Every single drug we take has side effects such as this and even worse. Just try reading the leaflet present in every drug we purchase and use, you'd be scared of even taking it self. Its just that it hardly occurs, about 1 in 10 million people perhaps. I dont think this case has to do with fake medication. |

Why do you guys have to post this arrant nonsense?
A 200 in this condition with an uncracked dash will go for no less than $3,500 to $5,000 here, that is N1,000,000 to N1,500,000

kaeforum: This is discouraging to hear. Ac systems on most japanese cars tennd to be resilient and trouble free.
However on european cars they can be a headache when things go wrong.
I would advice u to consult ur owners manual or car forums online before jumping to anaija tech.
Even dealerships in naija don't have competent hands , they just hire kazeems and give dem uniforms to decieve customers. Actually, the best AC systems are on Korean cars (speaking from personal experience) this is nothing new, its standard practise, from honda place to coscharis motors et al |

Caveatemptor: @OP,Readonee35L, Thanks for this thread which is long over due. Quite frankly I do not believe we have air conditioner technicians for cars in this country. Most of these technician's rely on trial by error methods. Right now I have two cars and the air conditioners have been savaged by so called air conditioner technicians. They have replaced condensers, evaporators, dryers, radiators etc to no avail. They air conditioners will work for maybe a month or two and then pack up. Just so frustrating. Trust me there are the good guys. For every single problem with any car, there is the solution here in Nigeria (as long as you dont have to change d radiators of a bugatti to double cell ) , just be prepared to spend good money, coz quality doesnt come cheap. |

Specialist900: does this mean the AC gas when filled last more than 10yrs before refill? I think it can last 100 years as long as there is no leak or damage to any components of the AC system the ac kini is a closed system. the refrigerant is meant to circulate, it actually does not finish. |

I have sent you a PM Egunmogaji. It pertains to your question on how to get firearms license in Nigeria, I saw something on it, incase you are still interested in finding out. Also, have it in mind that the license only covers shotguns and pistols, not assault rifles like you guys sling about anyhow in the states Only the Nigerian President can issue a license for automatic firearms I think. |

lonelydora: You met a good man. Thank your God. There is always a "First Offence" which will be the reason they will stop you before seeing other offence. regardless of 1st offence or meeting a good man or thanking God, my valid point remains that there are some fines that are cheaper to pay, than 'settling' with the FRSC or LASTMA. |
Car Talk › Re: My Experience With LASTMA Today And Lessons To Be Learnt by ataspray(m): 5:13am On Jun 05, 2016 |
lonelydora: As long as you have entered their office, your fine won't be less than 5k. FRSC cannot just write one of fence for you. They will always add "Reluctant to stop" to whatever offence. ok,on a friday, I was once caught by road safety for 'DGD' (dangerous driving, because i was trying to do one way). Was taken to their office, after much entreaties, a ticket was written, but it was not for DGD which was a substantial amount, it was for my cracked windscreen. The fine was 2k (two thousand Nigerian naira) which I paid to their UBA account the next monday. My license was seized on that friday though, but I was given like a temporary waiver so I could drive over the weekend till monday, and I was let go with my car. So what say ye? |
Car Talk › Re: My Experience With LASTMA Today And Lessons To Be Learnt by ataspray(m): 10:26pm On Jun 04, 2016 |
lonelydora: Just like FRSC, once they write that ticket for you, there is nothing anyone can do until you pay the said amount.
It's always better to settle issues on the road no matter the offence than going to the office. it actually depends on the offence. It's cheaper to pay some fines, than settle 5k. |

MadCow1: Let's take a minute to salute the spirit of the brave guy who went in to check. That man is indeed worthy of praise and a reward.
That Man is a Nigerian hero.
I heard the language in the video and almost everyone was speaking yoruba which I don't really understand. But at some point in the video, I believe a discussion of the Okada riders tribe came up because I could hear something that sounded to me like "he is hausa" in the conversation. Tribe not withstanding they still went in and rescued him without any safety equipment or professional training.
God bless those Nigerians. Out of the warmest place in my heart I say thank you. Things like this give me faith that we can actually function as one Nation if we all genuinely put aside our differences and work towards a common goal. In this video, I saw Yoruba come together to save an Hausa man's life. you mirror my exact thoughts. |

bigerboy200: ....and some people were asking if he was a "mallam"..aka "aboki"....does that make him less of a human ? we need to quit tribalism honestly. the first reaction of a rational human on seeing another person in danger is to help! this is irrespective of race, tribe, religion etc. Lets all stop dividing ourselves. |
