The Biafra Nations Youth League, BNYL, has insisted that the South East will “not give block votes” to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar because he picked Peter Obi as his running mate.

BNYL through its National Leader, Princewill Chimezie Richard stated that the “Vice President slot given to the South East was to divide the Igbo and silence the Biafra agitators.”

In a statement issued and made available to Wiki 9ja, the BNYL leader said the selection of Obi was a plot to deceive the South East into helping to extend the “Fulani rule” over Nigeria.

Richard also stated that the “struggle for Biafra is beyond political position.”

The statement reads, “Politicians remains Politicians, Biafra Agitators remains Biafra agitators, it is not all about political offices, we are not fools that we should be fighting while Politicians will be taking advantage of our struggles to seek political offices.

“We don’t know Peter Obi in Biafra Movement and he is not influential in the South East or South South that our people will vote Atiku because he was appointed a running mate, it was a tactic to extend more northern rule,

“We are happy they are now waking up and understands the politics of the North against the East. We have been hearing clamours of Igbo Presidency 2023 and I feel the only way to make sure that doesn’t happen they have to present another Fulani so that by appointing an Igbo as his VP the tenure of the North will extend to another eight years and by then the South West will be preparing to take over.

“I think the Rivers State Governor was right when he said the APC is using some aspirants in PDP.”

Senator Godswill Akpabio has called for the resignation of Senate President, Bukola Saraki, PoliticsNGR has learned.

This development is coming shortly after both politicians clashed over sitting positions in the hallowed chambers earlier today. 

Addressing a Press Conference after Plenary on Wednesday, Akpabio advised Saraki to honorably resign as president of the Senate. He added that the Senate President should borrow a leaf from him as a former minority leader, saying he resigned the position when he defected from PDP to APC to allow the PDP elect a new minority leader.

“It’s a tradition all over the world that when you defected to another party even as a Senate President like Saraki did, to resign from the office of the Senate President. APC is still the majority party and they need to form a new leadership. The Senate President should honourably resign just like I did."

He also criticized the PDP for doing nothing in the South-South for 16 years;

"Having moved from PDP to APC, I felt fulfilled. My advice and suggestions in the national interest would not be looked upon with suspicion by the government in power again. I moved to APC in national interest. I don’t believe in bringing government into being and will not support that government to succeed.

In the last 16 years, I did not see 1 kilometre of road done by PDP government in Akwa Ibom state, but today, APC government is constructing the road from Akwa Ibom to Calabar.

The road has been a death trap and I must thank this government for that. From the national and local perspectives, people look at me as a leader and I must tell you that in 2019, it would be difficult for any other party to penetrate the South-South."

What are the implications?
As Atiku struggles to divide northern votes, west need to support Prof. Osibanjo. APC will give south east a serious attention during campaign which may eventually affect many PDP controlled States in the south east.
First time in the history of Nigeria, South South and middle belt will decide the outcome of the election.
Wrong calculation on the side of PDP:
Atiku Abubakar should have picked a running mate from the West, reasons being that there are more registered voters in the West than in the east. Secondly, south east and south south are known from history to be very good in deciding the outcome of elections through sympathy votes, protests and propaganda, but unfortunately, south south and middle belt will play the role of deciding the outcome of the election this time around, a role they are certainly not used to.
Critical issues:
There is no south western State that is controlled by PDP, therefore picking a running mate from the West to match Prof. Osibanjo could have been the best option for PDP.
Again, south east recorded low voters in the recently concluded voters registration.
Finally, governor Obiano will use this opportunity to teach Peter Obi a lesson he planned teaching him sometime in the past, the PDP arrangement presents the opportunity for Gov. Obiano.
Salient issue:
All South PDP Governors are avoiding Buhari and APC considering the outcome of Ekiti State election and Osun State election, therefore, Peter Obi as a running mate to Atiku is all about keeping David Umahi and Okezie Ikpeazu very restless and sleepless.
Continental assessment:
Gov. Wike will punish Atiku and PDP, and possibly loose his re-election as a governor.
Sen. Godswill Akpabio will be running riot in Akwa Ibom.
Amaechi will be on rampage in Rivers state.
Okorocha Rochas will be on consolidation.
Conclusion:
PDP will win the election on social media, especially on Facebook while APC will win the election right inside the ballot boxes, and then many lawyers will become millionaires through election tribunals.

We know the core support base for Atiku and OBi is the south East. What then would be their fate if the South East boycott the elections come 2019 because from previous experience, whenever IPOB gives a sit at home order to its people, they obey as much as 90% if not more.

His message is currently being circulated to all Biafrans to ensure that there would be 100% compliance on the day of elections.

This write-up is inspired by two individuals on ‘Nija’ Social Media.

The first poster, perhaps an imposter claiming to have a PhD suggested that Nigerians have tried someone with integrity and it has not worked (in his own estimation) and suggested it was time to try a thief. As a supporter of Atiku, he appears to be confirming that his candidate’s reputation is a well-deserved one.

The other poster took the matter further and suggested we actually vote for Evans. So I have decided to amplify that suggestion on Evans.

In the event you think this is a joke, perish that thought. There was a huge outcry on Nija Social Media a few months ago. Many wanted us to forgive Evans. As they said back then, “to forgive is divine”. And of course, Evans is not the only bad person in Nigeria. So if we can forgive Evans, if Al Mustapha & Atiku can contemplate running for Presidency in Nigeria, why not Evans? His rights are fully enshrined in the constitution and he will not be the first to run from detention in Nigeria.

It appears that the logic of Forgive Evans has been transferred to Atiku. Many have suggested that the love – in for Atiku is because many people are Anti Buhari. I will rather take a contrarian view and suggest that the Pro Atiku voices are loud because some of our compatriots are innately pre disposed towards thieves and spivs.

We love our looters as they are either our kinsmen, in – law or benefactors. We are forever indebted to them for the massive school they built in our locality which none of our children can afford to attend. We are forever obliged to them for that massive oil company they own that swindles Nigeria of over a $100m dollars annually. We love them because many of the fake prophets masquerading as ‘Men of God’ endorse them.

So now that we realize how much we love thieves, spivs and corrupt people, why don’t we go the whole hog? Why don’t we choose someone who is more ‘Atikulate’ in ‘spivery’ and thievery and corruption?

NIGERIANS. VOTE EVANS FOR PRESIDENT.

He has never been convicted of one single crime.

He has never been indicted by the Nigerian Senate or the USA Senate.

He is a successful businessman running multi million euros and dollars businesses and employing hundreds of people and patronizing other local businesses. He creates jobs. He creates wealth.

He is not tribalistic or nepotistic.

He has come from nowhere literally to build his business and provide a beautiful roof over his head.

He has never stolen one kobo of Nigeria’s money be it Federal Government, State Government or Local Government.

He is a devoted family man with only one wife.

He looks after his family very well, providing them shelter in overseas countries.

If not for this government that has poured “sand sand” in his ‘garri’, Evans will still be running his successful business now.

Like the Senate President recently impressed it upon Nigerians during his plane crash of a presidential campaign:

‘FOLLOW PERSON WEY SABI THIEF’

Don’t follow a man whose corruption records are all over the Internet and in the library of congress.

Don’t follow a man whose Party Spokesman has indicted him.

Don’t follow a man whose character has been severely trampled upon by the Ebora Owu himself. A whole Ebora who is now desperately forced to gulp his own vomit while pondering the imminence of the time when he will have to render an account for the USD16 billion he spent on darkness.

If Nigerians must vote a thief, please do it properly. Vote Evans, he won’t ‘thief’ government money. All Evans has to do is share dollars to all those clamouring for Atiku. He will be a sure banker.
