! by Armaggedon: 4:01pm On Jun 18 |
DomPerignon: Attaché, that's a State High court decision and only binding to Plateue state .
What this ruling can only spur on is respective states in the SW and SS passing laws through their respective House of Assembly defining and recognizing indegeneship rights.
It's a judgement that will only see to states enacting laws to define indigene supremacy. it must surely be appealed and if it gets upheld by the supreme court, it becomes a landmark ruling, altering the constitution on indigenship rights and the entire political landscape. |

madridguy: Chukwuebuka or Amarachi belongs to the East, If you like spend 1000 years in Lagos, you don't belong to Lagos.
I am from Iragbiji, Osun state and I will never claim Lagos State or any other state except Osun state. it's just a matter of time with this judgement. It'll belong to Lagos. There are already plenty Onyinye George, Chika sawyer who are Lagos indigenes. By the time the generation of FFK's children and ifeanyi adefarasin's will become adults, the cultural demography would have balanced out. It's just a matter of time. The unity in diversity and multiculturalism the country advocated for after 1970 is succeeding. |
