12-years-old Blessing Ineh, has survived from being slaughtered by suspected ‘Yahoo boys’ after being rescued alive inside a soak-away pit.

The young girl had been declared missing in Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta state, before she was luckily found and rescued from the ‘hands of death’.

She was last seen on New Year Day after being sent on errand by her parents.

She was reportedly found inside a soakaway located behind her family house on Tuesday, January 5, after another child heard her whimpering and raised an alarm.

Popular Nigerian musician, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has finally joined his family’s multi-billionaire business enterprise, Pacific Holdings Limited.

The ‘Fem’ crooner hinted at the new development on his Twitter handle while sharing a photo of his father's company logo.

Confirming this, a quick glance through the company’s website shows that it has been updated to include Davido’s name on its ‘Board of Directors’. Hence, the father of three will be joining his brother, Wale Adeleke, and of course his father, Adedeji Adeleke, on the board.

Following a recent report of a man, Austin, who fled his home in Benin, Edo state, after his wife, Rita, delivered a set of quadruplets, has blamed and attributed his abscondment or action to the current economic situation in the country.

Austin had gone into hiding on hearing his wife had delivered four babies at the General Hospital in Benin on January 2, 2021.

The couple were learnt to have been blessed with five children already before the arrival of the new-born quadruplets, bringing the total children to nine (9).

A policeman identified as Fatai Yekini, has been reportedly shot and injured by an official of the Oyo State Security Network Agency, Operation Amotekun.

Yekini, a special police constable attached to Ojongbodu Police Station, was shot by the Amotekun officer, Ibrahim Ogundele, at the Sanga area of Oyo town on Saturday, January 2.

One Sabi’u Chamo, has been sentenced to imprisonment by a Chief Magistrates’ Court sitting in Dutse, Jigawa state, for the defamation of character against the state governor, Badaru Abubakar.

Chamo was arrested on Christmas eve, December 24, and detained before being charged to court for failure to substantiate the allegations he made on Facebook.

He had alleged that Governor Badaru of Jigawa state had duped many aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by collecting money from them in exchange for party tickets.
