The Nigerian custom has repeatedly told Nigerians that imported or smuggled rice are not fit for human consumption. This they did with much effort all to give reasons why locally produced rice should be patronized. While it's okay to consume Nigerian produced rice, it is very wrong to start telling Nigerians that the very rice you condemned and called poison and seized some months ago has suddenly became fit for human consumption many months later. I just hope the rice will not kill many who will eat them and we begin to claim it's Corona virus or mysterious death like we are having in Kano state.

#Poverty will drastically reduce if the following are done.

1. Change our mindset
2. Increase Minimum Wage.
3.Cut down public officers' salaries and allowances.
4. Gain 21st Century skills.
5. Provision of well paying jobs
6. Smart solutions for electricity and Water problem
7. Stop being greedy, selfish and self-centered.
8. Minding one's business

What other ways can we reduce poverty for ourselves and others? Any suggestions?

This possible where the different ethnicity share the same vision. As it stands now if we want to make up our minds on every point you raised it will be destroyed by the different vision we carry- the vision of our respective ethnicity. And I say Nigeria does not have a vision as a country but the different nation within the country have.
