If it's sallaum you can get it lower and is good to go.

A transfer can be done from sallaum to an offdock terminal which makes duty payable very ok to clear cars from there , but close monitoring of the vehicles the major thing .
Theft is rampant at sallaum , but not so much at Grimaldi. The choice is yours

I have been tracking the said vessel,it came from lome to cotonou yesterday,I was expecting it to head to Lagos after cotonou,but it has rather gone back to lome,why not berth in Lagos from cotonou n discharge cargo.am a bit perplexed.and the ETA of 19th seems far when the vessel is already in the vicinity.

If you know anyone in US , the person can help you search /source and you pay the person.

Have not had a transaction of those agencies in Lagos.

I ship most of the cars from someone in US and he ships. the person in question is a shipper.

Yes. . I can help you clear as a clearing agent.

Basically , there is a way it works.
The car dealers we have in Nigeria has a working relationship with the auction companies and it involves some documentation with them.

Irrespective , I can help you get a good one of Toyota Rav 4 2008 . Someone over will search and see a car that has good odometer and a proper VIN Check is done on it.

Aside the cost of the car you are buying

Shipping charges hovers between 850 dollars to 1,000 Dollars depending on shipping companies used., Tow charge which is added to the cost of the car .
580k is the amount to be budgeted for clearing it in Nigeria.

The basic is most vehicles from 2014-2019 usually attract a percentage of 30% of the C.I.F and that implies the surface duty to be paid.

For instance the US$28,000 of the car you mentioned
So thus 28,000*326
Then total multiply by exchange of 326
And take 30% from it

Government made a mistake of attempting giving Nigerians foodstuffs. Nigeria is not Switzerland or any of these well organised European countries that different houses know the number of people living in houses next to them. Government of those countries know exactly number of people on each street, how many foodstuffs government is going to buy for over 20m people in Lagos State, since everyone is connected to a working class citizens one way or the other, government should have mandated every company either small and large companies to pay off their staff before the lockdown and encourage/persuade the paid working class to help their relatives in one way or the other.

I believe nothing is permanent and the pandemic will surely go, but if it doesn't teach us a lesson or two then which way are we heading to......
