Thank you very much.

Relative, yes?
Signature, the relative can handle it.
Stmt of result, not needed. It can be reprinted there if needed. Give her your exam centre and year.

Hi everyone,

Please can anyone give me an idea on how to get my WAEC verification sent to WES as I am already in Canada but need it to complete my CPA verification. Can I ask a relative to go to WAEC for me? How will I get my signature on the affidavit? I have been searching my documents but can't find my WAEC statement of result, how then do I get the photocopies to be sent? (The scanned copy I had was in my External hard Drive which was stolen from my travelling bag at the airport).
darlingdadon:

Good Morning House..

Kindly read through for those having worries on how to go about getting their WAEC results Verification as required by WES.

Thanks

BHstripes, Bode Thomas, Surulere, Lagos.

[My question is this: where in Lagos Nigeria can I get a professional photographer that will take a photo of me in the required specifications?

(I will indeed appreciate input about tested and trusted photographers; have you used a photographer and was able to obtain a PR Card using the print out they made for you?)

Thank you all. [/quote]

I would say that you should call Canada Revenue Agency (Individual tax enquiries @ 1-800-959-8281) and explain the situation to them the way you have explained here. Then they will tell you the correct thing to do...

Thank you.

If the HST cheque was issued based on the inaccurate filing you earlier did, then yes. Please return it along with your explanation letter.

Thank you very much.

Hi, write back (explanation letter) to the Tax Office you initially sent the application for child benefits to, explaining the use of wrong currency exchange rate in arriving at your equivalent income for the years you stated. Attach a new set of application forms you've filled out with correct income stated and send all with a copy of the previous form containing the wrong rates (for reference) and you will be fine. There may be a delay in processing your new application as they need to reconcile your position but it's better that you are getting it rectified once and for all.

Hello Sir, one last thing. I got the HST credit cheque in the mail yesterday, do I send it back with my explanation letter?

Hi everyone, please I need good advice.
While doing the initial application for child benefit, I made a mistake in the incomes for both 2016 and 2017 (converted using USD rate instead of CAD rate leading to an understatement ). When and how to I correct this?

You will need to send your transcripts to CPA Ontario. They will then tell you how to go about it.

It is not a waste of time at all. Abeg, just free her, don't spoil her mind, afterall it's only one year and it's not like she is paying.

Serious? Why so? I just feel going to school to spend a year is a waste of time. She could get a job in 2-3 months Toronto if she starts searching from day 1.

Hi Bsbabe, does this mean you did not do the G1 Knowledge test?

Bsbabe:

Not correct. I used this letter (from FRSC in Nigeria) in Ontario in April. Got me the G2 exit test for a G Licence.
Travel / Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by Asinkwa(f): 7:06pm On Jul 14, 2018
This is not correct. My husband's FRSC letter was accepted in Oakville, Ontario. Check Ontario's Ministry of Transportation handbook, it is there.

zengurl:
Do not bother yourself with the DL Authentication letter from FRSC, they will not accept it at drive test centers. The only acceptable form is a letter from the Nigerian Embassy in Ottawa. Well, I do not know of other provinces but I can speak about Ontario.

Anaxagoras, electric iron, blender and juice extractor were the appliances i cargoed. I advice you take A555's advice as my blender is not working optimally due to the voltage requirement.

I cargoed 275kg at N340,000 (total cost). It included clothing, household appliances, shoes and foodstuff. My cargo came in with Airfrance.
If you are in Lagos, you can go to NAHCO at International airport and get quotes from different agents. However, I was referred to the agent I used, and I can say that he 'get mouth'. On our way to drop the cargo off, policemen at the entrance said they wanted to inspect the things, we just called the agent, he spoke with the policemen and they let us go through immediately.
I am not sure if putting his number here is deemed advertising, so you can dm me for it.

I cargoed a lot of things, when I pick them up tomorrow, I will give you more details. I just wanted to let you know that someone has seen your requestion.

Akingsqueen:
I have another question as regards cargo to Canada. How is it done? About how much does it cost? Are they efficient? Are there any restrictions as to what can be sent through them? Can someone who used them give me contact of the ones he/she used.
Thanks in advance.

Why did you chook mouth na. The guy's ignorance was making the exchange interesting. It's like that irony in literature where the audience already knows a plot, but one of the characters is left in the dark grin

Guess my joke is lost cos most people on this thread are IT and accountants.

I felt sorry for him. The question he should have asked first is what he asked last. TheCongo2 did not even answer him.

That young man needs English if he's a Nigerian. You speak and write in English but your son can't speak it and you seem proud? Firstly sir, are you a Naija man or you 'ave become full Canadian with no Nigerian blood in you?

TheCongo2 is not a Nigerian. In his African home country, French is their lingua franca.

I advise you write the 4 ACCA papers here in Nigeria, then do the CPA conversion.
Converting to CPA from ICAN is almost as if you did not have the ICAN in the first place.
The only issue is the number of annual subcriptions you will have to start paying having ICAN, ACCA and CPA.

Talkingboy:
Good morning elders ,

Please those familiar with this ICAN/AcCA/CPA issue . Kindly help please .

For someone who has ICAN and pursuing express entry , is it advisable to write ACCA (4 professional level papers) in Nigeria or he should wait till he lands to write CPA and claim exemptions with his ICAN ? how many paper exemptions are we talking about here ?

Thank You
