PoliticsRe: The Federal High Court That Heard Bala Gombe's Case Is WRONG! - ADC Act NOW! by AsomughaChuks02: 12:18pm On Apr 08
franchasng:
I don't know why ADC Leadership are wasting time in calling out the Federal High Court that heard Nafiu Bala Gombe's case. ADC's focus should be on calling out Federal High Court to halt their hearing of Nafiu Bala Gombe's case based on the newly revised electoral act 2026 and also based on the Supreme Court Ruling on similar case last year 2025.

I will be providing a breakdown of why The Federal High Court is wrong on hearing Nafiu Bala Gombe's case and why they must throw the case out now!

SECTION 83 OF THE ELECTORAL ACT 2026
Section 83 of the Electoral Act 2026 stated clearly that no Nigerian court shall entertain suits relating to the internal affairs of political parties.

This Section went further to impose a sanction of 10 million naira against both counsel and litigants who bring such suits to court for hearing.

2025 SUPREME COURT RULING
Anyanwu v. Aniagwu & 3 Ors. (2025): The Supreme Court nullified the judgment of the Court of Appeal and the Federal High Court that had sacked Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The court held that the dispute over the national secretaryship was an internal party matter, not for the courts to decide.

Non-Interference Rule: The Supreme Court reiterated that it will not "micromanage" political parties, and that lower courts lack jurisdiction to delve into internal leadership changes, suspensions, or expulsions.

Party Supremacy: The court upheld the autonomy of political parties, encouraging them to resolve disputes through their established internal mechanisms.

Even if this were true, it puts ADC in a more precarious situation because INEC can choose to recognize any one of the ADC factions and there will be no legal remedy for those who disagree with INEC's position.
PoliticsRe: INEC Officials Allegedly Bribed To Remove ADC Leadership – Aisha Yesufu by AsomughaChuks02: 6:17pm On Apr 07
Normally, ADC looks like a copyright infringement of APC. I remember that INEC some years ago refused to register Chekwas Okorie's UPGA because it sounded familiar to the already existing APGA and it was determined that it would confuse voters.
PoliticsRe: TCN Begins Upgrade Of 138Km Alaoji–Onitsha Transmission Line by AsomughaChuks02: 3:26pm On Apr 07
This is good. All the evacuated power from Alaoji wheeled straight to Onitsha and distributed to other parts of Anambra state, the economic powerhouse of the east.
PoliticsRe: INEC Was Involved In Process That Produced David Mark – Ex-adc Chair Nwosu by AsomughaChuks02: 9:38am On Apr 03
I recall that this same Ralph Nwosu sold his slot as APGA governorship candidate to Peter Obi in 2003. Now he has sold away his chairmanship of ADC to David Mark. He has always seen politics as a means of making money through buying and selling.
PoliticsRe: Gov Bala Mohammed Finalises Move To Join ADC, Set Thursday For Official Declarat by AsomughaChuks02: 8:20pm On Mar 31
North taking over ADC with full force. Clearly Atiku will emerge ADC candidate. Peter Obi will be compensated with campaign DG.
PoliticsRe: Governor Abba, Ganduje present as 8 Kano Reps members dump NNPP, defect to APC by AsomughaChuks02: 6:54pm On Mar 31
Power of incumbency will push APC through in Kano state.
PoliticsRe: ADC Can Dethrone Tinubu With Only These Two Combination by AsomughaChuks02: 6:53pm On Mar 31
Atiku/Amaechi is already signed and sealed for ADC. Peter Obi will not be on the ballot.
PoliticsRe: Kwankwaso To Defect To ADC On Monday by AsomughaChuks02: 8:05am On Mar 29
From reliable source, ADC has already settled for Atiku/Amaechi ticket. Peter Obi will be offered campaign DG.
PoliticsRe: Governor Otti Rules Out Defection, Says Labour Party Crisis Resolved (video) by AsomughaChuks02: 10:13am On Mar 28
I wonder why obidients dodged this thread. It means that LP and ADC will fight each other and share votes in Abia while APC end up with the spoils.
PoliticsRe: Anioma State And The Geometry Of Power: Expansion Or Containment? by AsomughaChuks02: 10:10am On Mar 28
Anioma state is what Igbos want. Anim and/or Orlu states are satanic contraptions that all sane Igbos must continue to reject.
PoliticsRe: Goodluck Jonathan Really Tried For This Country And It's Citizens by AsomughaChuks02: 2:26pm On Mar 27
President Jonathan tried with cash flows but he was a naive politician with little experience in the game.
PoliticsRe: Atiku’ll Win ADC Primaries, Peter Obi, Amaechi, Others May Step Down - Umar Ardo by AsomughaChuks02: 2:24pm On Mar 27
I am just wondering the excuse that Peter Obi will give to his supporters on why he would degrade himself down to running mate of Atiku because that is where his ambition is tilting to.
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi, Govs Diri, Eno In Abia As Otti Organizes State Burial For Uma Ukpai by AsomughaChuks02: 10:53am On Mar 27
The late Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai was from where? Abia or Akwa-Ibom? The two states seem to be dragging him as their own.
PoliticsRe: Work Ongoing At Okpanam Axis Of The Second Niger Bridge Access Road by AsomughaChuks02: 6:28pm On Mar 26
Massive construction work is also ongoing at the Anambra section with flyovers and an interchange coming up. President Bola Tinubu is doing well for the south east, let's tell ourselves the truth Ndi Igbo.
PoliticsRe: 2027: It Will Be Immoral, Improper For PDP To Endorse Tinubu – Turaki Faction by AsomughaChuks02: 2:05pm On Mar 26
Barrister Nyesom Wike is in charge of PDP now. He will do whatever he pleases with the party. Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has already surrendered to his leadership. Those who don't like it will have to defect.
PoliticsRe: Why Peter Obi Always Does The Visiting And Why Is No One Visiting Him In Return? by AsomughaChuks02: 2:02pm On Mar 26
Peter Obi doesn't have a home base. He failed to develop Anambra and immediately ran to live in Lagos after his lacklustre administration but now that Tinubu is President he has also run away from Lagos to squat with friends in Abuja as he claims not to have a house there. His political house in Onitsha is overgrown with weeds as he hardly lives there.
PoliticsRe: 2027: ADC In Last Stage Battle After Emerging Leading Opposition In Senate by AsomughaChuks02: 9:30am On Mar 26
When APC opposition merged in 2014 to remove President Jonathan, you could feel the weight of the coalition ganging up for battle even as an ordinary citizen, but this ADC looks like a child's play with no direction as they might likely break up further with some of them moving to NDC.
PoliticsRe: See Faces Of The People That Protested When GEJ Increased Fuel Price by AsomughaChuks02: 9:23am On Mar 26
No protest can make headway without Lagos and now the Lagos landlord is sitting President, how do you do it? If Peter Obi had built Anambra up the way Tinubu built Lagos, may be Anambra would have been the pillar of opposition. Instead Obi was saving Anambra money in his bank and using the rest to manufacture beer for drunkards.
PoliticsRe: Igbo Theft : Anioma And Other Nonsense by AsomughaChuks02: 8:37am On Mar 26
I am from Anambra and I know for a fact that the majority of Anambra people support the creation of Anioma state and not that satanic contraption called Orlu or Anim state. Whether it is allocated to the south south or south east is irrelevant.
PoliticsRe: Do You Think Bola Ahmed Tinubu Will Win Next Year's Presidential Election by AsomughaChuks02: 11:27am On Mar 25
He has everything required to win. He is not a coward like Jonathan. The worst that opposition will do is to go to court.
CrimeRe: Anambra Police Arrest Hot Lady Luring Okada Riders To Criminal Hideout In Ihiala by AsomughaChuks02: 9:47am On Mar 25
She must have been using her big breasts to press the okada riders from behind and make them lose their focus grin
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Slams El-Rufai’s Detention, Raises Rule Of Law Concerns by AsomughaChuks02: 8:55am On Mar 23
But you also detained El-Rufai in 2010 because he came to Awka to campaign for your rival Chris Ngige.
PoliticsRe: From Abacha To Now: Are We Watching Opposition Politics Being Silenced Again? by AsomughaChuks02: 9:27pm On Mar 20
All Nigerian politicians are the same, nothing like opposition in reality. All are just looking for the fastest way to get their own slice of the national cake.

Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo CFR has been blasting Peter Obi well before now and ndi Anambra re-elected him 21/21 landslide just a few months ago.
PoliticsRe: ‘Back Tinubu’ — Soludo Asks Igbo Not To Waste Their Votes In 2027 by AsomughaChuks02: 7:32am On Mar 18
Nemesis has caught up with Peter Obi. He thought it would be a roller coaster after stealing Anambra money to pursue his presidential ambition.
PoliticsRe: Burnaboy Visits Governor Fubara, Seeks Government Intervention Over Bad Road by AsomughaChuks02: 8:14pm On Mar 17
Will there be time to design, do procurement, award, construct and complete the road with less than 15 months left for Fubara as governor?

PoliticsRe: Tinubu's Appointment Of DG DSS: The Nifty Strategy That Ended 'sit-at-home' by AsomughaChuks02: 9:43am On Mar 17
Louis Achi that is from Enugu state is writing nonsense about Governor Soludo's handling of security in Anambra when fulani herdsmen are still maiming and kidnapping Enugu people on a daily basis while Governor Peter Mbah looks on cluelessly. All these years that IPOB/ESN were killing police officers and soldiers all over the south east, what did the DSS do to defeat IPOB in Anambra until Soludo formed and financed Udo ga chi vigilantees who sent the terrorists running back to Imo state.

PoliticsWill Peter Obi Attend Today's Swearing-in Event Of Governor Soludo For 2nd Term? by AsomughaChuks02(op): 7:30am On Mar 17
Today, 17th March, 2026, Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo CFR will be sworn in to office for a second term with pomp and pageantry all well deserved. He earned this honour after Ndi Anambra overwhelmingly gave him our mandate 21/21 with all his opponents in the election losing their local government areas while some like ADC and LP candidates even lost their polling units. Peter Obi the former governor lost his own polling unit to APC.

Now that the elections are behind us, today marks a new cycle of 4 years of the Solution is Here administration. On Sunday 15th March, a thanksgiving was held to thank God for the last 4 years and the next 4. Prominent Anambra sons and daughters graced the event including former governor Chris Ngige. Noticeably absent was Peter Obi who may have allowed his bitterness to get the better of him. Though in the country, he was a no-show.

Let's hope he will overcome his bitterness today and show up like the gentleman he pretends to be!
