rman: Until Spectranet and other operators spreads their tentacles everywhere like MTN they will continue to play catch up.

If subscriber base is judge based on cities alone, I am certain MTN will not be first in places like Lagos, Abuja and PH. Smartly they are the only network you are like going to see competing everywhere including very rural area and this is what is responsible for the massive advantage.

Did you notice how Etisalat has closed down on Airtel and GLO even when the other operator have a 7yrs head start?
I agree with you but expansion takes time. I honestly think spectranet means business. And it is just a matter of time.

I am a very tough person to do business with and when I vouch for something business wise, it must be very good.

Spectranet has done all the ground work and should the owners really have the financial muscle, MTN will be in trouble.

Spectranet is the closest to western service you can get. Superb customer support ( they even have live chat ), good pricing and a speed that even MTN will be proud of. Second to none.

Shameful that Iheancho is not getting a looked at. He should definitely be at least a fringe player for the national team.

Fabregas, Hazard, Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Casillas and a host of others were given a chance at tender ages, why not Iheancho?

This is another proof to what I have been saying on this forum, Keshi is doing everything to win whatever he can win with his team not giving a hoot to building for thee future.

People like Ambrose should have been systematically and gradually phrased out of the Eagles. People like Tiago Ilori should have been by now given a chance.

We need a good creative midfielder and Iheancho can definitely be a very good central attacking midfielder for us but off course, Mikel is untouchable.

Disgusting.

Blaqsmith: as u think for Ekiti,so shall it be for u!
He was not praying neither was he swearing at Ekiti. He is stating the obvious fact that those who are not blinded by sentiment, those who are modern, those who do not believe in anarchy know and accept for a fact.

timilehing: and what will that judgement be?? Shut your mouth when you know nothing about matters!!
You want him to shut his mouth I thought everyone should be entitled to their opinion?

I am not surprised you want someone to shut up, your boss won't allow the judge who is seen fit enough hence given the job to do what he is been paid to do.

Ekiti ma gba, Ekiti go take, Ekiti go collect. I am so happy for you people and feel sorry for those who wanted a positive change who can't have it. They will have to share from the "spoil" for the next 4 years.

A comment from someone who has nothing to say.

Pay back the intellectual bank or have you been fully declared intellectually bankrupt? That won't surprise me should it be the case, we all ( not only me ) saw it coming.
Phones › Re: Glo Back As Nigeria's Second Largest Operator –NCC by arsetalks(m): 6:37am On Sep 23, 2014
They should remove 1 subscriber from glo's figures please. I bought their sim within that period and dumped it within same period due to poor network.

Etisalat is by miles the most underrated in this country. Cheap rates, good coverage and superb internet.

With the likes of Spectranet now available for data, matter of time before MTN loses a abig chunk of their 34m data subscriber base.

Spectranet is the baba for data. 50 GB for 14500 with 4G LTE speed has ensured I no longer pay almost 12k to DSTV just to watch football over the weekend, I can now steam matches and other events I want with no additional cost.

phemmy88: Ayo Fayose is a good man ...loved by many...especially the youths and government workers. its very clear that the judge is taking sides .....and the youth will not allow that. This has nothing to do with Fayose's personality or his political party.
Very clear he is taking sides? He went to school to learn his job and if he is not competent to do the job, he won't be put there.

A good man allows justice take its course and if he is not happy, he goes to the appeal court to appeal the judgment.

I am not surprised he is all of a sudden a good man, the memory of the rice collected hasn't dried off simply because the baton of power hasn't landed in Fayose's hand.

No worry, just be patient. All of una tone go soon change. Matter of time.

That to me is nonsense. The court should judge and if they not happy, they should head to the higher courts to appeal. They are only disrupting proceedings as thuggery is embedded in anything Fayose related.

Ekiti go hear am for 4 years. Personally, I pray Fayose successfully bribe his way through, that way those who do not want change will have to BEG for change which they won't have for 4 years. They should enjoy their rice if it hasn't finished.

Highly expected of any Fayose fan. I know him and his elder brother ( Femi) who used to live in Akute Berger area enough to say truly APC and the whole of Ekiti is in trouble. He and his brother are thuggery redefined.

It will be esawonpa, egewonpa and all those PAs like you have rightly said but it is not my business, Ekiti people can't cope with change hence they want status quo maintained, theyy should endure it for 4 years maybe, just maybe then they will learn.

Pathetic thug that man and his family.

People whose tithe and offering is used in establishing these schools have been priced out and he is defending it? The church has gone crazy obviously.

Now on topic, I also agree the lad should be called to the national team. Mikel has show he has nothing more to offer us. We need a creative outlet in the Super Eagles and in the 2 nation cups qualifier matches played so far and the 4 world cup matches, Mikel has shown he is past it.

No real creativity in his game except those silly over the top long passes ( as if we are Stoke City ) that 90% of the time to get to their target. Iheancho is a good player and he is very versatile. He can be our own Lionel Messi in that he can play as a false 9 ( which Messi is adept at ) and on the wing or behind the striker or in the hole ( what we Arsenal fan call the Ozil role ).

However, the lad joining City may ruin his career. City will never give him the chance he deserves, not even in the league cup matches nor the FA cup matches and if they do, it is only a matter of time before they sign another big name who will further reduce Iheancho's chances.

His parents' ( something most Africa parents are guilty of ) has done him a big injustice by forcing him to go to Manchester City and I blame his agent as well. Football agents are suppose to act in the best interest of their clients but it is obvious whoever his agent is, is more interested in his 20% than the success of the lad - the fooly is that he would have made money more in the long run if the lad had been allowed to join Porto or Arsenal who would have given him his chances to shine.

Lily4star: Ronaldo de lima was part of the USA 94 Brazil team at age 18, though didn't play and at 20 he was already a World Player of the year winner(FIFA Ballon o dor), youngest player ever to achieve that fit, Euro 2004, CR7 was 19 playing for Portugal, though made his debut as an 18yr old,Messi, Michael Owen, Samuel Eto o, Rooney, and many more made their first appearance at Senior level at a very young age, even if they don't get much playing time at the beginning, it does a lot to their exposure, morale and confidence.

Currently, Nacho is Naija's brightest talent. Keshi give the young Man a slot in the team. I really hope to see him play in the Nations cup come 2015, should the SE qualify, you might get to be shocked with the contribution he would give to that Eagles team.

#my humble opinion#.
