The road from Lokoja to Kabba was constructed solely by Dangote Cement. Infact the road was constructed with concrete cement from Kabba to Obajana and Asphalted from Obajana to Lokoja Junction. Any frequent road users will remember the condition of this road to Kabba in years past.
Now, the road has been an alternative route to many travellers from the South thus made many road users to escape the incessant kidnapping and armed robberies corple with bad road on Okene route.
My take is this, it's more of political and why the action now ?
If Dangote had contributed immensely to Yahaya Bello's presidential ambition or supported him in one way or another, this action would not have been taken place.

The deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria, Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, made some eyebrow-raising remarks earlier this month.
