Just because Atiku and Peter Obi said they will remove subsidy, Tinubu didn't think twice before removing subsidy on the day of his inauguration.

What Tinubu failed to understand was the modalities and sequence of taking such drastic decision and the strategic buffers to put in place to cushion the effect on the economy.

People like Omisore will be proud to re-elect Tinubu for a second term in office even if all the people in his constituency are dying of hunger caused by bad government.

Ask a typical Yoruba man to choose a better candidate between Obasanjo and Tinubu, you will be shocked at their choice.

Many of them will denigrate Obasanjo because he is not ethnically sentimental. This is the reason yorubas hated OBJ. Yet, saner people know Obasanjo even in his old age now will do far better than the calamity presently occupying Aso rock.

The south west as a region is satisfied that Tinubu is president, it doesn't matter if he performs woefully. In their culture, politics is of higher value than morality.

It's been a year of hardship and wide spread suffering

Since this current useless government took over on May 29, 2023 prices of everything has gone up about 300% or more.

Room and parlour self contained that use to cost about 150k in Lagos now cost about 500k to rent. A tin of peak milk that use to cost about N300 is now about N900. Besides, govt is quick to introduce new taxes and increasing other tariffs. In the same vein the govt should be ready to increase minimum wage.

The 27 members of the Rivers state house of assembly individually and voluntarily wrote and signed their letter of defection and it was read on the floor of the house. As at the time of this defection there was no known division within the party.

The announcement of the PDP national headquarters can not change this fact.

I am waiting to hear Prof Woke Soyinka appraisal of this government. He said he can't say anything about Tinubu's govt until after one year of his administration. Let us see if he has the courage to denigrate this government like he did to previous govts. Soyinka has shown himself to be ethnically sentimental.
