The fact that he mentioned his dog in the glaring context of the numbers of people killed means this guy is a joker, he mentioned the name of his dog and it even topped his list of those killed before he mentioned the human casualities...Jack the dog was mentioned and not one single name of the dead was made known.. Jack seems to be the true hero here |

It's funny and totally absurd how the Nigeria Police Force or in succinct terms your office comes up with press statements about the need for us to exert out rights, "search them before they search you" lol, I giggled and almost rolled on the floor, you are in the wrong profession Oga Sir, the stern reality is that you best fit the role of a comedian than heading a force riddled with shortcomings and corruption. It's quite evident how ignorant you are of the situation Oga, perhaps a cruel encounter of a relative with your men, I almost forgot they are just gonna call you but you know what the harm might have been done already even before he or she makes that golden call. It's a gory world out there all thanks to the men of the Nigeria Police Force, it's strange and perplexing that those assigned to protect and serve us are just blooming robbers in the making. There is nothing like mild extortion with the men in symbolic black it's always an wholesome one, every kobo of every naira is vacuumed of your account and you dare not try to play smart, most Nigerians now withdraw over the counter and shun carrying their Atm cards around hence you get robbed by armed "SARS". The NPF is set to churn out new recruits into the " Nigeria market" and instead of a gust of relief we are tainted with apprehension and fear, most of us do not have relatives in the Nigeria police force or other high ranking places and that makes it hard for us to move freely because your men or those you speak for have imposed a curfew on the streets by placing roadblocks, roaming in unmarked cars and such, "another day another customer they say". |

There was a cluster of fright and anticipation in my voice as I told the Security Man I had an interview slated for 1:00 pm, I hurriedly tucked in my shirt while paying careful attention not to ruffle the crease on it. My contact person for the interview was in a meeting so I had to wait, my heart won't stop racing and every semblance of composure I hitherto had seemed unhinged. She ushered me in and made a gesture for me to sit, she had this homely smile and that even made me more nervous, my quavering feet won't stop throbbing, I eased my breath and heaved a sigh short of a relief. She asked for my CV which I scuffled for in my bag, she glanced through and to my utter dismay I had given her two exact copies of an introductory brief of my CV with no concluding part, she handed a copy back and I replaced it with the right copy. She called my name and told me, stay calm, gather your thoughts and maintain eye contact, I am going to give you some time to relax, the air conditioning calmed my frayed nerves and the rippling moisture on my face cooled off. Her words were, I am human and just another employee, see me as such and you are gonna be all right, she was quite unlike the "mean persona" I had thought of. Next time I might not be lucky. |

Good roads are quite evasive and amusingly elusive in this part of West Africa called Nigeria, they've become rather rare infrastructures to come by and when you do come across them it's an antiquated stretch from colonial times. The seemingly stale roads we have are soul craving ones thus causing a carnage unmatched by the Nigeria civil war. Have seen roads with potholes as deep as the trenches of hell, while some are as steep as the crevices of the Grand Canyon. Agbado area which lies between Lagos and Ogun strikes a chord when it comes to grave and gory roads. The roads are a sight to behold, government presence is missing thus negating the development of this awesome and virile municipality. I was told that the road is always at its best in the dry season but I do not see any good there is to the road, the dust spiralling from the gorges were enough to create a sandstorm. My first visit to Adiyan was to see a friend, I had on a white T-shirt and a slightly faded blue jeans. Had I known I would have wore something quite submissive to dust and dirt, within minutes my white T-shirt took on a new aura, it became brown, there and then I knew I was in for it. Cars in the Adiyan and Agbado axis have amphibious appendages, vehicles are now modified to take on the rivers and marshes we call roads, you should see the Volkswagen buses better known as "danfos", the way they toil and strain just to wade through copious amount of water, they have seeming oars to paddle their way through this much water and you can hear the engines huffing and puffing. It is mind bogging and heart wrenching when you consider the monetary renderings for roads and its execution, when you place that in contrast with what we have then you are bound to wail and dole out curses at the handlers and their numerous cohorts who are saddled with giving us good roads. Also of notable mention is the rate at which Olympic sized pools are sprouting up in the middle of our roads, with a swimming trunk and eye googles you are good for a plunge, saddening enough we don't have medals at the olympic for swimming, an irony of some sort so to say since we have pools at every turn. The first step to ridding the summary carnage on our roads is consistency on the path of our rather inconsistent government, more attention should be paid to roads. Monitoring teams should be set up at motor parks to curtail the intake of alcohol by drivers, questionnaires and toll free numbers should be readily available. Contractors should be screened while also having a track record that is unassailable. Bidding process for contracts should be fair and open, no corners or bypassing laid down process because when such happens we get substandard roads. I just dey talk my own, wasting pen on paper....

Not sure what their underlying motives are but the need to create and recreate such wrinkling motives seems to be an an overwhelming one for the lot who are in one way or the other set to malign the scheme. For those who care to know there is absolutely nothing wrong with the system, weeding out participants with rippling account is a good move for its survival. Sit back read through and grab the logic behind it all, GHW is healthy, the rivalry from other ponzi scheme is of great concern cz they set out to smear it... And please be sure to avoid post with cranked up headlines and utterly faulty headlines cz they are all out to gain attention and once u give em then u are giving dem enuf leg space to wriggle and do as they want... Sit back relax and enjoy the system.... |
