no bro for Information Engineering, 31st is cut off date for international students who have certificates outside of Germany, other students are still applying until July 15, that's the final end of application period. So they ll respond one week after the application period

I guess that one is for all other courses. I applied Information Engineering and the application deadline for that course was 31st of May.

Guten Tag. Please who knows how long it takes HAW Hamburg to process students' admission and to come up with a list? The message on my dashboard hasn't changed ever since they acknowledged receiving my documents It states that "Your application has been saved and is currently being processed by the registrar.
The admissions process will take place after the application deadline. At the end of the admissions process, you will be able to download your notification of acceptance or rejection here."

Gone are the days when Eke and friends ruled here. They gave their all. You could see yourself in Germany seeing the way they tackle every issue. Germany i am pretty sure is very challenging which is why we seldom see them here plus the fact they have crossed over.(God bless them). When you see the number of ppl going to the embassy daily for interview, you will be amazed yet when you ask a question abt what it was like, they would 'jump and pass'. Mine will come soon and you can be sure i will post everything here. You guys can look up for @kunlelikeme's post. U are gonna get some useful tips on how to go abt it. Jah bless. bsc, well.. applied for more than one tho, but the main course na information and communication engineering /information engineering... i see say we many already, na to also add some side courses , make man cook rice and indomie the same time

The Interview questions are quite general...
Whether MSc or BSc,..you expect things like why German, why this program, how is it structured, who is your sponsor, what's the relationship, you have somebody in Germany, etc.
So, you have to update yourself on Germany, the city you are going to, the School, your program etc.#AreasOfConcentration

If dem give you written or oral test, e no go pass Waec/100L questions.

Yea ppl apply more for Masters but for ppl like us who have no other option but BSc, what do we do? we sure need help from the ppl who have scaled through......Especially W16 applicants. Some have started going for interview already.

lol, see u, some people applying for masters apply for bsc the same time, and i dont think most people go through studienkolleg, i believe masters applicants are more, which is normal, as bsc schools are limited due to language and d embassy has it's new protocol.

Search no further. Those are the only schools and if u r looking for tuition free institutions, the Rhine waal is your best bet.. Reason is because tomorrow is the submission deadline for HAW Hamburg. If you check the school modules, its same as what you would see for computer engineering courses. If you must act, then act now as time isn't on your side any more. create an online application on uni assist's website. Luckily for you, you don't have to send them by courier to them as they only need to see the scanned copies. All the best sir.

My problem now is according to my findings there are only about 5 schools that offers bsc computer science in english or it relative,
1 Communication and information engineering,bsc rhine-waal university of aplied science
2 information engineering bsc-hamburg university of applied science
3 bsc computer science-st jacob university bremem(NOT TUITION FREE)
4computer science cts university of applied science ulm

But the problem is that I want applied for bsc computer science english and only ulm offers computer science in english,please guyz I have gone through the whole of daad and even filtered my search but only this schools came out that offer computer science or it relative,can any body assist me to list schools that can offer cs ,please guyz,this is not spoon feeding I don check daad tire

They would normally not send you a mail to say they have gotten your documents. You just have to be patient enough to wait for the message to change on their website. I think it took about 9 days before mine changed.
Sorry the response is coming late. started an intensive german lessons. Planning to get at least an A1 before travelling. Bless you!

Es kommt darauf an. If you're looking to buy new gadgets, they're cheaper in Nigeria, especially as you will almost inevitably convert every euro you spend to naira initially (doing this for too long will give you a psychological breakdown )...

However, used gadgets are cheaper and (depending on where you look) cleaner here than naija.

Last bullet: Don't buy a blackberry

Chill a while. It would still change. Mine was that way for some time too before it changed. I sent them the softcopy which was sent to my email. I am yet to get the one that that they must have be sent to the address i filled in during registeration.

to those who applied to HAW Hamburg, are we meant to send the online-printed VPD sent to our e-mail addresses or the ones sent to our physical or residential addresses. I sent the online-printed VPD alongside other documents which got delivered a week ago and till this moment, this is the message I get on my applicant's portal:

Your application cannot be considered as the following documents have not been provided.
These can be forwarded before the application deadline.

- Recognized English language certificate (BULATS (65), IELTS (minimum Band 6), Pearson (PTE General level 3, PTE Academic 59), TELC B2-C1 or a copy of German "Abitur" or "Fachhochschulreife" at least 6 years English language education with min. 8 points or an at least one year or successful finished English language study as certified true copies (certified by a notary public) if you are not citizen from a majority english speaking country.
- recognition of your international school/ university certificates from Uni Assist (preliminary review documentation = Vorprüfungsdokumentation)

Anyone who has their e-mail address should kindly send it, I can't find it on their website.

if it's for bsc, meaning uni-assist gave u a VPD, u don't need to send ur transcript anymore. Plus HAW Hamburg can access all docs that was evaluated to produce the VPD on uni-assist portal. This is assuming it's the VPD thing.

Please my people, I also applied to Hamburg university of applied sciences and application would be closing by 31st of this month. I sent certified copies of all my documents to them and they have started processing applicants documents to determine who gets admitted. I want to know please, is it also necessary i send them transcript from my school or will they be able to get relevant info from uni assist? Una thank you.

I have applied to university of hamburg and i sent my documents to uni assist with which they used for evaluation. Now, even if i am not to send certified documents again, what happens to the online aplication form i printed out after my application to rhine waal through uni assist? Thank you

Are you sure Rhinewal said this? May be you should check it again. What they actually said on their website is, you will apply through uni assist and you don't have to send any certified hard copy to Rhinewal not to uniassist. If you have never apply to any school.before under uni assist, then you will have to send your certified hard copy together with the duly signed confirmation page of that school from uniassist. Shalom

But you guys know that you have to print out the online application form too? do you have to send that without the certified documents?

What I mean is this. If you have applied to any school through uni-assist before even if it is not rhinewal within a year, once you have sent just one hard copy to them, it is enough for any other schools you want to apply to through uni-assist. For example, if I want to apply to school A,B,C,D and rhinewal this winter semester, once I have sent a certified hard copy to uniassist for school A, I don't have to send another certified hard copy to uni-assist again for school B, C,D and rhinewal even in the next summer and winter semester. Are you talking about this scenario I have painted above or otherwise?
