I will like to suggest that all importers of cars should write a protest letter to ANCLA because they will carry out the protest and escalate it .
Though the ANCLA at times might be a toothless dog , if they don't compromise.the better.

Directly or indirectly dues are paid to them .

The point is that arrangement will fail some day. I actually paid for my Lexus RX 350 but it was still vandalized up to N1m - key fob, Power control, woofer, side mirror, catalyst, engine cover, back light name it!

Sorry for the loss. Its really disheartening . An importer brought in car and two of the catalyst were stolen , battery gone . Though most of the time cars at the ship side suffers this rate .

In future, your agent should be on ground and ensure he liase with the security to help you secure the car before arrival to avoid vandalization and theft..
Secondly,. You can follow up your claim to the letter and you will be compensated . Escalate it to sallaum office in Lagos and their office overseas.

Grimaldi is way better. Sallaum is not organized at all which makes it prone to vandals and pilfering .
