I don't believe that fulani herdsmen killed anybody in Ebonyi state. Ebonyi crisis is an internal war. Ezza vs Izzi, Effium vs Opium, or likely Cross River border clashes. Ebonyi people are too violent by nature.

It is very very likely that the Enugu akanu ibiam airport will be downgraded to a local airport when the Anambra Chief Willie Obiano International Airport Umueri begins operations. My God, the level of enthusiasm among ndi Anambra elite and commoners in this airport is awesome. The airport may even attract an Air Force Base to Umueri/Aguleri. Federal agencies like customs, NCAA and immigrations will set shop in the airport. There is even prospect for an Aviation training school being set up around the vicinity. Hotels, factories, recreation parks will spring up nearby. It will be mind blowing.

They all came to visit the one in Anambra because this airport exists and is viable not one social media airport somewhere further east that is being built out of envy.

That beautiful, well planned, well built market in Oba on your right when coming into Onitsha from Ihiala is a better location. The government should insist on them relocating there. They shouldn't be the ones to tell the government where they want to trade. Government is in charge of urban planning.

I'm still wondering how this airport will be viable with Asaba airport much closer to Onitsha than this ongoing project. Delta State was strategic when they sited their airport close to Onitsha. Now, it will be serving both Onitsha and Delta State.

What are you even saying? That airport is much closer to Onitsha residents than Asaba airport. The vast majority of those living in Onitsha live in GRA, Omagba, 33, Nkwelle, Nsugbe, Ogidi, Nkpor which are much closer to Umueri than Asaba. Do you know the traffic that builds up on head bridge every morning, midday and evening? And if you manage to cross the bridge, another hold up is waiting for you on the Asaba end? Besides, the Chief Willie Obiano International Airport Umueri was not built with only Onitsha in mind, those in Awka and environs will start patronizing it since it is much closer to them than Enugu.

PDP aspirants should steer clear of our beloved Chief Willie Obiano International Airport Umueri before they burn it down like they burned government house Awka. PDP are hallucinating if they think they stand any chance in this election. After their primaries is rigged as usual, they will scatter in different directions.
