If you take your neighbour as your brother you won't be earning N200m per month and be telling your neighbour to manage N62k in the same country where we go to the same market. Akpabio, I hail thee! |
I hope AMBODE and other Lagos politicians are taking note of how to deal with Godfather ism. South south and south east have no time to asslick any godfather |

patrickmuf:My brother Wike is reaping what he has sown. During his tenure he equally appointed caretaker committees. It will interest you to know tha Undemocratic LGAs: 19 states run 433 councils with caretaker committee local councils N-East emerges best with 37 of 112 LGAs not under democracy N-West emerges worst with 115 of 186 LGAs affected S-East follows with 82 of 95 councils hit IN spite of efforts to deepen democracy in Nigeria, no fewer than 19 state governors are running their local councils with transition or caretaker committees. This is against the provisions of Section 7 of the 1999 Constitution (as amended), which guarantees the system of local government by democratically elected officials. From next month, the number of undemocratically administered LGAs may go higher as the tenures of council officers expire in Jigawa (June 1) and Rivers. Only 311 LGAs (41.8 per cent) across 17 states and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, have elected officers. Reasons cited for the inability of many states to conduct council polls include insecurity, paucity of funds, political and legal battles. |
AMBODE and real Lagosians who are reading and willing to break the control of Tinubu in Lagos should go and learn from Fubara and Obaseki |
Putindbutt:You sound so dumb ignoring all economic indices that clearly shows your darling Tinubu is nothing but a disaster. Who would ever believe Buhari would be better than Tinubu? |
NyamiriSlayer:You guys are full of insults but keep accusing Obidients of same. |
Labour should shut down airports, seaports, banks, electrical power stations etc Those saying essential services should be allowed to work, my question to them is for them to tell me if essential workers are not affected by the inflation rate. Even before now medical doctors have gone on strike severally and it wasn't seen as a crime because it's within their rights to protest to press home their demands. |
Labour should be bold enough to continue the industrial strike if government fails to come up with any amount less than 100k. After now the next strike should target a downward review of elected and appointed political office holders. They all must be paid according to civil servant payment structure |
What about the letter of defection written by each of the 27 members which was read on the floor of the assembly. Is that not enough proof of their defection? This judgement can not stand |
Concerning the hardship in the country, the following people are not talking as we use to know them speak truth to power in previous administrations: 1. Wole Soyinka is not talking 2. Pastor Tunde Bakare is quiet 3. Bode George said Buhari caused the current mess and that Tinubu needs more time 4. Doyin Okukpe said Tinubu is the best candidate A F O N J A S, be very careful around them because they are hypocrites, betrayals and highly sentimental. |
I pray God heals Doyin Okukpe to be alive to see Atiku or Peter Obi presidency. If his present ailment is as a result of his role in putting Nigeria in the current mess, God should please forgive him. Betrayal is not all about politics, it shows our value system. |
Betrayal in their culture is a flavour of wisdom, I think their ancestors is the father of lies and deceit. |
soccerlite:Keep supporting the failure who Buhari is far better than with the present outlook of things. I hope you won't sell your kids to feed yourself. Tinubu doesn't have what it takes to win election without playing dirty. |
People like Doyin Okukpe and Bide George shows the ilk of the region they represent. With the glaring failure if Tinubu administration Doyin Okukpe has the effontery to tell over 200 million Nigerians that Tinubu is the best candidate amongst other candidate like Atiku and Peter Obi. This is an insult on our collective sensibility Bode George said if Tinubu becomes president of Nigeria he would go on self exile. But I heard on TV yesterday symthising on behalf of Tinubu asking us to give him more time to perform. A F O N J A never disappoint. Be careful if you have them around you |
It is becoming obvious that Tinubu used Doyin Okukpe and others to deceive Peter Obi to run on Labour party platform and provided the funds in a bid to split PDP votes. Wike and the G5 governors were also used to achieve the Tinubu presidency. Tilubu is a cheat and plays dirty politics all the time. It's not surprising seeing Doyin Okukpe who promoted Peter Obi in 2023 election saying Tinubu was the best candidate just a year after. At his age he keeps deceiving himself and everyone around. What a shame. |
Never trust a Yoruba politician they are mostly ethnically bias. This man speaking is only sympathetic towards Tinubu and fear a collabo between Obi and Atiku will boot out Tinubu from Aso rock. When I heard one of Peter Obi spokesperson from southwest, I was convinced these people can never change. Despite Tinubu's obvious failure they still want to be re-elected |
Peter Obi should step down for Atiku. With south east , south south votes and block northern votes Tinubu will be kicked out of Aso rock because he is not competent to occupy that seat. Atiku has the experience, capacity, intellectual, network to steer the economy in the right direction. He did it during Obasanjo regime and can do it again. Say no to C L U E L E S S N E S S Say no to T I N U B U |
EMILOKAN after claiming to have stopped fuel subsidy and defending the naira is still paying fuel subsidy and borrowing to defend the naira. It's obvious he doesn't know what he is doing. CONFUSED president. |
Tinubu should R E S I G N
|
Amala people would prefer to hate on Peter Obi even if he has the magic wand to rescue Nigeria. They prefer to re-elect a total failure who has brought poverty and starvation to Nigerians. If Obi decides to be running mate to Atiku, they will suddenly prefer Peter Obi and transfer the hate to Atiku. Amala people hate to see other region outperform them. |
It's high time we resist all this bogus remuneration for political office holders and appointees until it is at par with the equivalent of civil servants. How is the special assistant job more important than a school teacher who earns less than 100k? |
I WANT TO BE PRESIDENT DRIVE ME THERE EMILOKAN Ambition without a vision has created inflation and economic confusion. |
Tinubu must have thought governance is just about taxing the people heavily and extorting them through multiple taxation. He failed to see the big picture that is why his govt is failing. It is not a bad idea for Tinubu to resign because obviously he and his team are overwhelmed. |
Fake activist like Woke Soyinka have lost his voice because he is an ethnic bigot hiding under outdated 1970 English. |
He didn't tell us why both of them issued contradictory statements. Who was authorised to make such comments. Personal respect for Onanuga is one thing and the fact that he goofed which you rightly corrected is another thing. Keep up the good work and don't spare Bayo next time until he behaves himself properly |
This government must be brought to its knees. Tinubu should RESIGN because he doesn't have what it takes to govern and steer the ship of the Nigerian state in the right direction and his policies lacks human face. |
oyeb15:Tinubu prides himself as a master in revenue generation but the simple truth of the IGR of Lagos is that a good part of it is through EXTORTION. This is the model he wants to replicate at the national level that has brought untold hardship, crazy inflationary trend and misery to millions of Nigerians TINUBU should RESIGN to save himself from further embarrassment |
Recall that Tinubu during the campaigns boasted that he will go ahead with his economic reforms despite the impact on the citizens. He said even if they strike for a long period, that won't make him give in to their demands. This strike should ground this govt until it comes to term with reality and do the bidding of the people. I think democracy should be about the people. |
Must an elected president complete his 4 years tenure even if it is apparently visible to the blind that his govt his conspicuously failing and bringing untold hardship on Nigerians. Why aren't we pushing for him to resign from office and let a more competent person take over. Di we have to wait until everything collapsed eventually? Tinubu should pleased resign to save him further embarrassment. |
Tinubu and his economic team didn't evisage the effect of their policies on both macro and micro economic activities. Politics is different from governance. With politics you can rig or use violence to seize power but governance requires real intellectual prowess not propaganda. Atiku is a master on economic matters and helped Obasanjo assembled the best economic team. Good luck Jonathan also had a fantastic economic team. Statistical records are there to show how well they managed the economy. |
This man is a disappointment. Hold this old man responsible for all the sad news in Nigeria
