Travel / Re: Ibom Air Records 300,000 Passengers In One Year by aurora(f): 1:35pm On Dec 06, 2020 |
NtoAkwaIbom: It is a pity that you would use this platform to spew outright lies, especially when it is obvious you know nothing about Ibom Air. Mention one "rich elite" that flies Ibom Air for free. Do you know how many Akwa Ibom families, Nigerian citizens are benefitting from the existence of this airline? Do you know how many families in other states are benefitting from the employment generated by Ibom Air's expansion to other routes outside Akwa Ibom where they operate from? Do you think the 7.2b generated in the write up above came about from flying your "rich elites" for free? Stop displaying your crass stupidity. It stinks. 3 Likes |

Politics / Re: How Akpabio Was Rigged Out — Oshiomhole by aurora(f): 9:25am On Mar 01, 2019 |
Adams Oshiomole must be trying to console his partner in crime over his ouster or is being deliberately obtuse about the APC situation in Akwa Ibom. Even Godswill Akpabio himself knows he was roundly rejected by the people at the just concluded polls. There was no need for the state's ruling party to rig him out. The Akwa Ibom people gladly VOTED him out. His narcissism, god complex, prideful and devisive utterances against Akwa Ibomites after decamping to save himself from the EFCC, his massively corrupt and violence ridden terms as Governor, his plan to provide land in Akwa Ibom for herdsmen to ranch as outlined in his leaked letter to Buhari, his wife's brazen confrontation and embarrassment of the current Governor's wife during the reception ceremony of the First Lady Aisha Buhari at the airport; these are just a few of the things that did him in. Someone who was shamelessly going about before the results were announced at INEC Uyo to beg key PDP stalwarts in the state to alter the results in his favour, his reason being that he and by extension Akwa Ibom state was promised the Senate Presidency? It took the no-nonsense INEC REC Mike Igini, who stood his ground by insisting that the people's votes must count, to end his awkward and painfully embarrassing drama at INEC Office Uyo, effectively putting him in the basket of political oblivion. |

Fashion / Re: Shea Butter(0ri) by aurora(f): 5:28pm On Dec 28, 2013 |
Pure, unadulterated Shea Butter is really awesome for my skin. I experienced skin darkening some months back while using shea butter as a result of over - exposure to the sun. So I mixed my shea butter with Neutrogena Sunblock SPF 45 and some Vit E for daily use. No more darkening My skin is just awesome! 1 Like |

Family / Re: Should Married People Have Access To Each-Other’s Phones? by aurora(f): 6:09pm On Nov 11, 2013 |
I believe relationships and marriages are meant to be for mature adults who have a purposeful love, value and respect for each other. With this foundation in place, there really shouldn‘t be any secrets, no hiding ish from each other. It‘s just very sad that some people justify their lack of the above values by crying “privacy“. The rubbish a lot of folks keep perpetuating via locked mobiles just makes me wonder what kind of generation we live in. Those that live double lives, cheat on their partners, live sleazy lifestyles and commit all sorts of atrocities are usually the ones that cry “privacy“ the loudest. There ought no be no secrets between partners and spouses |
Science/Technology / Re: Live Updates On Today's Solar Eclipse by aurora(f): 1:43pm On Nov 03, 2013 |
joeydozzy: All these human beings uploading pictures of clouds, ehn Lol, I totally agree with you. Here in Uyo, the eclipse is visible. For those who can‘t see it, try looking at the reflection of the sun over a bowl of water while wearing shades to protect ur eyes from the sun‘s intensity. Please, don‘t expect “Egypt-style darkness“. |
Fashion / Re: Skin Darkening Soap Or Cream by aurora(f): 8:12pm On Dec 10, 2012 |
You are welcome. Patiently stick to using it till your complexion returns to normal. They are natural products and don‘t work in the twinkle of an eye. |

Romance / Cheating Partner: Do I Confront Him Or Walk Away? by aurora(f): 10:55am On Nov 01, 2012 |
Hi Nairalanders! Need some candid advice. I‘ve been dating this guy for 2 years though we‘ve lived in different cities in the last one year. He invited me to visit him and I did. While there last weekend he told me his mum was coming to visit and asked me to give him some space which I did. I‘m not prone to suspicion but I thought it would be an opportunity to meet her and seeing that his sister is married and stays in the same city, I wondered why his “mum“ would chose to stay at his place, so before leaving I set up an app on my phone to record whatever was going on in my absence. When I returned later, I found out that his “mum“ was actually another girl. Right now I‘m thinking of confronting him about his lie or just walking away and never looking back. What do I do? |
Travel / Re: Pls How May I Deliver My Sponsorship Letter to airlines. by aurora(f): 11:57am On May 04, 2012 |
You can personally deliver them at their various head offices but I suggest you meet with the Station Manager of each of those airlines first and discuss your business so that you can get assistance and clarification on the right person to address the sponsorship letters to. All the best! |
Business / Re: Employee Verification And Criminal Record Verification by aurora(f): 7:45pm On Apr 18, 2012 |
You could try using the services of a credible law firm. I understand some of them have or know detectives they engage in matters like these. |
Romance / Re: You Ever Had A Crush On Your Teacher? by aurora(f): 7:04pm On Apr 18, 2012 |
I had this HUGE crush on our chapel priest way back in QC. He was young, tall, dark, had fine well shaped lips and looked exactly like Will Smith back in the day. Every Sunday I would skip the Protestant service for non-Catholic students and go to mass with the Catholic girls in my dorm, tightly clutching a borrowed rosary i didn‘t know how to use. Kneeling and having him place ash on my forehead was an unforgettable experience for my hormone-driven 15 year old self and more than half the school population that had suddenly become new Catholic converts. He left us all hot and bothered. Even some muslim students weren‘t left out! The worst part was that he was totally oblivious to all the female attention. I wonder where he is now? |
Religion / Re: Why Is Christian Dating So Difficult? by aurora(f): 1:54pm On Nov 28, 2006 |
I agree with bolarge's input on the issue. I just wanna say that it's a beautiful thing to be in a relationship with all the right values and attitudes. And i believe that " Christian Dating " offers an excellent platform for developing the right mindset which would prove invaluable in marriage and family life when practised with some of the points he's outlined. |
