Days later we lost resoundingly by (1-4) to the same country we will be facing come Saturday; Denmark. I pray thunder does not strike twice. angry undecided

The question here is, where did PDP got the
2 trillion naira it is claiming to have disbursed for the
campaigns?, oh yes, an amount that is enough to foot
half the bill of our National budget. Little wonder the
entire systemic collapse witnessed under the PDP
government due to massive bleeding of state
resources and corruption by top government officials
and lest we remember, even the world bank had
stated that more than 85% of corruption in
government circles is done within the presidency. It is
therefore pertinent that after the May,29th handing
over we shall urgently have to kickstart a bring back
our money campaign,(BBOM), already the queen of
corruption and profligacy, Diezani, we learnt has
refunded a substantial part of the $20 billion which
her sticky fingers etched from NNPC with the secured
protection of President Jonathan.

If you listen to Alfred Rewane on channels few weeks back, he was asked if the incoming government would be able to weather the storm considering the 50% drop in international oil price. He was quick to express is optimism which he based on 2 things; 1. the anti corruption will of the Buhari government and 2. that we had since 2010,been actually running the economy at $45 per barrel of crude which gives a breathing space of $15 - $18 dollar excess if we are to go by the current international price of $60 -$63 (I.e . So one can only imagine what happened to the extra funds as a result of a difference of $65 per barrel ($110 - $45) going by the what prevailed between 2010 and 2014. I cannot but agree with Buhari when he said that never again would the NNPC be allowed to run two accounts; one for the public and another for private pockets.

I'd rather you worry more about the harsh economic downturn that'll hit the SW and North, and start planting your cocoa and groundnut. 'Cos after May 29th, oil and Gas production will end for Nigeria.
Mark my word

What percentage of your oil and gas constitutes the monthly purse of Lagos State for example? more or less 25%! If your oil & gas drys up as things stands today, only one state that presently contribute over 20% to the federal purse shall remain standing; Lagos SW ; the 6th largest economy in subsaharan Africa. So you can go and drink your oil and sniff your gas.

Amaechi will go down as the greatest disgrace from the southern part of Nigeria.

Even after spending funds meant to develop rivers people on bankrolling and campaining for a presidential candidate at the expense of his people. ...... He is still bent on setting the state on fire before heading to Abuja to assume his cabinet role under Buhari

Is it not clear to him that Rivers people are averse to APC?

Is it not clear enough that APC is unpopular in the south south and south east?

What point is Amaechi trying to make by causing violence and killing Rivers people for a role he is not assuming himself?

After Wike is sworn in, and the probe begins and we figure out how much Amaechi spent on Buhari's campaign at the expense of Rivers people, then shall prosecute him adequately

And hopefully, Buhari who should be fighting corruption at that time cannot afford to have such criminal with stolen funds charges hanging around his neck within his cabinet.

Amaechi's case shall be a true test of Buhari's fight against corruption.

When this momemtary sense of victory has finished massaging your ego of having won over the APC in Rivers in less than 2 week from now , the reality will dawn on you and slowly so over the next 4 years you will begin experience the consequences of your decision. 2015-2019, with wike as governor, we go see how far.

Indeed, If only they knew what tsunami of economic downturn is about to hit the state, they would think twice before making such impulsive decision. Should Wike win, Rivers state becomes an opposition party and a state that the national PDP would rely on ( along with most likely Aqua IBom) to foot a large chunk of their party's expenditure if they are to contend( by any stretch of imagination) with the ruling party(APC). Now combine this with an unrefined and cow boyish maladministrative tendencies of WIKE and his corrupt cohorts. The Rivers people are in for it this time! So unfortunate!
