PassingShot: Following a woeful performance of the type suffered by PDP in the last elections, not only the PDP chairman need to resign or get sacked, all the principal officers of the PDP need to give way for a new leadership. And all their nairaland e-warriors too. I expected them to fail but I am disappointed it was this much. I want APC at the centre but definitely not as the only party. I don't want a party monopoly for Nigeria but at this rate APC may become the only party unless APGA/SDP comes to our rescue. |

bettercreature: Either jonathan or no jonathan,he is the party chairman he suppose to resign and am sure that is how its done around the world,if you fail at something you just have to resign and let someone else to try it mind you he is (party chairman) jonathan is just a party candidate So technically he is the only one that failed? GEJ did not fail? So as the party chairman, he made all decisions all to himself and no one cried out? |

If Mau'zu is to be made to resign then GEJ too should be forced to divorce his wife. GEJ's wife did way more damage to PDP than any other person did.
Those clamouring for Mau'zu's resignation need to tell the whole world where they were when GEJ was allowing his wife make reckless statements unchecked? Where were they when GEJ appointed lousy mouthed Fani Kayode to head his campaign team?
Where were they when GEJ refused to probe the Ekiti incident and instead made Obanikoro a minister.
If people are to be resigning in PDP for the last epic failure ( everyone that's not deluded) saw it coming ), then there will be no PDP soon. Everyone of them f*cked up.
P:S : while at their resigning nonsense, they should make sure all nairaland PDP fans also resign. They did a lot of damage as well. Temitemi1 especially should be forced to delete is account. |

GEJ and not the party chairman lost PDP the election. Most people voted against GEJ and not the party chairman.
They gave GEJ too much freedom, the party ( mainly because they are one and the same) did not checkmate some of what he did in office.
GEJ refused to prosecute people like Alison and Maboro, PDP kept quite forgetting that such things can only lead to protest votes. The presidency and the party as a whole played "the victim" during the whole chibok girls issues instead of taking action, they forgot it will lead to anger and protest votes.
For me, remove the chairman all you want, the problem is the whole party's not the party chairman's alone.
I hope they learn their lesson and become formidable opposition. Nigeria needs them more than ever before to keep APC under checks. |

Very good interview. Each interview this man renders gives me hope.
He already have a plan which is key and he knows that even as the president he doesn't have the absolute power. This is also key to his success in government.
Just fix electricity, please. That is the main for us. Every other will auto fix themselves. Fix the electricity, there will be more money to be saved by our companies, more profit for companies will amount to more earning for people, more earning means there will be a middle class thereby reducing poverty. A reduction in poverty level will enhance our life span as a possible. It will also increase the number of SME which will lead to more jobs.
The effect of sorting the electricity finally is numerous. |

Where is Chinue Achebe, the best and highest selling Nigerian/African author. Where is Richard Ihetu, alias Dick Tiger? The first African to become undisputed world middleweight boxing champ twice. The people have shown through their votes that they don't give a damn about you or your Senate Presidential seat. How does a politician lobbying for his stomach mean anything? Billyonaire: I expected that the APC government will allow competence to overide nepotism. But now, it is clear that this government is NOT going to be different from the PDP government except worse than PDP. The Niger-Delta/Biafra Geopolitical zone has been totally marginalized in this 'unconstitutional' sharing of positions. We are NOT worried, we will continue to supply Nigeria with Crude Oil/Gas. But note that when the boys return to the creeks, your jet fighters will only add more harms to the pipelines. This will be worse than Boko Haram. This is NOT a threat, this is just the reality of what happens when a people are pushed to the wall. Do not take my word for it.
But what bothers me as a person, is why majority voted for Change, yet most of the positions go to career politicians formally from the PDP. Looking at the appointment, former PDP members get about 60% of the positions, yet we call this CHANGE ? I think Nigerians are being short-changed.
I do not envy the North. Power has been their birth-right, yet they are the poorest and most uneducated human species in Nigeria, their kids are manning gates for Igbos in Lagos and selling fruits by the gutters. In a country that power is shared based on zones and tribe and NOT competence, there is little hope of a better tomorrow from this Government.
I pity those who expected Change from a group of Bandits. As for me, we are back to the 1980s. You didn't read the article did you? If you did, you first line ( which is the only part I bothered with), won't have been necessary. |

chukwudi44: Bros it is no longer in your hands. Unless Buhari dies on the seat,he would rule for eight years. Do not think that everyone is like GEJ who would not rig elections. Besides the south would never unite again, so pushing him out even in a free and fair elections would not be easy GEJ did not rig election abi kini? Okay then. If he did not rig then it shows he is such a pathetic leader. I mean, if he was not such a poor leader, he would not have lost 12m supporters in 4 years. If you know a bit of maths, you will know he lost 12m supporters. |

All this noise, accusation and counter accusation would never have been necessary if GEJ had performed.
PDP would have saved a lot of money they spent on campaign if he had performed. People would have freely campaigned for GEJ without the need to give them money to mobilised them.
Instead of PDP to point the accessing fingers to GEJ, they are busy witch hunting people. To think I was hoping they will become a strong opposition to put APC under constant check. |
