Hypocrisy is when you are involved in the same sin with someone else and you relegate your own sin and focus on the other's. The greatest man to fear is the man who is both an illiterate, a fanatic and a tribal bigot or racist at the same time. He can do and undo.

There is nothing absolutely wrong with probing the source of these monies, these were huge sums dont forget. If its proven that they breached no laws in soircing or raising these funds they shud be let of.

For the record, APC also spent some outlandish sum on their campaign, no law in the land stops any one or entity having evidence against APC's sources of campaign funds to report same to the relevant authorities for action.

FFK shud be probed thoroughly, his constant reference to 'them' (PDP) raising these monies smarks of vain attempt to absolve himself of any blame.

OP, if u are not that bouyant why not go for corolla thats less expensive to maintain? Afterall, it can serve all listed purposes and has good second hand value. The lexus are a status/luxury range of cars and their parts are relatively more expensive than corolla's.

Summary: since u are buying for efficiency and not status go for a corolla.

Personally.. I feel it's unfair to criticise a bank that went this far to resolve your issue. First Bank should have been able to assist further based on their KYC scheme.
I'm surprised to see harsh comments from previous posters about the bank because since I started using UBA in 2012, I've witnessed significant improvement in customer service.

Majority of the banks in Naija are the same in the aspect of refusal to cooperate with fellow banks in fraud investigations.

1.Write to customer complaint unit of CBN narrate ur ordeal and attach whatever evidence u hav

2. Get a lawyer to write UBA giving them 14 days to refund ur money or be prepared to face legal action

The fraudsters must have gotten hold of your ATM details or internet banking details.... Or probably an insider must have been part of the scam as to how did they get to know her phone number...

Most bank frauds where the scammer is able to correctly identify the victim in terms of personal and account details usually involve an insider, mark my word!

The scammer gave u an invalid/ unrecognized OTP which to use will require ur existing account password which is just what the scammer is looking for. Its very sad.

On the issue of scammers getting access to account holders' details, the Banks' staff to a large extent hav a hand in that. Cos it will be difficult for an outsider to hav access to ur full account details including ur BVN status, think about it!
Bottom line, never disclose ur personal account details like username and passwords to strangers.
