Has anyone who did biometrics in Ikeja on 21st November gotten an update?
I did biometrics on 21st November with my dependent, I paid for priority and got my visa within 5 working days however my husband’s own has been in DMC since then and no update.
I was hoping the priority I paid would apply to him but i guess it didn’t.
Please who has gotten an update for biometrics done on 21st Nov in Ikeja (standard)?

My sister-in-law’s dependents was refused as a result of that, No NSF, just outright refusal

Hello

Incorrect, there will always be an NSF before refusal.
The ECO will not outrightly deny a Dependant visa. They will request for the statement with specific dates that matches the MA and Dependant's application

In most cases the people that recycled funds will not be able to provide that statement and will CHOP their refusal quickly

In this case it is better to wait and not confuse the ECO with documents not relevant to the dependant for now unless requested for, then they can provide it.

For an MA that has been here for months, I am not expecting a full statement for POF, there should be more invoices to show he has used funds for his maintenances.

Most people that had a refusal for recycling funds never ever say the full story. The ECO has guidance documents to work with

Assisted service costs N12,300. There’s really no advantage attached to it, the only thing is that TLS staff will upload your documents for you.Please ensure all the documents which you are taking to the TLS center are in A4 format

I am the MA and I have gotten my Visa with my Passport, But my dependents are yet to get theirs and this is the 3rd week after decision. They have gotten their BRP mail.

I am really scared cuz I saw a complaint by one guy here who waited for 4 months.

I have done a paid mail and escalated. Is there anyone else that has experienced such delay. 3 weeks after decision yet passport is yet to be moved to VAC

It’s still in DMC, we made a paid call 2 days ago and they said decision has been made but there’s no progress in tracker nor collection mail…what about you? You said you had same issue..Any update?

Your wife should apply using the name on her international passport which I assume is her maiden name, she doesn’t necessarily have to bear your surname to prove you both are married

As regards to this, please when is considered your Visa application date? Is it the date you submitted and paid your visa fees or your biometrics appointment date? I am asking because I paid my visa fees on 14th Nov and my POF was still within the range but as from 16th NOV my POF fell below as a result of the fluctuations and I am to attend my biometrics on 21st NOV (assisted service). I paid an additional fee towards my tuition on 15th Nov which was updated on my CAS on 16th Nov so calculating with the current remaining tuition balance and living expenses, the amount on my POF is still enough. The POF conversion rate used is when you apply for your visa not CAS

How about a situation where a student gives birth to a baby while on post study visa, can she apply for the baby to be her dependent? Or what are the options available in this case?

I just got a conditional offer to Teeside University, i was asked to pay a tuition deposit of £4000.
