We were told Boko haram never ceased any towns, instead they "attacked" those towns.

I pray he result comes out negative. However, the PRO should be questioned for denying it if he is aware of the truth. I agree there is no point creating panic but neither is it good lying and thereby putting the life of others in danger.
Politics › Re: GEJ Says The #bringbackgoodluck2015 Banners Should Be Brought Down by arsetalks(m): 11:25am On Sep 10, 2014
To make front page, the thread most be praising GEJ. Surprising that the initial thread that led to the call from the president didn't make the first page but this did sharply.

Goes to show how much money these operators make while providing us rubbish service. I adore the patience of those still on MTN network. Dropped my MTN line last month after 6 years of patience.
Nairaland General › Re: 6 Things You Do That Annoy A Policeman on "Stop And Search" by arsetalks(m):
Good read. However how about this?

I was coming from inside a UBA bank. A man stopped me branding his police ID card to my face wanting to know where I am coming from ( he saw me coming from inside a bank).

Me - I am coming from UBA.

Police - what did you go to do in a bank?

Me - I went to buy beans, you can go and buy some if you need.

Police - you are bla bla bla. Follow me to the station.

Me - why should you ask me what I went to do in a bank, do I look like a kid to you? Why should I go to the station with you, am I under arrest or what?

Police - you are under arrest.

Me - where is your arrest warrant or do you just pick anyone coming from the bank to arrest?

Police - I will slap you if you talk again?

Me - Slap me and show me how much of a coward you are and be ready for a bigger slap.

The idiiot thought I was a Yahoo boy as it is obvious he saw me collecting Western union.

Na so we drag am till the iidiot took me to the police station, even answered my call after forcefully taking my phone and managed to make my now late fiancee scared before the DPO who I happen to know asked him to leave me.

If people are rude to them, it is because a good number of them are clue.less about their own job. How is going to a bank or collecting western union a bad thing?
Politics › Re: Chibok: ‘it’s Very Easy To Criticize Jonathan Without All The Details’ – Fashola by arsetalks(m): 6:52am On Sep 10, 2014
Darejyde: Gov. Fashola. Tinks before he says things, even though his from the opposition his criticisms are constructive... HoW I wish APC would alow ppl like him fly their presidential flag rather than those northern bunch...

Anyway Let me keep wishing
Fashola loves this nation. It is very obvious. However, why do you think anyone from the north can't rule? I thought rulership should be for the best leader and not "from my region"?

Our problem is not PDP, neither is it the north or APC, our problem in this nation is the youth who has bought into regional sentimentality of our fathers who are mostly ( harsh truth) bigots and chauvinists.
Politics › Re: Chibok: ‘it’s Very Easy To Criticize Jonathan Without All The Details’ – Fashola by arsetalks(m): 6:47am On Sep 10, 2014
udemzyudex: You're big joke bro, you always reason with your anus. Sometimes i wonder if you're still a kid or just posting all this trash you post here for fun.

I know you don't know me,anyway i'm just trying to let you know that someone out there is observing you.
How about you defending the things he pointed out? Do you know what a forum is? A place for discussion/gentle arguments and not a place for abuses?

You called someone a kid whereas what you have successfully done is to show us on this forum how much of an uncultured child you are.

Pot and kettle comes to mind.
Politics › Re: Chibok: ‘it’s Very Easy To Criticize Jonathan Without All The Details’ – Fashola by arsetalks(m): 6:44am On Sep 10, 2014
ChiefJusticeFuk: And you think it is that easy?

You should go and prepare for your Islamic caliphate
Poor defense as usual from GEJ fans.
Politics › Re: Chibok: ‘it’s Very Easy To Criticize Jonathan Without All The Details’ – Fashola by arsetalks(m): 6:39am On Sep 10, 2014
goodgood2: You're a member of APCshit. You obviously know more than the President.

Meanwhile, FTC. I'll feel highly honoured if this is pushed to front page.
He may be a member of APC but he has shown so far to be sincere and to have the love of this nation at heart unlike some of you whose love lies with a party or anyone who is from your region.

Call me any name ( as most of you with regional sentimentality are quick to) but the fact remains most of you blindly supporting GEJ and see no bad in him are doing so simply because he is from your region.

Hence you are quick to criticise the opposition even when a kid knows what the opposition is saying is fact.

Now I seat back expecting the name calling.
Politics › Re: Chibok: ‘it’s Very Easy To Criticize Jonathan Without All The Details’ – Fashola by arsetalks(m): 6:33am On Sep 10, 2014
Fashola is right and I agree with him but I find it veryy hypocritical of nairaland that the same Fashola gave a speech that questioned the president a while back with a lot of sensible questions asked but the thread never made the front page even though the half hearted rebutal from the presidency was quickly pusheed to the front page.

Can we not be fair on this forum? I thought it was a Nigeria forum not a forum for certain parties or people?

Makes me appreciate what the Lagos state government and the FG has done. GEJ has made a lot of "mistakes" and I still think we are better off without him but to be fair, his administration has been superb so far with the way it handled the Ebola out break.

gboss4sure: If tinibu or Buhari is arrested tomorrow, you will be the first to land here and accuse GEJ of clamping down on opposition. As for the boko haram sponsors the will all end up in jail and they knows it, thats why they are running around to make sure the current Government is not returned.
Prejudice. And you don't even know me.
Politics › Re: Stop Killing Boko Haram Members – Buhari Tells FG by arsetalks(m): 7:04pm On Sep 07, 2014
I don't agree one bit. They killed and should also be killed. Thee bastards have no agenda whatsoever. If GEJ was not so indecisive, these bastards would have been wiped out long ago.

If Cameroun can do it, Nigeria can do better - if there is will power.

Afroconnect: A traitor like u deserves to be shot in the face, along with the other ungrateful idiots here.
Go ahead and do it. What a shame what you have turned to. People in the area told your mom how much of an idioot she was bringing up but she won't listen as she knew no other way since she also was poorly brought up.

I now regret not loaning your mom the money she needed to abort your pregnancy then. You are now disgracing not only yourself but as well as your family and the greater danger is the kids that will come through you. Only GOD knows when your generation of w*nkers will finally be wiped out. My heart bleeds for your kind.

What a shame kid.

the disgusting thing is that you can't say this rubbish to my face. Shows how ill-mannered you are. I weep for your kids either born or unborn. When I think of people like you, legalising abortion makes sense to me.

Boss13: I understand our frustration on this issue. However, I feel there might be some iota of truth in his man's revelation. Boko haram is being funded by some people -fact. Who are those people? GEJ at some point claimed he knows the sponsor of Boko Haram yet nothing has been done to get these guys arrested and prosecuted. Thousand of lives are being wasted, yet these guys are protected. Solving Boko Haram is not rocket science - starve them from the funds and arms they receive, starve them from food and water, go into their camps and hunt these bastards down. Starving them of food might even solve 70 percent of the issue, the terrorist who joined for material gains will renegade and turn against each other. If the Nigerian army can do that to Biafrans and it worked, why not do the same to these terrorists.
You share my sentiment. Unfortunately the man in charge is either outright clue.less or doesn't care. He claimed he knows the sponsors of these bastards but hasn't nailed them. It is beyond ridiculous.

mkpakanaodogwu: he may have evidence, being a president is n not like being a monitor in primary school,or military president.Nigeria is a multi-Cultural,dif religions and ethnic group,u need strong evidence to prosecute
How many years does he need to gather the evidence together? He has been there for more than 4 years. Does he need 10 years?

karlmax2: once again the attempt of your so called progressive to divert attention from Their activities and link to boko haram has been punctured by the same man they went to town with as evidence. The Dss is in court with one of them and his passport was siezed but the opposition quickly made him an emir they would all be exposed.
An emir can not be prosecuted you say?

mkpakanaodogwu: if Gej should name Buhari,ATIKU,OR SANUSI will vou agree with him, wont the opposition cry out that he is witchhunting them
If he does with evidence. I can name anyone but if I want my case accepted, I will present evidences. He has all the people who can gather for him intelligence who will nail these people.

If Nigerians can do it, he can hire foreigners. No one stops him. If someone is ruining my government, I will go all out to nail them and shame them.

http://www.bellanaija.com/2014/09/05/fg-denies-hiring-stephen-davis-as-boko-haram-hostage-negotiator/
They had to wait this long and dismiss it when it suits them. Why that? It suited them and they keep quiet and now that it is working against them they are out to dismiss it. See, I don't care about any of the parties, all I care about is the peace of this nation as if there is peace I will have peace and my business will thrive and I will be able to fulfill my dreams without having to go to another man's country where someone who is not better than me will be given better treatment.
