See me see trouble o! I made a huge amount of money in December 2021, so in January 2022
i thought of saving the money in a place that will give me interest by December 2022. I planned to use the interest to flex or maybe even go on vacation sef. Someone recommended a platform (I will not mention their name yet) to me on this app that I should lock my money there, that I will get high interest that I can use to run some other stuff when I collect my money. What this person didn't tell me was that once I lock the money I won't be able to access it on a “due date”.

Fast forward to last week, my laptop crashed and I needed to get a replacement. I didn’t have enough money in my bank so I just thought to break my savings at least na my money and i really needed the laptop to continue my job. That was how I was told I cannot remove the money until when the thing unlocks itself. I WAN RUN MAD!!
Guys i want to know the next step to take, please o, i really need to remove my money to buy this laptop. I know I made a mistake by not reading Terms and Conditions, but I just felt like saving money should be flexible and stress-free.

Is this how all savings platforms are? Can’t a man just save money and get it back once they need it.

Which other savings apps with good interest and zero stress can I use in the future?

Lagos state government needs to be more clear about this. They should at least make a publication showing the exact types of bikes banned and the ones allowed rather than making vague and sweeping statements.

I own and ride a private scooter. If police holds me on the road, how will I start to explain to them how it is not part of the banned vehicles when there is no clear definition of what Okada really is.

What the manager told is the truth, there is nothing she can do in this instance. Only the account owner can give an instruction for the deposit to be reversed and it must go straight to the direct depositor which is Fairmoney in this instance.

This situation is does not concern Fairmoney therefore you should not expect then to carry it on their head like Gala, they asked you to submit your bank account and you did so it's not their problem if you sent a wrong one.

The issue I have with them is disbursing a loan into a bank account bearing a different name form the name of the loan beneficiary (But this is a topic for another day)

Since you say the account is dormant and the number attached to it is not reachable it can mean one of two things

a) The account owner is deceased

b) The account owner is currently out of the country (this is more desirable)


Your next step is to ask your insider to get you the address attached to the account so you can try and trace it. Another alternative is to use the email and the name of the account holder to search on Facebook and other social media sites to see if you can find the owner.

if you have a family member working in a bank,he can retract the deposit for you with only that account number,even if na your enemy that works in a bank go and beg and narrate the situation to him/her just the account number mistakenly deposited to and your money is back

Why you are making it look like it was their fault in the first place is really worrisome. I mean, you sent them an account number which with mistakes in it yourself and they sent the money to it so what exactly are they guilty off

Your argument will be they should have used your BVN to crosscheck the account before crediting it right but what if the account also has a near similar name as yours?

In all na you fuckup big time and if they can't reverse the money you will be held responsible for it which in all sincerity you are.

Buying a car is not a problem, What you should consider is, Do you really need a car at this point ? Are you a type that go out often ? Do you have enough to maintain the car and keep it in good condition ? Will the car be a liability to you at some point ?, If not, you're good to GO


About the Police Labelling you as a Yahoo boy, that one is their normal thing because they're frustrated in that useless police system, they think no young guy can achieve great things legitimately, So it doesn't concern you, that shouldn't make you not to buy your car, buy your car after considering the above questions and avoid night life, partying and some kind of places...
