Under Buhari's government? ok |
Sunday Oliseh should go to hell. I hope Ibe, an igbo man will reject his offer |
Tex42:I dont want to debate this with you. Obiano raised the state's IGR from a paltry 500 million a month to over 1 billion naira within 6 months. Facts or not? With an extra 500 million, obiano is well positioned to do better than his predecessor. Tell us if the IGR is part of the foundation obi laid for obiano. |
UnknownT:lol. to each his opinion.. |
Tex42:common sense is my facts so you can use it if you like |
Now that he has become president, buhari commissioned the review of a 1974 islamic book to be forced into our curricula. This must be rejected |
President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Federal Ministry of Education to include two Islamic Studies books written by the late Justice Muhammad Bashir Sambo in the secondary school curriculum for all Federal Government Colleges. He gave the directive in Kaduna while launching the reviewed editions of the books which were first published in 1974. Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State, who represented the President said such books was needed at a time moral and religious values in the country were declining. Buhari commended the co-authors for updating and structuring the books to match the new secondary school curriculum. The chairman, Board of Trustees of Jaiz Charity and Development Foundation, Alhaji Umar A. Mutallab, said the Bashir Sambo Centre for Islamic Da’awah was established by disciples and associates of late Justice Sambo in order to immortalise and inspire the legacy of the late sage. The Islamic Studies for Secondary Schools, co-sponsored by the Bashir Sambo Centre for Islamic Da’awah and Jaiz Charity and Development Foundation in memory of late Justice Bashir Sambo, former Judge of Sharia Court of Appeal and the Code of Conduct Tribunal, were reviewed by Mallam Mukhtar Lere to conform with the current 6-3-3-4 educational system in the country. http://www.thebreakingtimes.com/buhari-directs-inclusion-of-islamic-books-in-education-curriculum/ |
gists:You.. If not you wont be replying me. |
Buhari can never wash himself away from the toga of Bigot, tribalist and terrorist. Nothing will ever impress me about this government |
We dont care about a government formed by terrorists. Igbos are not part of this government. The so called GMD NNPC is not igbo but SS. It pleases me that Buhari will be running his government without us, lets see how he will succeed. |
asha80:which state is not indebted? Even Anambra is indebted. Lagos that everybody is rushing to stay is indebted, America is indebted. There is a difference between a public and private institution. Its only when there is nothing tangible to show for indebtedness that there is a problem |
meccuno:tah, shut up.. Good foundation ko. Talking about good foundation, Chime and Akpabio were the only governors that left a solid foundation and legacy in their states but lets see if there successors will do better than them like obiano is already doing. It's better people face realities on ground and do away with sentiments |
investnow2013:I agree with you. Anambra needs an international airport as soon as possible. Besides the fact that the state accounts for the highest number of Private jet owners, there is money to be made here. Lets not forget that airports opens up cities. Like Ngige said during the campaign, Nke anyi bu nke anyi.. |
Zonacom:What did Peter obi do? Any governor in his right onions will pay salaries obiano already alluded to this. There is no reason obiano will not pay salaries when he already increased the IGR by 100%. Amaechi was owing over 4 months salaries in Rivers state but today Wike has cleared all the salaries. Any governor that wants to perform will perform so stop deceiving yourself with this notion, as if Peter obi left hundreds of billions behind for obiano |
I'm really impressed with what willie obiano is doing in Anambra. Anambra would have gone very far by now if not for the charlatan petty criminal called Peter obi we used to have as governor for 8 years. For the first time, we are seeing solid infrastructure in the state |
SE will never support Buhari. We hate him, simples |
She has been replaced with these political comedians. Learn to deal with them
|
They have not seen anything. US has refused to offer Military support to Buhari. Wait until NOI starts rubbishing this government before world bank. lol |
Some folks actually disagreed with me earlier this morning when I said Buhari's much publicized trip to the US was a waste of tax payers money. It was the most embarrassing outing of a Nigerian president to the USA ever! |
“It is well documented by the State Department and by respected human rights organizations that Nigerian army personnel have, for many years, engaged in a pattern and practice of gross violations of human rights against the Nigerian people and others, including summary executions of prisoners, indiscriminate attacks against civilians, torture, forced disappearances and rape. Rarely have the perpetrators been prosecuted or punished. “This abusive conduct not only violates the laws of war, it creates fear and loathing among the Nigerian people whose support is necessary to defeat a terrorist group like Boko Haram. “President Buhari ignores the undisputed fact that most Nigerian army units have been approved, under the Leahy Law, for U.S. training and equipment. Only those particular units against which there is credible evidence of the most heinous crimes are ineligible for U.S. aid. And even those units can again become eligible if the Nigerian Government takes effective steps to bring the responsible individuals to justice. “I strongly agree with President Buhari about the need to defeat Boko Haram, and I have supported tens of millions of dollars in U.S. aid to Nigeria for that purpose. But rather than suggest that the United States is at fault for not funding murderers and rapists in the Nigerian military, he should face up to his own responsibility to effectively counter Boko Haram. He should direct his attention to the Nigerian military, and the Nigerian courts, and clean up the units implicated in such atrocities.” http://www.leahy.senate.gov/press/reaction-of-senator-patrick-leahy-d-vt-to-nigerian-president-buharis-mis-directed-criticism-of-the-leahy-law-on-human-rights |
jaems:I dont also agree with your comments. Buhari is a disaster waiting to happen |
pistol:Nigeria became a hopeless country the moment Buhari became president |
Buhari just went to the US on a jamboree to waste Tax Payers funds. The Nigerians that voted change should be ashamed that even the former presidents visit to the US was more beneficial to Nigeria than a mis-yarning old man going to take pics with obama |
Buhari Town Hall Meeting In US Turns Into An Embarrassment, Many Nigerians Banned After Being Invited More than 200 Nigerians, many in their finest business or traditional dress, waited anxiously outside the Nigerian embassy in Washington DC, USA hoping to be permitted entrance to the only event organized for the Nigerian diaspora.http://saharareporters.com/2015/07/23/%E2%80%8Bbuhari-town-hall-meeting-us-turns-embarrassment-many-nigerians-banned-after-being |
Anything coming from Nations thrashpaper is a fat lie |
Why is this not on the homepage? |
Onijagidijagan:why always yorubas? smh |
Can a leopard change its spots? I beg buhari to please stick with fulani and yorubas. We ignos do not want to be associated with this evil, terrorist government. We are just sitting waiting for Buhari to destroy the nation finally |
This is 2015 and people still read nation thrashpapers? |
gboss4sure:every yoruba person is a tribalist by default. They may try to hide it.. |
