Anything short of having a single alliance against APC will simply make APC win 2019/election but God forbid. That's the simple truth. I advice this third force to merge with PDP. Its clear PDP already has a structure and will surely win many states in 2019. Many states in the north will vote APC no matter how bad we all know they have performed. PDP will win many states in the south. All that the third force need to do is to merge with PDP and let PDP select very credible candidate. That candidate will pull some states in the middle belt. That's all.

In one sentence, PDP should come back by hook or by crook to finish off Nigeria.

When the court said they lack the power to suspend their colleagues, the court was right because they arent the ones that employed the colleague but however, what you didnt understand is what the court did not say which is still to be considered and that is that however they handle their case, suspending wasnt the way to go. THE COURT INVALIDATED THE SUSPENSION BUT DIDNT MENTION A COMPULSORY REINSTATEMENT because senate standing rules are decided by the house themselves. They treat their own the way they deem it fit and that is as agreed by themselves since the beginnibg if the 8th senate. So they still can do anything with their own. It doesnt imply they will deny that colleague access to the chambers but when it comes to affluence and contributions in plenary, that colleague is inconsequential. His own vote is no vote. He cant perform oversight functions as delegated by the assembly. Ofcourse it may not affect pay but it sure does on reputation and affluence on pertinent issues and the courts cannot decide that. Its not sentimental talk but the interpretation of Law but thats that whether you accept it or not.

To the IG cases, i have said it again and again, no excuse can justify the IG actions. You may not see anything wrong today but when you support actions like this, then you put the future at risk. Making NASS issues about Saraki and Dogora will only mislead people like you to wrecking an institution that characterize a democratic nation. Thats democracy insulted and raped. Even if Mr President can still revert to the NASS to explain some actions as done on the tuscano purchase, budget matters or even appointment, then why cant a mere IG come do his own explanations. Afterall, its not like the senate will send him to jail! Avoiding the senate only makes his principal look stupid and murder his ambitions.

Am not really surprise, he even disobeys presidential orders but that in itself is rubbish. If Buhari allows the Presidency be ridiculed, nigerians shouldnt tolerate that to the national assembly. We need to strengthen our institutions. We need to respect the offices we give as a people. A good institution breed strong systems and strong systems results in a vibrant economy. Good and bad people may occupy those offices but a strong institution will always regulate them and if you continue to encourage such acts of impunity, then i dont see nigeria moving forward.

I don't think this is true. You may have watched that fake video of 2 guys shaking a gas cylinder and it exploded. It was an edited video and nothing more. There are alot of taxis over here that use gas cylinder as their fuel, if what you said is true, there should be alot more explosion in this country than anywhere in the world because cars are constantly in vibration while in motion, not to mention when they enter bad roads.

I watched that video and I knew immediately that it was a made up video. How many retailers had suffered explosion in Nigeria due to shaking of the gas cylinders because, that's what they do all the time?

The officers showed a LOT of restraint. The man was huge, advancing towards the officers, shouting, and clearly in the throes of a psychotic episode, so he is EXTREMELY lucky that he did not get shot full of holes during that tense encounter.

The number one rule when confronted by police is to COMPLY with their orders, or possibly die from their bullets, for resisting arrest. It is just idiotic to try and fight the police in ANY country, least of all the USA, and ESPECIALLY if one is of the black persuasion.

JCPOA stopped Iran from continuing with her uranium enrichment programme under the pretense that it was simply for nuclear energy and not for nuclear bombs. JCPOA was a comprehensive plan to supply Iran the materials needed for nuclear energy instead enriching it themselves which would have given Iran the opportunity to have byproduct needed for making nuclear bombs.
This cancellation by Trump will likely make Iran restart the programme and start reactivating their decommissioned plants. That's why Obama said this below:
