The communication from the network support team is that some Samsung 5G devices and all iphones from 12 to 13 which are 5G compatible aren't getting the 5G reception at the moment but that will be resolved soon. I know people with S21 ultra that are not getting the reception even up till now.

That’s fine boss. No P. It’s very possible that some devices haven’t gotten the 5G, but the few models around me in my vicinity around Mushin and Akoka, we’ve been getting it steady.

S22 ultra. I've been getting it from the very first day it got launched. Remember it's not everywhere in Lagos, so if you aren't where it's available, you will not get it.

But yeah, Samsung devices (at least the 22 ultra I know of oh) are getting it.

This is not true. MTN 5G is widely available in Abuja and Lagos as we speak. Did a few speed test using a Nokia x10 even in a location where MTN hasn't even deployed a 5G base station, yet got 496mbps.

MTN is still currently in talks with Apple and Samsung as their devices are not getting the 5G signal. However, if you have a Nokia, Infinix, Tecno, Xiaomi, Oneplus or Oppo 5G device and in a 5G location, you will be getting the 5G signal on your device using a 4G sim.

Cap. Samsung is getting it very well. Too well sef.

Besides, A52 that came before the phone is still available at retail stores. I wonder why this particular model of phone is scarce this way.

Retailers are not even helping matters in anywhere.
Some said it's because of the lack of 5g as I mentioned earlier that is making the phone not to be available,
while the rest said the phone stopped at India and not globally

I feel you bro, but even that your Redmi doesn't qualify for a top tier android when it comes to pictures sha. Gaming, everyday functions, it will very good and smooth. Cameras? Not so much. The iPhone will give you crappy pictures sometimes. Take from someone that uses both on a steady. Sometimes the HDR is just useless and you have to take it again to achieve what you want.

And iphone pictures always have this tint I can't describe to them. Very annoying.

It’s available, but you might not be able to get it a retail stores as the A53 is out already. And there’s 5G oh lol. No dey downgrade us like that.
