PoliticsRe: What Do You Read? by awen(f): 7:49am On Oct 04, 2007
The leadership is read by people who think they run the country; the Punch is read by people who think they ought to run the country. Thisday is read by people who actually do run the country; the ovation is read by the wives of those who run the country. The BusinessDay is read by those who own the country, Daily triumph is read by those who think the country ought to be run by another country while the Sun is read by those who don’t give a hoot who runs the country as long as the interest of the Kalu’s are protected.
, and all Nigerian newspapers are owned by pple at the helm of affairs, distributed with the same information under different names to make more money, complied by pple who dont know anything about the country and politics or that are too scared to say the truth and sold by pple who need a means of survival in the country, oh Nigeria!."she sighs".i read the any available newspapers to know what is happening in the country even though it might not really b the truth.il wait for and buy the continent and we'll see if it will be different from the others.

I Aborted My Babi. My Gal Said I Disgust Her Since After That.

i am considering marrying this girl, but because i need the challenges i'm passing tru @ wok 2 calm. I decided to abort a 3wks old baby my girl had 4 me although she told me we could v kept the pregnancy. since then we don't relate well and she hardly comes to visit me,but still listens to me as a distant friend. i have strong feelings for this girl and has everything it takes to be an good wife, but it seems as if i am loosing her. what do i do?
i don't sympathize with you. dutch why did u post this?do u think it will rid your conscience of guilt and make feel better.no-it wont, both of you are at fault.Regardless of the circumstance, she has no right to act funny to you because you didn't rape her and you didn't force her to the operating table, she did it of her own free will. Even so,i believe that your love for her doesn't hold water because if 2people are truly, madly, deeply in love with each other, they will find a way.
you said that you are considering marrying her-
[li]that is so arrogant.do you think you are doing her a favor by marrying her? if she is a real woman without her, you will be incomplete.[/li]
[li]you are not even sure you want to marry her and that is why you would tell her to abort[/li]
.
you know what you are doing and d truth is,you will not get a good reason redeem your act.the solution is to ask God for forgiveness, ask your woman for forgiveness, give a gift to an orphanage on behalf of your unborn child, come to terms with it-forgive yourself and move on with life,
PoliticsRe: Chris Okotie (Fresh Party) For President In 2007? by awen(f): 3:54pm On Apr 21, 2007
I wonder what is wrong with this man of God.
First, he read Law, when it was time for him to go for Law school, he opted for Music and when the ovation was loud he dropped music and became a man of God, now is Presidency. I hope Pastor Chris knows exactly what he wants?
@kenflavor.
huh
At a point,he even experimented with writing. The guy might run himself down if he doesnt remain focused.
"One reason so few of us achieve what we truly want is that we never direct our focus;
we never concentrate our power. Most people dabble their way through life, never deciding to master anything in particular.”
- Anthony Robbins.

If Okotie becomes presient 2007,nigeria will become like her leader. For another 4years,we will do a lot of tryouts,if we are lucky we will achieve some.Morover, politics in Nigeria isnt child's play, its a jungle game played by characters like lions, alligators,Hippopo's,, i.e all animals with big mouths, big appetites and strong minds.
nuff said, let the sharpest guy rig and win but in all,may God help Nigerians, may God bless Nigeria.

Quote from: Jaybaba on March 22, 2007, 12:01 PM
Somewhere sometime, someone has to stand up for good. The only necessary condition for evil to prevail over good is for good men to do nothing.

Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. left his pastoral job to campaign against black segregation that was the order of the day in the US. Months later J.F. Kennedy won the election and began to implement the wishes of the human rights activist. We all remember Martin Luther King Jr. today for his message - I HAVE A DREAM.

The African Americans at the time realised however their problem and identified with Martin Luther though not en mass. Today, they are enjoying the fruits and benefit of a free nation.

CHRIS OKOTIE in Nigeria is a true picture of that scenario in our Nigeria of today. We are besot with a multitude of problems and one of them is CONSPIRACY against the Nigerian people. Today, Chris Okotie has gotten up to bring a positive change to this country and his conviction is LIVE and GENUINE. So many people do not believe and must not be forced to agree with him or we that believe in his FRESH vision for Nigeria.

But know one thing , All the other political parties in Nigeria are involved in the CONSPIRACY against Nigerians , the common people on the streets. Chris Okotie is a modern day preacher/political reformer. His being a clergyman is a plus and not a setback. We must stop supporting moneybags and identify with persons and a party that intends to bring true CHANGE.

OKOTIE, I support you and the FRESH Team where the people truly come first.
God bless you and God bless the party.
God bless Nigeria
I am sure you attend Okotie's church. shocked Open you eyes- that a butterfly flies doesnt make it a bird like the eagle. That Okotie stands on the church/clergy man platform doesnt make him a reformer like Martin Luther. For all we know, the platform could just be a farce,IF he wins the election, he will become the politician,
PoliticsRe: Your Own Description Of Nigeria ( Poll) by awen(f): 1:07am On Apr 20, 2007
Nigeria is a country without patriots.
Nigeria and its people can be classified thus: over a scale of 100%
6o% are those that should speak for the good of the people but they have their mouths& brains crammed with money.
15% are those who actually speak for the general good of the people but alas, their days are terminated with money
10% surprisingly are those who analyze Nigeria's problem.they are mostly seen arguing about politics.some usually have no money.they are the lawyers that never studied law.
5% are those who don't even know what is happening in Nigeria due to illiteracy, too much money,,
5% are the Unborn Children- God bless the future of Nigeria
The remaining 5% are for the few who still believe in a greater Nigeria but even some of them are being converted as i write.
