Chuky7: So this is about the time most students in either final or third year are to carry out their IT some call it internship(I think we borrowed that from the whites)
So in short where did you do yours and what was your experience like was it bad. a positive one. or somewhere in between. Did you really learn anything from it at all. During my time Some people found it hard to find a place that would take them so they just gave up and formulated stuff for their defense(was funny but you wouldn't blame them most small firms dont have IT programs in place)
Some didn't get paid after being told they would and ended their own there.
most people were promised jobs. some did hire and retain during my time.
Many many talk. still it was a blast. part of life's experience. connected with some amazing people.
MY OWN EXPERIENCE Well I did mine in a small marine firm at port Harcourt they were small but money they were pulling in was no joke. perks were amazing. they paid 40k for 6 months. I saved as much as I could.
Had an amazing boss. guy no get wahala he knew how to impart knowledge. connected with a lot of pretty co workers after IT reunion with them was the bomb. we shared a lot of ideas though.
so what about you.
please share yours
FAAN MAKIA kano, no pay for 4months but it was interesting

samfelly: Let me first of all tag those whose steps I am following;
Although, Netvaluefx was the first person that I saw who did it in his challenge and I mentioned to him I will do something like dis with $24 to $1,000.
But, unfortunately, I blew that $24, in less than 2 weeks.
Recently, when I saw Zamanda's $50 to $5,000 challenge (though not yet started, just his post), who, ironically, drew his inspiration from Netvaluefx's recent challenge, also. I decided dis is a good one too. So, instead of my former $24 to $1,000 spoken goal to Netvaluefx, I will be using $50, thus the amount deposited today (pictures attached).
Trading starts on the 1st of September, 2021.

Medicine or medical related courses are the most sacred or promising in Nigerian universities due to the influence and belief that those who graduate from such departments will be among the wealthy in Nigeria.
Every typical Nigerian parent want to answer mama or papa doctor. In fact those of us who were not in medical department were made to feel inferior to those in medical department because of the privilege or high salary or how better Nigeria treats them.
However, things have fallen apart. The doctors have been subjected to humiliation and maltreatment to the extent they now run away to other countries for greener pastures even to extreme Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia due to bad Treatment from Nigeria under Buhari.
My question is, If these sacred and most influential department is subjected to this ridicule and humiliating scenario, what will be the fate of those in other less attractive departments who still hopes on government for employment.
