Our attention have been drawn towards the incompetency of the commissioner for environment, Mr *Funsho*Esan* who has failed the entire state in every capacity... Mr governor sir, despite the wealthy educational attainment you have, ranking from day one to becoming a senior advocate of Nigeria(SAN),it is so sardonic and unethical to find people uncapable handling the affairs of important agency wish deals directly with the lives of human, such as the Ministry of Environment. The ministry who should be in charge of environmental hazards has failed us repeatedly. The Flood which occurred due to poor drainage and blockage of drainage lanes occurred and have caused the loss of a final year student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko,wish her remains have not been seen till now. The flood took over the whole of Medoline and Cele area of Akungba, properties are also destroyed and also in her counterpart institution in Okitipupa, Ondo State University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa (OSUSTECH), flood have taken over the road totally where hundreds of Students' and tens of hundreds users have to cross over with the use of canoes, making it an avenue for water borne diseases to spread like wild fire. Also in OSUSTECH Mini Campus, Idepe; Students in faculty of agriculture couldn't take their lessons and tests due to the over pour of the shouldering river bordering the annex at the back. If the situation isn't taken care of immediately, it could lead to further loss of lives and properties of the *both the citizen and Ondo State Government (ODSG)* . This and other areas of the state have been an eyesore to the image of the Sunshine State. *The Hon.
