You people just throw baseless opinions around sinply for the sake that everyone is entitled to one. Whereas, in actuality, you don't have always to type or talk.

These lecturers are not given much ground in politics, the ones in politics are given a template of what they must and not do.

Well said.

Politics / Greater Nigeria Movement (g N M) Births In Ibadan by Awesome55(m): 8:45pm On Oct 29, 2021
GREATER NIGERIA MOVEMENT BIRTHS IN IBADAN AS AROWOLO DECLARES FOR NIGERIA PRESIDENCY

Ibadan, the South West political headquarters was agog on Monday when the Greater Nigeria Movement (GNM) openly revealed their strategies and drives to clinch the political power of the Nation through the ballot as the Co-Covener, Hon. Steve Arowolo declares his intent to occupy Aso Villa in 2023.

The Watershed venue of the declaration and press briefing was filled to the brim when members of the Greater Nigeria Movement across the ancient city gathered to show love for the Political movement of Hon. Steve Alaba Arowolo.

While speaking with the press, the young, articulate and vibrant young Nigerian who hailed from Ekiti State, Honourable Steve Alaba Arowolo said he's tired of the misrule in Nigeria in which his generation are being subjected to the recycling of the same class of politicians when it comes to the leadership position. According to him, that is one of the reasons Nigeria is not progressing.

Arowolo who is in his 40's however stated that he is correcting the impression that only a particular set of people should be ruling in a Nation of over 200million people with high percentage of youth. He said he is in Ibadan to ask for support in bringing to reality his dream of empowering the Nation through collaborative efforts.

While rolling out his plans for the Nation, he said he will create Old People's Homes in all the 774 Local Government Areas.
Arowolo who had spent years abroad said he's back home to partner the grass root to build a better and greater Nigeria.

According to him, " Security challenges can be won through engagement with the people, quality of inclusion. My policy on green economy will create jobs for the youth. I will use our digital economy policy to drive governance and fight corruption to the minimal. I am creating a 'ministry of the future' that will think ahead for the Nation in policy formation and planning" he said.

Arowolo while reacting to the statement by Gov. Yaya Bello of Kogi State, said "Governor Yaya Bello is deceptive in his statement that he will fix Nigeria in 365 days". He however charged politicians to be truthful in their statement to the public. He encouraged the people to get to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) ready as that is the only weapon they can use to fight for their rights.

In his earlier address, the National Chairman of Greater Nigeria Movement, Honourable Aremu Olayiwola, who described himself as an experienced politician to the core said the movement is a collection of people to support the Arowolo's 2023 presidential ambition.

The Ibadan born Olayiwola who said he has traveled round the world and have experienced better economy policies said Nigeria can only be greater when we have a change of mentality towards leadership by supporting viable candidates and saying no to stolen funds.

In his words, "GNM still in its registration stage as a political party, is a collaboration of concern Nigerians with the diasporas spread across the world to change the narrative and make a better Nation. We can get better policing to improve our security, accessible medical care, great educational facilities and policies, and a corruption free environment by supporting the right Candidature in Arowolo". He further reinstated his confidence and trust that he will deliver on his promises to the people.

The press briefing was well attended by members of GNM across Ibadan city as well as members of the media.

Chapter 7
After covering several meters, we reached the second gate and stood transfixed, comtemplating on what to do when an idea popped into my brain. I immediately adjusted my infrared binoculars, switched on the infrared light for me to see what's happening inside, (the infrared binoculars can penetrates any wall less than 4ft thick). The compound seems empty with the image given by the binoculars. I readjusted my pistol, fixed in silencer at the tip to muffle the sound. I opened the gate silently making the gate to give a low creaky sound while we wait a little to see if there will be any movement or if we could see a showdow but there was none so we walked in with my pistol leading the way. Abeeb and I went inside quickly, closed the gate back with the same low creaky sound made by the gate and dodged behind a very big container at the entrance while we quickly surveyed the surroundings with our military trained eyes. We spotted some men at the far corner of the compound chatting over a drink oblivious of the intruder in the compound. Since our pistol have been silenced, we sent various shot towards killing all of them at once. I told Abeeb to pass through the back door while I passed through the front door. I put my pistol back into the waist hostler and hung the banana sized Ak47 rifle, ready for some actions. Walking steathily towards the front door. I opened the door, entered and was welcomed with a well furnished sitting room. I was admiring the beautiful interior decor of the sitting room when I noticed a shadow is coming towards the sitting room. I quickly ducked behind a three seater couch at the right hand side of the sitting room close to the entrance door. Then, a heavily built man with muscles bulging out of his skin who owns the shadow I saw earlier came into view holding a mug cup with his left hand and whitsling happily as if he has no worries. Ofcourse, he has no worries.

Seeing the man, I unleashed my commando knife from the utility belt strapped at my waist which held my knives and threw one at him. I would have engaged him in a fight but I didn't want to cause unneccessary attraction from other members that might be inside and I also want to save my strenght for Shekau. Before the man could notice anything, the knife thrusted into his neck slicing his throat into two and he fell down dead. Easier than I thought. I advanced towards the passage the man came out from looking for Shekau's room because the building housed the top agents. As I was going, I saw a room opened widely, peeped into it and noticed that it was a toilet with a man heavily built as well due to several session of gyming urinating into the w/c turning his back to the entrance where I was. I tiptoed to where he was, slammed his head on the w/c breaking the w/c immediately. Before he could recover, I gave him a powerful spinning kick which sent him sprawled on the floor. I quickly went behind him, grabbed his neck fiercely, almost choking him to death and asked where Shekau's room was ina hoarse voice. He pointed his hand towards a door which I sensed to be Shekau's room. I released him and hit him hard with the bottom of my rifle and he passed out completely. I advanced towards the door in which the man pointed to steathily, opened the door with my rifle leading the way. As I opened the door fully, I saw a man sleeping peacefully on the bed or so I thought, though I can't see the face of the man because he covered all his body with a blankey up to his head. I prayed that the man should be Shekau so that I will capture him easily, locate Abeeb and get out of here fast but my prayer wasn't answered. I started walking towards the bed but was taken aback when I fet a strong powerful arm gripped me from the back and the struggling started. I was struggling to free myself from the strong arm that gripped me while holding my riffle and the man who owns the strong arm was struggling to get the possession of my rifle. Sensing that, I quickly dislodge the catridge of the riffle sending the bullets everywhere around the room and at the same time freeing myself from his grip and rushed towards the bed thinking of using the person on the bed as my hostage because he has sent a bullet to my direction though it didn't penetrate due to the kevlar I wore. As I opened the blanket, I was surprised to see Abeeb on the bed tied from head to toe like an Ileya ram. Without thinking, i started loosing him but cut short when the man which I later noticed to be Shekau sent two bullets towards our direction with the sound of the gun reverberating through the whole room and everything went still.

Chapter 6
We left the battle ground in search of Shekau admist the chaos, taking a cursory look at the GX-2 to ensure the progress of the tracker. At a certain time, when I glanced at the tracker app, I noticed it has stopped moving, showing a big red dot blinking at interval indicating that target has stopped moving, meaning that they have reached their base. I notified Abeeb about the progress and we quicken our pace because the place is quite far.
We got to the premises of their base, surveyed the surroundings to ensure our safety, that was when we saw about three boko haram members guarding the entrance gate, although they were far from us, so they couldn't see us but we can see them clearly due to the night binoculars we wore.
"How are we gonna pass through them?" I asked Abeeb. He gave me a silent reply, went ahead to pick up a rag-like cloth and a staff that was on the floor, came back and started stripping himself off the military camouflage but left the kevlar made bullet proof vest and wore the rag-like cloth. I gave him a puzzled look expecting him to explain what he just did. He looked at me, smiled and said, "How do I look?" I flashed him an angry look and said, "You look like a poor fulani shepherd who has not eaten for days", hoping to get him angry with my statement but he replied with "Exactly what I want, am going there to distract them and possibly kill them while you find a means of getting in with my stuff" pointing to his military camouflage and his ammo pouch. "Wow, what a brilliant and dangerous idea but I wish you success, go quickly but be careful please", I pleaded. He advanced towards the gate carefully, the boko haram members heard the sound of foot steps and pointed their riffles towards the direction. Noticing that, Abeeb raised his hands up signaling to them that he meant no harm. I watched him with fear as he approached them with confidence and concluded within me that "He will find his way afterall, he understand their language and could easily blend with then due to his disguise". Few minute later, I could hear their laughter from where I was. I was amazed with what I saw, his garrulous attitude paid off. Within a twinkle of an eye, the three boko haram members who were laughing a while ago were down, all dead. Abeeb signaled to me, meaning the coast is clear. I rush to where he was, glancing at the dead bodies. We packed the dead bodies and hid them properly in the bush to avoid being seen by anyone which can give us out. I picked out some c4s, planted it around the gate entrance, took a very thin but strong twince, one end attached to the c4s while the other is attached to the detonator which was across the gate. The setup was made in such a way that when stepped upon, it will activate the detonator and "gbam!" it will explode. Leaving the gate open, we went deeper into their base to hide for a while to ensure no one has seen us.
Not long after, we saw the powerful beam of light coming from the headlight of many vehicles racing towards the gate, four pick up Jeeps fully packed with boko haram members, both the injured, the dead and those that are still fit. Before they could realise something is wrong, the first car has stepped on the twine and activated the c4s causing it to explode and burnt all the four pickup Jeeps and its occupant leaving no survival because they didn't expect such. The fire generated by the c4s in communion with the petrol of the vehicles went up the sky forming some sort of fireworks. I exhaled deeply, glanced at my partner and said, "Mission one completed, at least no fear of any intruder for now". I picked up my banana sized riffle which was on the floor, hung it at my back and picked my Glock semi-automatics pistol from the waist hostler, refill the catridge with bullets and set it in front of me, making it to lead the way. I nodded at Abeeb and we started moving out of our hideout. We haven't moved an inch when we saw group of boko haram members coming from different directions towards the gate, the sound emanated by the c4s and the fire might have alerted them. We quickly went back to our hideout, picking out three grenades, I removed the pins and threw it to three directions where I saw some of the them coming from. Immediately the grenade touched the ground, it exploded killing most of them while we engaged the rest in a gun duel. Multiple against two! The gun duel wasn't that tough because we hid perfectly at our hideout, and for the fact that they didn't know their attacker because they didn't see us, all they noticed was that they are reducing. If not for the light and sound produced by the gun, they wouldn't know where the bullet is coming from. Despite that, all their aim was a "miss". The darkness also worked to our advantage because they couldn't see clearly in the dark but we can see them because we put on the night binoculars. We succeeded in killing them all and proceeded towards the second building

Chapter 5
It was during this celebration we were taken unaware. The boko haram sect invaded our camp with full force and all sort of ammunitions. Immediately, I called Abeeb to my side and ducked behind a huge drum filled with sand where I filled him in with the plans have drafted, picked all we needed, wore a kevlar shirt underneath our military camouflage and put on a kevlar made helment to avoid any stray bullet coming our way from penetrating. I called one of the guys in my team to also join us but his job is to track us down and locate us wherever we might be and bring us home, dead or alive. I know am about to take a very dangerous step but am ready for it. We all moved into the battle field and start shooting. The war was fierce and the sight was gory. I could see gallant men dropped dead like a bag of rice. I could hear the cry of my fellow brothers, the cry of agony. I could hear bones cracking, flesh tearing off, not of our enemies but of my fellow gallant soldiers. The bullet powder was smelling, bullet casing littered everywhere. I put on a night google and gave Abeeb one as well for us to see clearly in the night. Then I saw the second in command of the boko haram sect, Tariq, a very handsome man with a curly short hair with a well built body as a result of gyming who stood at 7feet few inches tall. He was an Arabian due to his complexion. He was advancing menancingly towards the battle field, wielding a machine gun and wearing a bullet jacket and a military camouflage trouser. Seeing him gave me a little hope because he is my target, i quickly shot him two bullets, one on his arm and the other on his thigh rendering him incapacitated. The reason is, those bullets are not really a bullet, they are trackers but have been coated with some poisonous substance, which when it got into a body, it locate the blood stream and mix with it making his death slow and painful. I also shot him in the arm and the thigh so that he will be taken to their base immediately for treatment which will be futile but I will be able to track them down to their base since the tracker is in his body. I intentionally shot their leader because if its just a junior member that I shot, nobody will attend to him until after the battle has ended. The least they could do is to drag him to safety.

Seeing that my plan is working, I picked up my duffel bag, took out the G-X2, a gadget that could pass for a very expensive android phone but it's not. I quickly launch the tracking app, locate the tracker which gave me a tinge of happiness because i could see the red blinking dot moving northward. I summoned Abeeb and also inform our third member whose name is Nonso. We did a brief prayer and off we went admist all the ruckus.

A kevlar is a plastic like material capable of stopping bullets and knives. It is mostly used in the making of bulletproof vest or anything bulletproof.

continuation...[\b]
It's closing up to a year now that we've all left the comfort of our home and make shelter for ourselves in the bush- the valley of shadow of death. Hmmm, that's the life of a soldier. The friendship between Abeeb and I grew stronger even though he talks alot but he is the only guy available to keep my company when am bored. The festive season is around the corner and I can't stop myself from thinking how it will feel like if am with my family. I can't just wait to see my beautiful Susan, my lovely mum, my adorable sisters, my super handsome dad and my cute in-law to be even if am yet to make my relationship with their daughter official. Though, have promised myself to make our relationship official once I return home. All these thoughts accompanied with that blood sucking viper, Shekau causing trouble everywhere flooded my mind. A day won't pass without a new reaching us about a bomb blast killing thousands of people and making some permanently handicapped.

For some months now, all we do is "kill and get killed". Yes, we killed them and they got us killed as well. Make plans, go to their territories but we dare not move into their camp, more soldiers recruited to us and also ask for more ammunitions even though the ammunitions been supplied to us can't be compared with what these militants are using but we were trained to maximized the use of whatever ammunitions given to us. I could remember when I was in the academy, during one of our training session, my tutor shared his experience he had during the World War II. He said he made use of a hologram and a box of matches to clear off a set of their enemies when he ran out of ammunitions. How did he do it? He placed the hologram beside the entrance of a thatched hut, caused a distraction thereby directing the enemies towards the hologram that is making a false image of them going into the thatched hut not knowing it was a trap, so they quickly ran into the hut thinking it was one of them going inside the hut. As they entered the hut, my tutor said, he set the hut ablazed by putting fire on the thatched roof making room for no escape and kiled them all. He said this to buttress his point which is to make use of anything around us to fight. So that was how we were trained. Those that were dead were sent to the morgue, the badly injured ones were sent home to go and be with their families. Sometimes, I do wish that I should be among the injured ones so as to go home as well but nobody knows tomorrow. Assuming am among the injured ones, I might not make it back to life, I might even remain cripple for life. Hmmm, such is a life of a soldier!

The christmas festival came and gone with me been moody all through, training, drafting plans and preparing harder because I can sense it, the blood bath is near! My instinct is telling me never to let my guard down because something bad will happen soon. But my confidence is, am well prepared for whatever happens, either I die trying to bring down Shekau and his group or he dies.
It all happened on the New Year eve at exactly 2200hrs, two hours to new year on 31st of December, 2030 when there was celebration in the air. Shooting bullets into the air, our own way of celebrating the New Year. It was during this celebration the unforseen happened!

One Man Mopol by Awe Samuel Olutayo

Chapter 4
We got settled, made our tent and group ourselves into five groups headed by a lieutenant and a second lieutenant each. Temitope, a young aspiring guy who just graduated from the Nigeria Defence Academy, NDA and I headed group Beta. A total number of 150 able soldiers were in each group. In group Beta which I happened to be the leader was filled with lots of young guys like me with few old men who are as old as having me as their last child but are still very strong and fit for the mission ahead. All the five groups was headed by Captain Rotimi Okonjo Musa, a disciplined and well respected man. How he manage to have those nmames from the three major tribes in Nigeria is a story for another time.
Our first mission was to go to their territory to create awareness of our presence. I gathered my group and as their leader, i gave them a little speech to boost their morale and also filled them in about what we will do. The group Alpha will go inside their territory to cause commotion. It is in that state of commotion that we, the group Beta will come in. The mission was to start nby 2000hours on the dot. Which means that, fifteen minutes before the time, each group must be in their position. When it is exactly 2000hours, we invaded their territory. We killed and got killed but the Boko Haram sect was on the losing side which means that we are on the winning ground. When the Boko Haram sect saw this, they ran to their base while we retreat and went back to our base to jubilate our first victory because we only lose 20 of our men in total. During the jubilation, I met a guy who was in my group, his name is Abeeb, he was a sergeant, a hausa man. We bonded so easily and talked about many things ranging from politics to football to this boko haram issue and little about our family background. That was when i got to know that we share the same passion which is to bring down Shekau and his men down and because of that, we bacame friends and we device a plan together.

Sorry guys, i will be offline for a while now due to some pressing issue. Am deeply sorry guys
