unfortunately your common sense is not sophisticated enough for me to make do with what it prefers as facts.

You are only speculating, quote me when u have facts(figures, pictures... ) as it is what we use on here.

Thank you!
I dont want to debate this with you. Obiano raised the state's IGR from a paltry 500 million a month to over 1 billion naira within 6 months. Facts or not? With an extra 500 million, obiano is well positioned to do better than his predecessor. Tell us if the IGR is part of the foundation obi laid for obiano.

Now that he has become president, buhari commissioned the review of a 1974 islamic book to be forced into our curricula. This must be rejected
PoliticsBuhari Begins The Islamization Of Nigeria by AtlanticBreeze(op): 7:25pm On Aug 04, 2015
President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Federal Ministry of Education to include two Islamic Studies books written by the late Justice Muhammad Bashir Sambo in the secondary school curriculum for all Federal Government Colleges.

He gave the directive in Kaduna while launching the reviewed editions of the books which were first published in 1974.

Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State, who represented the President said such books was needed at a time moral and religious values in the country were declining.

Buhari commended the co-authors for updating and structuring the books to match the new secondary school curriculum.

The chairman, Board of Trustees of Jaiz Charity and Development Foundation, Alhaji Umar A. Mutallab, said the Bashir Sambo Centre for Islamic Da’awah was established by disciples and associates of late Justice Sambo in order to immortalise and inspire the legacy of the late sage.

The Islamic Studies for Secondary Schools, co-sponsored by the Bashir Sambo Centre for Islamic Da’awah and Jaiz Charity and Development Foundation in memory of late Justice Bashir Sambo, former Judge of Sharia Court of Appeal and the Code of Conduct Tribunal, were reviewed by Mallam Mukhtar Lere to conform with the current 6-3-3-4 educational system in the country.

We dont care about a government formed by terrorists. Igbos are not part of this government. The so called GMD NNPC is not igbo but SS. It pleases me that Buhari will be running his government without us, lets see how he will succeed.

which state is not indebted? Even Anambra is indebted. Lagos that everybody is rushing to stay is indebted, America is indebted. There is a difference between a public and private institution. Its only when there is nothing tangible to show for indebtedness that there is a problem

please stop this.......if not for peter obi who laid a good foundation, I don't think obiano would be doing things like these.......
tah, shut up.. Good foundation ko. Talking about good foundation, Chime and Akpabio were the only governors that left a solid foundation and legacy in their states but lets see if there successors will do better than them like obiano is already doing. It's better people face realities on ground and do away with sentiments

I agree with you. Anambra needs an international airport as soon as possible. Besides the fact that the state accounts for the highest number of Private jet owners, there is money to be made here. Lets not forget that airports opens up cities. Like Ngige said during the campaign, Nke anyi bu nke anyi..

FYI, Anambra would have been among the states owing workers salaries if not for what peter obi did. Like him or hate him, Obiano is celebrated today because Obi handed him a financially healthy state.
What did Peter obi do? Any governor in his right onions will pay salaries obiano already alluded to this. There is no reason obiano will not pay salaries when he already increased the IGR by 100%. Amaechi was owing over 4 months salaries in Rivers state but today Wike has cleared all the salaries. Any governor that wants to perform will perform so stop deceiving yourself with this notion, as if Peter obi left hundreds of billions behind for obiano

Some folks actually disagreed with me earlier this morning when I said Buhari's much publicized trip to the US was a waste of tax payers money. It was the most embarrassing outing of a Nigerian president to the USA ever!
PoliticsUS Senator Leahy Blasts Buhari by AtlanticBreeze(op): 1:11am On Jul 25, 2015
“It is well documented by the State Department and by respected human rights organizations that Nigerian army personnel have, for many years, engaged in a pattern and practice of gross violations of human rights against the Nigerian people and others, including summary executions of prisoners, indiscriminate attacks against civilians, torture, forced disappearances and rape. Rarely have the perpetrators been prosecuted or punished.

“This abusive conduct not only violates the laws of war, it creates fear and loathing among the Nigerian people whose support is necessary to defeat a terrorist group like Boko Haram.

“President Buhari ignores the undisputed fact that most Nigerian army units have been approved, under the Leahy Law, for U.S. training and equipment. Only those particular units against which there is credible evidence of the most heinous crimes are ineligible for U.S. aid. And even those units can again become eligible if the Nigerian Government takes effective steps to bring the responsible individuals to justice.

“I strongly agree with President Buhari about the need to defeat Boko Haram, and I have supported tens of millions of dollars in U.S. aid to Nigeria for that purpose. But rather than suggest that the United States is at fault for not funding murderers and rapists in the Nigerian military, he should face up to his own responsibility to effectively counter Boko Haram. He should direct his attention to the Nigerian military, and the Nigerian courts, and clean up the units implicated in such atrocities.”

Buhari Town Hall Meeting In US Turns Into An Embarrassment, Many Nigerians Banned After Being Invited

More than 200 Nigerians, many in their finest business or traditional dress, waited anxiously outside the Nigerian embassy in Washington DC, USA hoping to be permitted entrance to the only event organized for the Nigerian diaspora.

The event was part of President Buhari’s official state visit to the United States and was held on Tuesday, July 20th from 6 to 8 pm at the Nigerian Embassy to the United States. The evening included a Town Hall for Nigerians to interact with President Buhari and a “Meet and Greet” for young Nigerian professionals.

As the desperate crowd began to swell, many Nigerians demanded explanations from embassy officials and secret service agents at the gate. One special agent told a SaharaReporters correspondent that “all I know is we can’t let anyone in right now.”

As SaharaReporters began interviewing members of the crowd, it became obvious that Nigerian embassy officials were discriminating against certain people and giving entrance to others.

“We are friends with the Principal Secretary, he will be coming to get us,” said one man and his family when a SaharaReporters correspondent asked him whether he would gain entrance. The man refused to give the name of which Principal Secretary he was referring to when he noticed the “SaharaReporters” ID badge. A few moments later members of security escorted the well-connected man through the gate and into the event.

One member of the Nigerian diaspora told SaharaReporters that “look you must see! This is a form of corruption! All those people in there are powerful people! Only the powerful people were let through the gate.”

Toward the front of the crowd was Miss Nigeria America contestant who complained to SaharaReporters that “it was very unfair to do this” to her and the crowd. The Miss Nigeria America contestant had left a few minutes later, but it is not known whether she was given admittance.

Many of those gathered at the Nigerian embassy gate had their official invitations but were still denied, including members of the SaharaReporters team. Several Nigerians desperately held their fancy invitations into the air, calling out to any official-looking person at the gate.

“I don’t understand, I am here, and they gave me my invitation,” one man told SaharaReporters while holding his fancy green invitation card.

Even members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) USA Committee, dressed in traditional wear with APC logos, were not spared embarrassment. Some of these members expressed disappointment with not being able to meet President Buhari or even be allowed to attend the posh events.
