PoliticsRe: Nigerian Extra-judicial Killing: No Justice For El Zak-zaky by asksteve(m): 7:08pm On Sep 21, 2014
JonBee1: Just because I don't like the the personality and the ideology of El-Zak-zaky doesn't mean that I don't understand the difference between GOOD and EVIL; between the OPPRESSOR and the OPPRESSED and between RIGHT and WRONG.
El-Zak-zaky has been WRONGED and OPPRESSED. 3 sons and scores of followers assassinated by the men of Nigerian armed force extra-judicially. No official apology from the state, no report of finding from the investigations (that is, if it was ever investigated), no prosecution for the perpetrators.

No justices for the INNOCENT.
Nigerians have chosen to remain silent and nonplussed just out of sheer hatred and bigotry (i.e. Muslim vs Christian and Sunni vs. Shiite). So the man is on his own, nobody care, Not the Sultan of Sokoto, Not the Muslim leader, Not NSCIA, Not the civil right organization, Not the Amnesty int'l, Not CAN etc.) Everybody is okay with the atrocity since it is against El-Zak-zaky; until it happens to one of their interest tomorrow, then like the hypocrites they are they will scream blue murder to high heaven, as if it has never happen in the land before.
Yet these same men and institution kept silent when an antecedent was being set.

By this stance, it is a suspect that what the Govt. intends is to introduce an additional dimension to the Boko Haram terrorist saga.
My respect goes to El Zak-zaky and his organization for threading the path of restrain and keeping a cool head in the face of heart-wrenching grief, loss and certain provocations
If this is your faith and ideological philosophy, I pay reverence to it. and will like to learn about your belief system.
By the force of the universe victory will be obtained by the oppressed (at the ICC), If there's any justice in this world.
I wish fairness and justice to the better man, El Zak-Zaky
It's funny anyone can bring up dis issue for the following reasons:
1. While their fellow Nigerian brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, fathers and mothers were being bombed to death right under their nose without any protest or condemnation from dem they were protesting the killings in far away Syria by Isreal.
2. Even if u want to protest should it be along the road leading to a military facility especially at this critical time in the nations history.
3.. Do u expect to shoot at military personnel and expect dem to clap and applaud ur act cos they don't die abi?
Instead of trying to weep up sentiment with this thread pls lets focus on solving issues within our country instead of creating more.
To El Zak Zaky, I express my condolence to his family and families of other people killed in dat protest gone bad, but they should focus on Nigeria or is it dat those being killed in Nigeria are not there countrymen?

PoliticsRe: Why Does Jonathan Use Israeli Bodyguards? by asksteve(m): 4:52pm On Jul 29, 2014
RaptorX: Another mumu justifying oppression from their clueless leaders, no wonder you have the most horrible set of leaders on the planet.
Wise man that knows how democracy operates and knows what oppression, is, thank u, I pray u c oppression when next u try this kind of act.
PoliticsRe: Why Does Jonathan Use Israeli Bodyguards? by asksteve(m): 1:33pm On Jul 29, 2014
Op i pity u, jus cos u want to post this useless thread u put or life at risk, lucky u d person dat saw u only made u delete d pics, d phone would have.bin confiscated and u would have bin somewhere now telling dem what u no and don't no. And if I return home early it will be after some months.
To d issue I raised trace back history lane and check after the assassination of Gen. M. Mohammed which head of state didn't use Israeli or other foreign security personnels as bodyguards.
IBB and Abacha are most popular.
BusinessRe: Why Do Countries Actually Go Broke? by asksteve(m): 1:15pm On Jul 29, 2014
henrykelek: in Economics it is theoretically not plausible to just print money to buy what u need.
Idi amin tried it and collapsed Ugandan economy, Zimbabwe tried it and experienced the worst inflation ever. The simple idea is dat that economy will become very unstable. prices( inflation, exchange rates and interest rates) will come together to kill dat economy through certain mechanisms.
1. printing money carelessly will lead to hyper inflation, the real value of that same money u printed will be eroded( money illusion). producers in that economy will stop producing because it will be cheaper to import and uncertainty has come to play.
2 exchange rates will become volatile for dat economy, other countries will refuse to exchange their currency with yours because yours is somewhat useless, which will contract that economy in terms of international trade.
3. international sanctions, it is illegitimat to carelessy print money puting the international financial system at risk. IMF and WORLD BANK would impose serious sanctions on such an economy.
4. historical perspective: Zimbabwe notoriously did thid and where severely hit by its consequences now they use the US dollar and SA rand as official currency.
All wat u explained are for ideal situations, but in most cases especially in Africa, devaluation of currencies is due to corruption else how will u explain when former President OBJ, devalued the official exchange rate from about twenty one naira to about ninety five naira because according to him black marketers were making too much profit selling at that rate. Of which this singular action led to a double digit inflation rate.
BusinessRe: Why Do Countries Actually Go Broke? by asksteve(m): 1:02pm On Jul 29, 2014
Countries go broke simply because they are all built on lies, deceit, corruption, manipulated press and are ruled from behind the scene by money bags and godfathers.
If u c any country dat is not broke it is either they have few godfathers that have little regads for every oda citizen, else it will be business as usual, wit some few having fat bank accounts around d world and the country going bankrupt.
PoliticsRe: Situation Report: Power Supply In Your Area by asksteve(m): 7:06am On Jul 11, 2014
So people have not observed that after about a month of Improved power supply ur electricity bill goes up by 200 - 300% ie for those on estimated consumption, funny thing the rate of per kilowatt was increased nationwide but in our case in Ojo LGA in Lagos it's our consumption and what did they tell us when we went to their office, they said supply has improved of which that was in may, June was not comparable to may but fair still, but this July so far is nothing to write home about and it will never reflect on the bill. It only goes up but doesn't come down. I just want to ask how can they expect a single family not using electricity for any other thing than regular domestic use, without air conditioning unit and other heavy appliance to pay 8,000 naira monthly as electricity bill?
No wonder it's Herculaneum for them to allocate prepaid meters cos all these rubbish will end.
Pls let them make the prepaid available so we can pay for what we consume.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram: Clearly, America Does NOT Know! - Opinion by asksteve(m): 11:57am On Jul 02, 2014
Clueless No! America has always been the architect of crisis around the world, does it not surprise u how a country or people languishing in abject poverty can afford state of the art armunition that the central Govt. soilders cannot withstand their fire power. It has happened in Liberia, Sierra Lone, Still ongoing in Sudan just to mention a few. Looking at these countries they have something in common ie they have vast deposits of natural resources which include but are not limited to Crude Oil, Diamond, Gold, Uranium etc so the easiest way to take these resources for free is to create unrest so while the citizens kill each other they try as much as they can to empty the natural reserves.
I don't blame them cos they don't achieve this on their own, some selfish, greedy, get rich by any means necessary people that value wealth more than human life, who one way or the other find their way into leadership position by whatever means they deem fit will mortgage the entire country to them just for Visa and fat bank account at the end they in turn prey on the illiterate population and the tribal and religious divide they use in holding the country to ransom and what's the result "Terrorism".
If only we can protect Nigeria and hold her at high esteem like we once did way back, we won't be in this mess. Nigeria has lost her dignity cos people in positions of trust are very quick to mortgage her for peanut as such outsiders can trample on us as long as there's money to go around.
Short of the story is, if u r waiting for America that has problems both at home and all around the globe to come to ur aid, sorry to say but Nigeria will end up as Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya etc.
Presently they r in Chad, minding their business which has nothing to do with what we were originally told, in no time Chad will have its own share of the plague.
Nigerians should know this insurgency has nothing to do with Religion, Tribe or Region but rather its a card played by the architects knowing we will buy into it.
