The staff of office of the Lagos monarch, Oba Rilwan Akilu, reportedly carted away by suspected hoodlums who invaded the place in the wake of the EndSARS protesters has been recovered.

Recall the staff of the office was taken away by one of the hoodlums as they destroyed the Iga Idungaran Palace of the Oba, turning the place upside down and carting away valuable things including money.

OBSERVERS TIMES earlier reported that the hoodlum who took away the staff was seen on camera displaying the insignia of office of the traditional ruler with relish.

Source said the Ogboni cult had retrieved the staff of office and the young man who took it away died mysteriously.

According to an unidentified man who gave his name as Agboola Kotun, the young man died mysteriously.

Yesterday night I was sleeping and so this call came in, the person sounded like my blood brother and claimed he was stranded at a nearby place, on receiving the call, I called my brother to be sure if he was truly the one but is line wasn't going through. The call keep coming and I was scared he was going to be in danger, so he sent a friend account account number and I made the transfer but this morning I only got to know my brother was safe at home and someone used his identity as a plain disguise. Please nairalanders, how can I get my money back from this thief, solution is what I need and not insult, right now I feel like comiting suicide coz that's the only money left on me.

That guy was not James Nwafor and I don't think we he was mistaken for James Nwafor, dem no even resemble.

I analysed the video yesterday and at the tail end of the video, one of the assailants said 'Ka-anyi ga police station' i.e 'let's go to the police station'. An indication that the video had nothing to do with with current #EndSARS revolution but an old video on a totally different issue.

I joined the endsars protest before it was hijacked. I warned my Yoruba brothers and sisters that hoodlums have taking over that we should disperse them, then we try to but they refer to us that mean well to protect the properties as sponsored THUGS and hoodlums attacking peaceful protesters.

Can u now see all the damages done in Yoruba lands including IPODS joining them.

There's no respect and Integrity again for Southwest. Can Edo people Burn Oba of Benin's palace? Can Igbo burn Obi of Onitsha's palace?
