Former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief Philip Omeiza Salau has reacted to the recently published interview granted to Daily Trust newspaper by His Royal Majesty, Alhaji, Dr Ado Ibrahim, the Ohinoyi of Ebira land. In his reaction through a press release, the former deputy Governor highlighted some issues relating to mode of succession/ascension of Ohinoyi stool in Ebira land which according to him, has been clearly addressed and resolved during his first tenure as debuty Governor in 2003. He obviously disagreed to some points raised by Ado Ibrahim. Details later. |

I'm from the same area(Ebira) with Yahaya Bello. In fact, we are from the same Okene Local Government Area. Yahaya Bello is a disgrace to us all, Ebira people. No need for sentiment here but reality. We will certainly replace him by another Ebira man to redeem our image which Yahaya Bello has battered. I trust Tinubu. This is a payback time. Yahaya Bello is no match to Governor Ambode in governance yet the later was denied APC ticket for second term by Jagaban led forces because of political differences but Yahaya thought Tinubu could not dare him that is why Yahaya Bello had, in the past, shown that Tinubu is nobody to him. Now that the cabals in the presidency, Abba Kiyarris, Abubakar Malamis, El-Rufais etc are unable to save him, he suddenly realises that Tinubu is a factor in APC to recon with. Empty brain Governor. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Politics / Re: Presidency Offers To Give Atiku Phone Number Of Buhari by asidoiliyasu: 10:15pm On Feb 26, 2019 |
Calling the presumed winner of presidential election on phone to congratulate him while collation of results is still ongoing is not the only way to accept/concede defeat. It can also be done through press briefing and on verified social media accounts after the end of collation and a formal declaration by INEC. That Former president Goodluck Jonathan did that four years ago doesn't necessarily mean that is what everybody should do. 1 Like |
