vaxx2: Even if you follow a lay man approach, assuming you have been to both Accra and lagos. You will easily notice Ghana is more cosmopolitan than Nigeria. In GHANA, the Americans and the British and other westerners used the public transport , low housing unit, engage in buying food from the road side instead of the usual hotels or the eye glowing area you will find them in Nigeria. It is nearly impossible for you to see a westerners in Nigeria public transport.
I don't care about no Westerners lmao. Sad to see African countries still putting priorities of the west above there own. ...
samorobo: Vaxx I don't know about how much nigeria raked from tourism but it sure did raked alot compared to Ghana going by tylann post. I am sure you know that they are various forms of tourism e.g business tourism, leisure tourism, entertainment tourism. When you talk of business and entertainment tourism nigeria is there and it knows how to pull millions of people from all over the world.A perfect example would be calabar festival, lagos marathon, lagos boat regatta, lagos festival but when you talk of leisure ghana might be ahead but in standard of hotels nigeria is ahead. Let me even tell you that there is a 7 star hotel currently under construction in lagos which would be the first in africa. What matter is that at the end of the day we get this visitors and siphon their money
vaxx2: Stop celibrating mediocre. Even senegal is ahead of Nigeria
I will be posting a Wikipedia screenshot below and that of cbnc which stipulate Ghana revenue on tourism and ranking accordingly.
I want to know how much does Nigeria generate on tourism
As stated before "Nigeria does have many tourist spots and events that Nigerians themeselves mostly participate in. It's just they realized they have far more important sectors to develop rather than focusing on creating exclusive closed off paradises for Oyibos". In Nigeria they focus facilities built for the population not hotels for foreigners.
TayserMahri: I havent heard any news lately about drowning, have you? Googling "Nigerians drown in mediterranean" returns news from last year. Its reasonable to say they have learned. We had a deal they would stop drowning completely last year and they seem to have kept their word. With a good whip Nigerians would toe the line. Dont give up yet Blaze! Until they stop enmasse migration to your beautiful country you should always be lurking to set the record straight.
worry not about who is kumamoto than what kumamoto means
vaxx2: Fact. Morocco , Mauritius and Seychelles are the only country with about 70 to 80 percent infrastructure balance in africa not even south affrica.
Ghana is still trying and trying to meet up. All what we need are simply committed leaders who are ready to transform the country.
This is latest in Ghana ......
Of course those micro island countries got high infrastructure per capita there low populated and they don't got much land to develop.
vaxx2: but you know your picture aren't real. Stop showing us 3d imaging.
Only a fool will undervalued tourism. Spain is a success story.
Damn looks like your a fuck1ng M0R0N too.... It just keeps getting sadder and sadder. Every photo is real with the the zoo one being an ad from a broshure.
vaxx2: cote de voire and Senegal are doing just fine. But i will give it to Senegal.
NIGERIA has the potential to rake more income on tourism but the Goverment are not intereated. For example, my state osun state is a UNESCO heritage center. And some few others. The oil is so massive that the Goverment has decided to close eyes on other growth.
Peace is another factor. Nobody want to risk his or her life

rvp2018: [s] Samrobo, Kenya will be at South Africa current level in 10yrs - Nairobi by then will be Africa's Capital City (it already well under-way with most companies picking it her over Joburg).
Ten years ago - South Africa GDP was around 290B dollars - now at 2019 is projected to be around 370B.
Ten years ago - Kenya GDP was around 35B dollars - now at 2019 - it is projected to be 100B (3 times!! bigger).
We know Kenya's growth is broad-based, well diversified, has hit a sweatspot of 6% growth rate year on year and it about to reap demographic dividends - and unlike the oil or commodity dependant - like Nigeria or Angola - we can expect the momentum to be maintained. South Africa medium-term economic prognosis is very bad - 1-2% growth rate - for next few years.
So 10 yrs from now - Kenya GDP will probably 300B - South Africa will be around 450B - around 2019.
By around 2032 - Kenya and South Africa will probably be around 500B - if Kenya won't have overtaken RSA at that point.
Nigeria probably won't exist as country then - Oil will be on it's way out - and Nigeria would be busy in civil war. [/s]
chrisagyei: [s] the guy is an idiota. And they believe Ghana is all about Accra due to our Metropolitan system just like England and London. We have 5 metropolis cities and 10 regions.Accra is not even the biggest city in Ghana,it's not the most populous city,it has no harbor,it's not the commercial city and there's a whole metropolitan city in which is Tema with about 25 communities built purposely for industries with over half of thousands of them and more factories built yearly and has one of the busiest ports and harbor in Africa and is undergoing massive expansion and will soon be the largest and most busiest in West Africa after it's completion. It operates on a paperless computerized system and goods cleared maximum 48 hours alongside the first harbor in Ghana which is in Sekondi Takoradi metropolitan city known as the twin cities wand also oil and gas city with a massive port and harbor facility. In fact,Ghana is the most developed and progressive nation in West Africa that continues giving West Africa a good reputation since West Africa is identified as highly unsecure and a warzone crime infested region largely thanks to dragging and unprogressive countries which is Nigeria,Mali,Niger and others. [/s]
jaycent: Let me and you compare city to city like Abuja vs Accra, Lagos vs Kumasi, Enugu vs Takoradi, Ibadan vs Tima and see which country has the most beautiful cities
That's, if you even a city in your country. No hard feelings dude!
It's not a quarrel or fight. Let's just Compare both countries that's all?
I hope Ghana gets better as I do most of Africa but right now there a 1 district banana republic with with short sighted goals.
vaxx2: Now the attention and focus is changing..... i keep saying it. Everything is not about oil
This is what CNN have to say...
Because Ghanaians don't have much of there own interest and will be a lot easier to be influenced and controlled compared to Nigerians who are one of the few proud African groups who have far bigger dreams for themselves and choose to chart there own destiny becoming a great power in there own right rather than become a obedient banana republic for the west and other powers like MOST African countries unfortunately.
Last week in Nigeria there was a marvelous display of rich diverse culture as people of all types gather from every corner of Nigeria and the world to attend ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU's 67TH BIRTHDAY Party!
sufferNsmiling: That is how we nigerians are anything good and anybody telling the truth we do not want we will go and follow somebody which is lying to us for morning tonight. This thread is the best thing which has happened to this forum no matter how much the government wants to kill it. It will not die. 90% of nigerians do not want to hear the truth. They will rather food themselves. Here in europe nigerians are now suffering. On job for them anyway
vaxx2: Ghana will be the fastest-growing economy in the worldthis year, according to the International Monetary Fund. The lender’s growth forecast of 8.8 percent for the producer of cocoa, gold and oil dwarfs the 6.6 percent median in a Bloomberg survey. The IMF’s projection in its latest World Economic Outlook published Tuesday is “way too generous,”
chrisagyei: you sound funny and look stupid when you say that, you can't even control Boko haram militants, zamfara bandits,Fulani herdsmen killings,,Niger delta militants who seizes millions of your oil barrels and kidnap all your people including a whole fire service chief of Lagos.Nigeria is bad news. You can't even dictate to Benin republic who smuggle billions of dollars of illegal products into your useless country and. crippling your local farmers and producers, you can't even control war torn Niger and Chad who keep producing Boko haram militants and control your northern states and you say the second biggest economy in West Africa, the fastest growing economy in Africa, the most progressive and most developed country in Africa is under your smelly poverty shadow, perhaps you should know that you are the poverty capital of the world and you call this what
When you can't compete kick out the competition I guess.
