Please read this detailed report by Channels TV. Don't mind IPOB false narratives. Governor Soludo has put them to shame.

Don’t mind the propagandist.. no he same Monday package.. it’s been long sit at house was strict in the east.. it has been relaxed long ago.

There’s always movement.. except for closed markets at is it today
Which closed market? Come main market nah. By now all the IPOB blogs would have been making videos if their sit at home in Anambra worked.
PoliticsMain Market Onitsha Is Bubbling. Traders And Keke Came Out In Force. by AsomughaChuks02(op): 12:16pm On Feb 02
I am very pleased with the middle finger that traders in main market gave to IPOB terrorists today. IPOB are too ashamed to release any video of main market as at this hour as that will make them look like toothless cowards.

Is that how busy Onitsha market is other days?

PoliticsMe And Other Politicians Are The Problem Of Nigeria, Pray For Us - Peter Obi by AsomughaChuks02(op): 3:58am On Feb 02
Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election, has called on Nigerians to pray for their political leaders, saying those in power bear primary responsibility for the country’s problems.

Obi spoke on Sunday at a thanksgiving service marking Oyo State’s 50th anniversary, held at the Cathedral of St. Peter Anglican Church.

“I want to make a request from Nigerians. Do remember us politicians in your prayers. We are the problem of Nigeria, no other person,” Obi said.
“Nigeria is not a poor country; it is poorly governed. Remember us in your prayers that God should touch our hearts to use public money for public good.”

In a post on X after the service, Obi thanked Seyi Makinde for inviting him to speak. He recalled that at the start of Makinde’s administration, he had addressed the governor’s first executive council retreat, where discussions focused on governance and leadership.

PoliticsRe: BREAKING: The New Epstein Files Heavily Implicate President Trump by AsomughaChuks02: 9:40pm On Jan 30
Waste of time by the Democrats. Trump will simply pardon himself for any crime related to the Epstein files before leaving office. That's what his predecessor Joe Biden taught him.

And yet people say our Nigerian government is corrupt. See how 250-year old democracy is disgracing itself.
PoliticsRe: IPOB Declares February 2 Sit-at-home Across S’east, Faults Soludo by AsomughaChuks02: 9:21pm On Jan 30
Nice move by IPOB. Onitsha main market traders have already shown that they are tired of their business. Time for Governor Soludo to repurpose the market for something better. But I am curious why IPOB terrorists didn't do the same thing when Governor Peter Mbah came hard on traders abiding with sit at home in Enugu.

IkeOnyia:
Good idea about turning the market to university grin
Many of the traders need to go to school. IPOB succeeded in brainwashing them due to their high levels of illiteracy. It is good Anambra has a first class professor as our Governor. He will change a lot of anomalies.
PoliticsDay 4: Onitsha Main Market Remains Shut, As Governor Contemplates Demolition by AsomughaChuks02(op): 8:48am On Jan 30
Update Today Friday 30/01/26

The Onitsha main market is under lock and key. All the traders are obeying the sit at home command of our Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo CFR.

Governor Soludo is scheduled to visit the market on Monday and observe the situation on ground and if it hasn't improved, the Governor has said he may demolish the market completely and build a world class university there to curb the high rate of illiteracy in Onitsha.

The abakaleke people who protested in the market on Tuesday have all disappeared since they noticed that Anambra indigenes are fully in support of our Governor.
PoliticsRe: Gentle The Yahoo Is Back 28/01/2026. Sends Strong Message To Biafrans (video) by AsomughaChuks02: 5:33pm On Jan 29
Many comments I have seen on Facebook book say that it is a doctored video. AI generated.

Nigerian army said they killed him and fed his body to dogs.

But you would have preferred Pakistan, Iran or any muslim nation to conduct the airstrikes so that they would target the Christian victims instead.
EducationRe: Soludo Threatens To Shut Private Schools That Fail To Open On Mondays by AsomughaChuks02: 3:11pm On Jan 29
Good move. Illiterates will argue with him though. They are the ones who were boldly shouting "chow us the raw"on Tuesday grin
PoliticsRe: Protests Erupt In Anambra State Over Market Closure (Video) by AsomughaChuks02: 2:42pm On Jan 29
Propaganda. The only protest that happened was on Tuesday by umu abakaleke.

Onitsha Main market is still shutdown under lock and key with traders enjoying their sit at home as ordered by Governor Soludo.

Other markets in Onitsha are bubbling with activities meanwhile.

Let’s be on the same page. Think about what just happened in Onitsha. Now imagine the kind of chaos, trade freeze, and supply-chain disruption that would erupt if Dubai’s main market were shut down for a whole week not the normal, understood Friday slowdown, but a full stop.
Main market is not the only market in Onitsha nah. I just left building materials in Ogidi. Everywhere is bubbling and many others too.
PoliticsRe: Chinese Businesswoman Angry About The Closure Of Onitsha Main Market by AsomughaChuks02: 12:23pm On Jan 29
kettykin:
This is very fine , both cities are twin cities and compliment each other in a number of ways . But let the spill over be because of trade overflow and not because of internal sabotage .

My experience in Dubai however tells me that Onitsha is not full but congested and needs a real planning expert to decongest
We don't care whatever. Let those who want to relocate to Asaba do that and Delta state government carry the responsibility. Onitsha is full.
PoliticsRe: Tax Laws: Akpabio Dismisses Alleged Alteration, Orders Distribution To Senators by AsomughaChuks02: 12:20pm On Jan 29
The muslim core north hates to pay tax but want to control or better put, squander the tax paid by the south in the name of political power. Is that fair?
PoliticsRe: Chinese Businesswoman Angry About The Closure Of Onitsha Main Market by AsomughaChuks02: 12:12pm On Jan 29
kettykin:
Asaba is building an International Market , if the disruption continues in Onitsha , smart traders will move to Asaba, people come from Agbor , Benin, Owerri, PH , Aba , Uyo , Enugu, Abuja Lagos , i have seen People from Ondo and Ibadan coming to Onitsha for business , if these continues they will shift base to Asaba, Asaba does not do Sit at home and will not allow it . The Governor can stop it without shutting down the Market for a week.

Already our real estate developers are already in Asaba building the Next generation real estates , Thanks to the hostility from other cities
Onitsha is full. Those that want to move across to Asaba can do so. A lot of the money made in Asaba will also flow into Onitsha due to the symbiotic relationship between both cities.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu In Turkey: Did This Actually Happen Or Just AI Manipulation? by AsomughaChuks02: 12:08pm On Jan 29
My grouse with this visit is that oversized coat they gave Tinubu to wear. The Turkish president may think our President is not eating well.
PoliticsRe: Chinese Businesswoman Angry About The Closure Of Onitsha Main Market by AsomughaChuks02: 12:03pm On Jan 29
kettykin:
If you know the global supply chain that has been disrupted by this market closure you will be angry with both the traders and the Governor.

Again , what exactly is the Monday sit at home meant to achieve?

My secret fear is that Asaba will be the final beneficiary of this leadership failure
Asaba doesn't do sit at home. Why will the traders want to go there and not observe monday sit at home but insist on observing it in Onitsha?
PoliticsRe: Chinese Businesswoman Angry About The Closure Of Onitsha Main Market by AsomughaChuks02: 12:01pm On Jan 29
Other markets in Onitsha are open and bubbling with activities. Only Main market is shutdown till next Monday when the Governor will visit again to see the level of sabotage and then decide whether to reopen it or extend the traders' holiday.

Nothing new. He campaigned in Anambra last year for a widow running for state house of assembly, a senatorial candidate and a governorship candidate with street campaigns like this. Guess what? They all lost!
PoliticsRe: Onitsha Main Market Closure: Traders Chant Anti-Soludo Slogan (Video) by AsomughaChuks02: 12:28pm On Jan 27
Kalulu44:
Removing Ojukwu's portrait still doesn't take away the fact Ojukwu created the party. He should have changed the party's name or join another party now?
And talking about if he's doing it now or in his first term, you still agrees with me he's a coward for waiting after 4yrs to do what we all think is right.
Fear of not getting his second term made him wait till now
You're ignorant. Ojukwu created which party? IPOB terrorists and their native doctors terrorizing Anambra state had to be neutralized first before taking this action. I am pleased to tell you that a large number of them have been killed so the traders no longer have an excuse to continue sabotaging the state.
PoliticsRe: Onitsha Main Market Closure: Traders Chant Anti-Soludo Slogan (Video) by AsomughaChuks02: 12:00pm On Jan 27
Kalulu44:
First of all voted for massively is an understatement. Soludo is still there bcus of that party named APGA an obeyance to Ojukwu who created it. And don't also rule out massive rigging.
.
If Soludo thinks he's man of his words and not a coward as I think he's. Why didn't he show this seriousness about the sit at home before his second term re-election. Why wait till now?
Lastly! I'm not in support of IPOB or their senseless sit at home, just bringing in logic here
First term or second term it doesn't matter. What matters is that he is doing it now. Besides, Soludo removed Ojukwu's portrait from all APGA uniforms before the election and he has long declared himself a Zikist ie follower of the ideology of Nnamdi Azikiwe. So if you still think Anambra people voted for him 21/21 because of Ojukwu or whatever nonsense you are postulating, carry on.
PoliticsRe: Onitsha Main Market Closure: Traders Chant Anti-Soludo Slogan (Video) by AsomughaChuks02: 11:33am On Jan 27
IPOB terrorists don't usually vote in Nigerian elections so they are no threat to Soludo or APGA. Main market remains shut for the next week and Soludo has even vowed to demolish the market completely if need be.
