Tpsworld: Hi guys, I also got the invite to come for Aptitude test and other drilling. I've got all my credentials ready, although, I'm also a contract staff in Union Bank in Lagos. My fear is, they might prefer a permanent staff of other banks and I'm thinking of not going . Anyone also in my shoe? Go and try your luck. I hope you updated your profile and you choose your mode of employment as contract? they must have seen that before sending you invite. Who knows whether they will prefer contract staff this time around, because the truth is that this contract people even understand the job than the core staff. |

osagiemi: thanks for the enlightenment, I understand better now. But I still think those figures aren't what FBN pays, I just guess its a lil higher I have confirmed from a friend who works with FBN and he gave something close to that. But let me confirm from another friend. I will get back. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Firstbank Is Recruiting by asonopepo: 2:54pm On Apr 16, 2015 |
osagiemi: my dear, salary after confirmation is usually higher b4 confirmation and not the other way round Don't argue about what you know nothing about. Salaries before confirmation is higher. This is because you are still on probation. All your money will be paid. After confirmation, you will be receiving upfront, Passage/Leave allowance for a year. This will then reduce your monthly take home. So, the analysis is very correct. |

you don't need to submit your Password to your employer. All you need to submit is the PIN for your employer to remit your Pension fund to your PFA. |

Funjosh: Agent! you are very correct. i just find out now that he also has a job seekers' blog. is name is Emem Etuk, he is an agent. you can find him on Fbook by searching for THE JOB SEEKERS' CREED. I don't know why we are like this in nigeria, always looking for avenues to exploit poor job seekers. @nenergy, you are one of the reason why we have issues here in nigeria. |

nenergy: The platform is genuine, as it has the support of Phillips consulting. . I've gotten 3 interviews since I registered. I paid the 3 k 1st week of January and my profile was upgraded to Shortlist +. I'm hopeful. @nenergy, I would like to contact you for some info. I have tried registering through Master card but not successful. how did you register? Additionally, you said you got 3 interviews, are these interviews with big companies or otherwise? |

I just got my own now for 30k in osogbo. Which network would be best to use this machine? |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Osogbo In Osun State, pls. Tell Me About It! by asonopepo: 5:21pm On Nov 20, 2013 |
Dollarjunkie: Served in Osogbo. Its a cool city and peaceful. There's always light but PHCN wahala join ooo. For the type of ur biz, I will choose Olaiya junction for you. Get a place in Odi-olowo street (the house rent there is so cheap like 1.5k/month for a room). Odi-olowo, alekwodu and Gbongan joined at the Olaiya junction. I prefer Odi_olowo to others. A market is there and phone accessories sellers as well as Sim registration agents can be found there too. I think that place is the best bet. Airtel and MTN offices are some few kilometers away from there. The only problem there (which mostly won't affect you) is that Banks are situated at Gbongan road, and armed robbers mostly rob banks there. And they pass through that olaiya junction after every robbery and sometimes shoots in the air. Didn't witness any victim of their shooting during my time there but witnessed many robbery attack cuz I stay close to the junction. This is best I can offer and I hope it helps out. @Dollarjunkie, Why are you adding salt and sugar to your analysis about osogbo? All what you said about osogbo is fine except the armed robber thing. I have spent over four years in osogbo and I have never witness armed robbery. As a matter of fact, I work in one of the banks in osogbo and I have never witness such. I disagree with you. |
