ElSudani: I will ensure my children marry Yoruba, anyone who doesn't like it can jump into the lagoon. What is wrong with people these days? Did anyone make a fuss about Davido claiming to have Ibo blood? You are speaking from both sides of the mouth. All these fuss is because of Davido claiming to have Igbo blood. That's exactly what triggered all these nonsense. Ask the woman why Davido's ancestry and marriage should bother her and the so called whatever group? If someone as educated as these lecturer should have this kind of mentality, I wonder how people out there in the streets would think and act. We Africans are seriously in need of God's intervention. |

Mariangeles: How much would that cost you kwanu? Isn't the amount "prosperity" enough on Its own? My dear, it's almost the same everywhere. If you choose to stay in Nigeria, that’s a huge price on its own. If you are enterprising and hardworking but not rich or well-connected, living in a country that isn't functioning properly can be a dream killer. The Nigerian system sets you back for at least 10 years—if you are fortunate. That means you lose 10 years of your life simply by living in Nigeria, unless you are one of the highly connected and wealthy. My advice to people is this: if you ever plan on leaving, leave early—preferably before your 30s. |

flokii: U.K has been like that for a while now.. even the Whites are not finding it funny talk more of immigrants. The problem with Africans is crowd mentality.. oh because this person has gone abroad, I must go too. Ehnn you don go and your eyes don see am.
Oh Africa, blessed continent plagued with bad leaders and docile people.. where some people sleep outside overnight and still carry on fine the next day.. Go try am in UK or Canada and see if you'd live to tell the story.
Lastly, Government should do something about these education agents deceiving Nigerians about opportunities abroad, most Nigerian youths are now stranded because of false assurances from these agents.
If you must work in Nigeria, get a Nigerian degree.. If you go U.K, then don't come back to look for work in Nigeria. Stay there and stay jobless if you don't get job. As simple as that. That's the only way that Education in Nigeria and Africa will improve and have more worth. Living is a risk. But you cannot compare Nigeria with the UK. If you went to the UK legitimately, with the right mindset, your chances of prospering out there outweigh that of Nigeria 10X. |

Depriest2020: Few years to come, all these bushes will become new cities. My only concern is that our government lacks planing culture for cities. They would allow people to buy up those lands and build whatever, however they deem fit. Why and how would the bushes become new cities in our generation? I said our generation, because most bushes, if Jesus tarries will become developed due to population explosion. The bushes around Benin/Lagos expressway have not turned to new cities, so why would this one? |

Oyibo would have used these block heads to do rituals for money if human rituals for money works. If you believe that angels and demons exist, then money ritual is also possible. If you believe in the supernatural, then money ritual is possible. The rituals may not rain down money from the spirit world, but it may give you the power to attract "money". People that think they are modern and woke do not know that the are mere puppets in the hand of their puppeteers. |

ORI YE YE O!!
Omo, na Yoruba preserve black african culture pass. Asides Yoruba, I cant easily think of any ethnic west african group. Most are now jew and arab reprogrammed slaves with no recourse to dignity and originality.
What a shame! Very funny....so demon worship is African culture? Maybe that's why Africa is still in darkness in many ways. Let me tell you, there's only one true God. People of all races and times have been searching for this God. Some ended up creating things to represent the gods of their imagination. In these last days, the one and only true God has revealed himself to the world through His son, Jesus Christ. In the time of ignorance, the world , including Africans worshipped idols. Fortunately the West abandoned their idols and embraced Christianity (Jesus Christ). But someone and some people in Africa are insisting on remaining in darkness, all in the name of culture. Why serve gods that do nothing but kept you perpetual darkness? Look the way Africa is today. Are you happy about it? |

Ever since Peter Obi declared his candidacy, we haven't rested on here, even those of us that didn't vote President Tinubu. There's nothing like Igbo Obidients. Obidients are people from various parts of the nation that voted PO. People that disgruntled with the establishment that have kept Nigeria they it is. Ndigbos and others perceived to be Ndigbos were targeted in Lagos. Every day, when I come online, I read and see verbal attacks against Igbos. These verbal attacks have the potential to degenerate into something more sinister and physical if left unchecked. People like you pretend not to notice those attacks for whatever reason. StillDtruth: That is because you are living in a place where you do not need cohabitation.
If you were abroad and you needed to share a room with a man, you are already cohabiting with him even though you are not dating.
So, you are just saying that because you were near your lawful authorities who have a right to sanction your marriage, you could dispense with cohabitation. Sorry to say this ,you don't know what we are talking about here. Cohabitation in this context is not about sharing an apartment... it's living as married couples, with all that's involved in it. They still see us as suppliers of raw materials and consumers of their finished products. The chinese are more protectionist than the west. They are in Africa to rip us out...They are here to get raw materials at cut throat rate and ship back to their country. Mention one African country where the presence of China has led to increased development and quality of life for the people. Most of those nations that China built one critical infrastructure or the other are heavily indebted to China. And some of them have mortgage their countries natural resources to secure those loans from China. I would rather have the west than China. At least you can hold western companies accountable for their actions. You can even sue them in their home countries and win. Can you try that with Chinese companies? |
