PoliticsRe: Minimum Wage: NLC Threatens A Month Shutdown As Lawmakers Target Fresh Decision by aviara: 4:20pm On Jul 16, 2024
The Tinubu remember that some states are not yet paying the current minimum wage when he removed fuel subsidy and increased tariff of electricity and introduced new levies?

These wicked leaders will soon pay for their wickedness
PoliticsRe: Minimum Wage: NLC Threatens A Month Shutdown As Lawmakers Target Fresh Decision by aviara: 4:17pm On Jul 16, 2024
FG and state governors keep collecting bogus loans with nothing to show for it. We say No to scrapping of minimum wage through fraudulently delisting it from exclusive to concurrent list. This will only be acceptable if each senator also agrees to collect the same minimum wage applicable in their respective state
PoliticsRe: Minimum Wage: NLC Threatens A Month Shutdown As Lawmakers Target Fresh Decision by aviara: 4:14pm On Jul 16, 2024
APC is such a miserable party with miserable self serving politicians. Their cup will get full very soon.

PoliticsRe: We Have Done Well, Nigerians Will Soon Jubilate – APC Governors by aviara: 9:52am On Jul 09, 2024
In the midst of suffering and hunger, APC government still believe they are doing very well.

Anybody who campaigns or support APC come 2027 should have his head examined
PoliticsRe: Nze Chidi Duru: Nigerians Will Re-Elect Tinubu In 2027 by aviara: 10:18am On Jul 07, 2024
I will be surprised if Tinubu doesn't win his re-election because that seems to be the only thing he knows how to do best but when it comes to governance and building an economy he has nothing to offer
PoliticsRe: Why I Founded Yoruba Party In UK - Dr Olusola Oni by aviara: 3:26pm On Jul 06, 2024
Ofemannnu:
I think it is a smart thing just for the popularity of their cause.
If you want to promote Yoruba culture then you form a socio cultural organisation. A political party is essentially to seek political power for the good of society.

This was a wrong strategy that is why you came a distance last at the polls. Tribalism destroys any multicultural society. Pls don't pollute the UK like Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Man Loses On Yoruba Party Election In Peckham UK by aviara: 4:40pm On Jul 05, 2024
Dirty politics is accommodated as a moral virtue in your a culture. This is the reason why Tilubu is celebrated in Lagos by his tribesmen.

I have lived in Lagos so I know them in and out
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Man Loses On Yoruba Party Election In Peckham UK by aviara: 4:37pm On Jul 05, 2024
You guys should not try to change the issue under consideration which is naming.a political party by a particular tribe. It is wrong and should be condemned.

Any candidate irrespective of his tribe can contest election based on experience and competence. Ethnicity shouldn't be on the card. So if 100 Yoruba people win is not anybody's problem.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Man Loses On Yoruba Party Election In Peckham UK by aviara: 4:32pm On Jul 05, 2024
Imagine if the Yoruba party have won the election. They would have bombarded this trend to show that they are the smartest politically globally.

Anything that massages their ethnic ego gives them maximum pleasure.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Man Loses On Yoruba Party Election In Peckham UK by aviara: 4:27pm On Jul 05, 2024
Even their elite such as Wole Soyinka and co. are highly and deeply rooted in bigotry.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Man Loses On Yoruba Party Election In Peckham UK by aviara: 4:24pm On Jul 05, 2024
The guy must have been told Yoruba are the majority in Peckham so the bigot wanted to catch on the Yoruba majority to win the election. Sadly he came out second to the last.

The reason is simple, majority of yorubas in that county were born there and as such don't have the primitive ethnic sentiment of the average Yoruba person back home.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Man Loses On Yoruba Party Election In Peckham UK by aviara: 4:12pm On Jul 05, 2024
Someone needs to write a petition against the party name as it stands to introduce ethnic division into UK politics which has potential to create political tension in future election.

They should be forced to change the party name to something more reasonable and inclusive.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Man Loses On Yoruba Party Election In Peckham UK by aviara: 4:09pm On Jul 05, 2024
tojahh:
Naming it Yoruba party only calls for sentimental votes. This is tribal to say the least. He doesn't care about the people of peckham, he thinks he's still in Ogbomosho where he only represents a minor set of people.

Just form a party in Lagos and Name is IGBO party and watch how everyone on that party will be crucified even if they made Wole Soyinka Chairman of the party and chose Saheed Osupa as their Governorship candidate. grin
They don't hide their tribalism even in their dream or abroad. It's innate and deeply rooted in their culture ( it's called TINWA TINWA).

This is the reason they would ignore a competent candidate and support an empty brain so long as it satisfied their ethnic sentiment.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Man Loses On Yoruba Party Election In Peckham UK by aviara: 4:05pm On Jul 05, 2024
Party names usually reflect what the party stands for and represents.

There are countless credible names to Christine a party such as :

Wisdom party
Light party
Labour party
Virtue party
Progress party
Visionary party
Competent party etc

Yoruba party is absurd and shows the narrowness of the promoters of that party.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Man Loses On Yoruba Party Election In Peckham UK by aviara: 4:01pm On Jul 05, 2024
aviara:
It's a bad precedent to export primitive tribal sentiment from Africa to the UK. What could have been the possible reason naming a party after a particular tribe if it isn't to get sentiment votes based on tribe.

Even if it's Indian party or Calabar party, it will still be a thousand times very wrong.
Maybe he would have won if he had mobilised thugs to snatch ballot boxes and paid voters £10 each as their political masters do back home.

Nonsense

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Announces Injection Of ₦‎2 Trillion Into Economy For Stabilisation by aviara: 6:35am On Jul 05, 2024
Where is the 2 trillion naira coming from? I hope this government is not printing new naira notes like hurricane Buhari did that has affected the value of the naira and caused hyper inflation.
PoliticsRe: LGBT: Knocks As Nigeria Signs $150 Billion Samoa Deal by aviara: 10:29am On Jul 04, 2024
Fiscus105:
Is homosexuality not everywhere in Nigeria?

"You guys like to be living in self denial", the same way someone advocating for medicinal canabis, in which everyone is attacking and criticising him. Yet,70% of teenagers, plus larger percentage of adult are taking it freely.
You mean 70% of your family and village people abi. God save your oerverted soul and generation.
PoliticsRe: LGBT: Knocks As Nigeria Signs $150 Billion Samoa Deal by aviara: 10:27am On Jul 04, 2024
Tilubu can sign anything so long it will give him access to funds to loot. Our values and law is totally against LGBT
PoliticsRe: Appeal Court To Deliver Ruling On Rivers Assembly Speakership Tomorrow by aviara: 9:14am On Jul 04, 2024
Last week, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu led some senators to Rivers to advise Fubara to accept whatever be the outcome of the court hearing in the case in Rivers state.

Few days ago Wike put up a public dance.

I hope it's not what I am thinking?
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo: I Didn’t Discuss Nnamdi Kanu’s Release With South East Governors by aviara: 5:33pm On Jul 03, 2024
Obasanjo was at Aso rock recently to see RAT (Remi Ahmed Tinubu) and now Obasanjo is meeting with SE governors which I consider first of its kind.

I hope Obasanjo is not indirectly seeking to get the support of SE governors for BAT 2027 election to spite Atiku once again
AgricultureRe: 30% Poultry Farms Shut Down In Six Months – PAN by aviara: 4:09pm On Jul 03, 2024
APC is evil
Tinubu is helpless
His policies are guess work

The masses are hungry and wailing
His kinsmen and cronies are looting
Some BATERIANS are defending
Gradually tension is building

Big multi nationals are exiting
Small scale businesses are shutting down
Mr Dangote the most smart businessman in
Africa is lamenting
Everything is just about to collapse

Was T I N U B U really the B E S T man for the job?
AgricultureRe: 30% Poultry Farms Shut Down In Six Months – PAN by aviara: 3:56pm On Jul 03, 2024
Tinubu mandate is at work shutting down businesses.

T I N U B U the O V E R- R A T E D president of Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: President Tinubu Approves New Withholding Tax Policy by aviara: 1:58pm On Jul 02, 2024
Until price of fuel returns to N200, bag of rice to N21k and dollar rate to N500 Tinubu's government won't be taken seriously by majority of Nigerians. No long epistle and grammar can solve the hunger and quagmire in the country.
PoliticsRe: President Tinubu Approves New Withholding Tax Policy by aviara: 1:03pm On Jul 02, 2024
If the price of fuel does not go back to N200 per litre there is no grammar from Tinubu that will make any meaning to Nigerians.
PoliticsRe: President Tinubu Approves New Withholding Tax Policy by aviara: 1:01pm On Jul 02, 2024
phemray:
Thanks you acknowledge the Lagos magic and the reason Lagos is far ahead of others. Now Lagos was faster then because everyone supported his bold idea except few opposition. Nigeria is bigger with many factors Like Languages, religion, cultural beliefs and ethnicity to be considered before making conclusions on like Lagos. But in all we will get there. So, If Obi is the president, pls which reform was implemented in Anambra then that can be replicated at national level? Someone that never built a single production hub or encouraged other to do so instead of going to chaina is now shouting consumption/production which he knows nothing about. Check how many companies, industries and business were facilitated by jagaban. Dangote refinery, Erron, econet BUA, and many more productive industries network are among Jagaban influence.
I am so glad that Tinubu is the president of Nigeria now because it's now clear to all and sundry (except empty heads like....) that Tinubu was O V E R -R A T E D.
PoliticsRe: President Tinubu Approves New Withholding Tax Policy by aviara: 12:57pm On Jul 02, 2024
Most Nigerians have lost faith and confidence in Tinubu's government and his ability to turn things around. At this point, it doesn't matter how good the policy he is introducing now, Nigerians no longer trust him.

He should focus on how to use the power of incumbency to gain re-election else with the state of the nation he deserves to be kicked out of Aso villa ruthlessly.
