Curlieweed: You need to be consistent here. Every evidence points to the fact that the there are no "Nigerian people". What you have are not Nigerians but Hausas, Igbos, Yorubas, Egbiras, Izons, Ibibios ...etc.
Based on your past arguments about Lagos being in Yorubaland, Nigeria is even a virtual country and the actual countries are Hausaland, Kanuriland, Izonland, Efikland, Nupeland, Jukunland, Tivland ... Etc. You can't have it both ways. That would be hypocrisy.
Let's do the honourable thing and free ourselves from this colonial prison camp. |

eCollynzo: Your grand father is a useless liar, I spit on his grave. How could cocoa money have been shared among the various regions in Nigeria when other regions were producing their rubber and palm oil which made Nigeria the highest exporter of those products at that time? Shame on you and your lying grand father. No one benefitted from your cocoa money. |

[s] deletrue: Nor be Urhobo? They are the most dubious Nigerians. Very cunny and highly unreliable. The Urhobos started stealling immediatelt after independence. Their senior chiefs who are rich and pupolar today formed partnership with the oyibo traders, deceived them and in most cases kill them and convert their businesses and bank accounts. We have people like Causin Mosheshe, Chief Odibo, Chief Omoko and many others. They are all thieves. These ones who have just blown up gas pipes will be easy to trace. They do not have any purpose. They are just criminals. [/s] You have to try harder. |

There is no fight going on in the PDP, the chairman and the current NWC will be voted out, if they refuse to gracefully resign. A new team will be coming on board, this team will also reflect the new political lines in Nigeria. |

I think the removal of the chairman is a foregone conclusion. The party is preparing to hibernate for 8 years in the opposition, the current chairman will not add any value to the party. The moneybags/political members of the party will dictate who becomes chairman. The PDP power base is now centered in SS/SE/SW. |

kaboninc: Nne,
Same news site have information about the content of the letter Sanusi sent to GEJ. They also have details of the various House and Senate meetings and Inter Ministerial committee meetings for which Sanusi was a member.
They have the various figures alleged by Sanusi to be 'missing' - $49.8 billion, $12 billion, $10.8 billion and lastly $20 billion. I wonder why $20 billion stuck.
Then take time to read the PwC's final report. Its just simply a report. A financial document and doesn't contain jargon.
Am sure you'd agree that the SAME recommendations by the House and Senate were maintained by PwC.
Nne, I believe some people just like to distort fact and seriously, Nigerian youths have a long way to go! Your last line is the summation of our reality. Not only the youths but Nigeria as a whole truly has a long way to go. The last couple of months have proven to me, why 419 is a very successful scam in Nigeria. I never knew Nigerians were this gullible. Imagine people building castles in the Sky with invisible billions of dollars. |

The party stated that President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, had promised that he would look into the allocation coming to states immediately after his inauguration on May 29th.
Why will any person tell this kind of lie? When you know the allocation formula is written in stone, not by the president but by the constitution and revenue allocation committee.. Will APC followers be able to handle the disappointment awaiting them.
People there is no free money anywhere, Osun is not going to collection a kobo more than last month unless the price of crude oil improves. |

If it were not sad, one would laugh about it. But millions in Osun truly believe stories like this. The govs in APC states told their state indigenes, Jonathan was withholding their allocation to punish them. That was their campaign narrative, May 29 will be here in four weeks and 99% of these states will be roaming around without playing salaries. At least Jonathan will not be there for them to blame. |

It is also your loss as a Nigerian, if you are unaware, for GMB to fail. Please stop smoking weed and deal with reality. Keep finding your billions, you will need all of it. |
Politics › Re: Copy of Forensic Audit Report Into Allegations Of Unremmited Fund..P-Times by atlwireles: 8:46pm On Apr 27, 2015 |
LRNZH: You miss the point.
1. About 400,000 barrels per day is being illegally bunkered by Tompolo (& co) under NIMASA and this is about $10 - $12 Billion not accounted for in the $70Billion you quote.
2. NNPC was asked to refund a minimum of $1.48 Billion after just a glance at their books by PwC. A thorough audit will reveal massive rot which will be plugged by GMB's gov't. You cannot pretend not to see the massive scale of corruption going under GEJ's nose.
3. If you think $10Billion is a joke, take a look at this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/2067016/photos-10-billion-us-dollars Hold your peace till May 29. You will then offer Nigerians all these billions you are pulling from the air. Remember free food for your poverty stricken children, N5,000 for the lazy crowd and the list goes on. Keep finding all these billions you will need every kobo. |
Politics › Re: Jonathan To Buhari, I Am Ready For Probe. by atlwireles: 8:42pm On Apr 27, 2015 |
hansad: And Buhari/Sanusi will jail Jonathan, no heavens can fall, if Jonathan does not tackle Buhari well now.
Jonathan's response should have been that Buhari ought to be the first to be probed, Buhari being the first ever officer to be accused of stealing money from Petroleum proceeds. Who expected OBJ to truly probe his northern mentors?
But is Jonathan a politician? Worse, Jonathan will be respected by Buhari but have those who served under Jonathan thrown into jail.
And Jonathan may not be bothered over that because he might not understand the implications;
the same manner Jonathan failed to understand the ugly implication of leaving an old, most vindictive and semi-literate person behind him as Nigeria's president in the 21st century in Nigeria flowing with large numbers of young, healthy, well-educated people. Nigeria's young people voted for Buhari, why is that Jonathan's problem. They wanted changed, let them come and enjoy their change. Jonathan is going home to chill, Nigerians are about to received their blessings from Buhari. |
