My question for the nigerian goverment is doesnt the female child have the right to choose who she wants to marry, why is it okay for a man to sleep with 100 when and it is wrong for a woman to do so, whena girl gets pregnant @ the age of 13 when will she go to school, how would any parent give out a 6 year old child for marriage if it isnt porvety, our government dont know what they are doing, and it is really saddening, I am 100% sure Yerima will neva give out his child @ that age, I wont be surprised if it an act of ritual, May God forgive Yerima

alnaijiri: You are buying in Western propaganda too much. You should learn to think for yourself instead of spewing out prepackaged propaganda.

Western culture teaches us to be like animals: to posess material things, to lust after women, to get what we want no matter the suffering to others, etc. Islam teaches us to be human beings, that we should have compassion, and that we should live our mundane lives with God in the centre of our lives so that our whole life is a form of worship. It teaches the proper way to deal with others, and create a harmonious and hust society.

Go to your local mosque (sunni, not shia or other sects) to learn about the beauty of Islam for yourself. How can you debate about something that you have not personally experienced but relied on the sewage that is the media?
.
Islam teaches you all those things but is that what muslims practise, it is really funny that with all this blood shed people can still come out and justify it, I don't know what people mean when they say Islam is a religion of PEACE, how can u cut of a mans head, or in Nigeria here, kill hundreds of people but children and women, and still talk of compassion, love and peace. God doesn't support any form of killing whether the person is a sinner or not, God is the judge can we just leave him to judge instead of killing innocent people in his name, and please take note I am a muslim
FamilyRe: Women: What Was Your Contribution To Your Brideprice Situation? by asmaua: 6:52pm On May 18, 2013
Vikin: It depends on the tribe, in kalabari..the bride price is damn expensive. Very expensive that you can go to borrow from bank!

Some people try to escape it though but if the lady should die, even at old age, they have to bury her in her home town!

Got friends there
Yeah it is true dey have two types of traditional wedding the normal one which u are marrying just her body so when she dies her remains are return back to fathers house and the IYA which is very expensive where u marry both the flesh and bones in dis situation when she dies her husband buries her in his own place cos they have paid for both her flesh and borns

My mum is Kalabari
HealthRe: As & As Genotype Marriage by asmaua: 6:29pm On May 18, 2013
I don't think I will advice u to marry some1 dat is also AS, I have a very good friend who died recently, she was SS she got married and died after child birth. It is not like no one can marry the AS and SS pple but their best options should be AA people, my husband is AS and I am AA. Please like deardoc said prevention is better than cure
