Hello House,
Please your help is needed. I missed my appointment few days ago. My mind was set towards the end of the month, only to log into my avits account and I realized that the status was set to ‘no show’. Apparently it was meant to be on the 7th of this month. Please, what do you think I can do?

Pick a later date, If you have more tries, keep checking for an earlier date to reschedule to.

Please can anyone help with this. Am I the only one getting this error?

Have you checked your Junk / Spam email? Sometimes you may get their emails there.

I have been trying to login to my AVITS account for a week now and I’m unable to login. I kept getting this message. I have done forgot password countless times but I wasn’t getting any messages from Avits in my mail. My interview is on the 7th November. I have chatted support, they said they sent a link to change my password and I haven’t gotten any link since yesterday till now. I’m beginning to start panicking. Kindly help me on what to do. It appears you migrated yourself from the old system...and didnt wait for the system/avits to migrate you.....

If so..only possible way out is to open a ticket and send screenshots of your old iw date from the old portal......or have you tried rescheduling a new appointment entirely??.if i recall correctly..thats what i did..after I was migrated

Since then we have been trying to schedule the appointment but we are stuck at “Choose a Post” and can't go further because the options are not showing. Please, what can be done?

I also see that under ‘My Appointment’ it shows ‘You have 0 Appointment’. So please how do I reschedule when there is nothing there.

Please, while trying to pay for the visa fee online, the old passport number was used mistakenly and the receipt issued with the old passpord number. Please who has had this experience before? How can we correct the mistake? Will it have any effect on acquiring the visa as we are considering IW.

When I did mine, my original interview date was about 6 weeks from the time I was scheduling but I applied for expedited.....for that you need US doctor's letter, Nigerian's letter and proof of funds as per the website.

The ideal scenario would be to use the visa for what it was issued for,but if you must make the trip then the issue would now be with visa renewal. If you are still bent on making the trip after all said and done,then you have to write the change of intent letter, get Dr & hospital correspondence and then hold plenty of cash to show at Poe to convince them that you can pay your bills.

A popular question...please see a comprehensive response below from Oga abanzi. I think it will apply for mamas who didn't know they were pregnant at interview or who got pregnant after interview. My personal favourite is option 1.

I actually got the visa with my husband, we wanted to attend my cousin's wedding which was what we stated during the interview but we couldn't make it due to circumstances beyond our control.

I was just few weeks pregnant as at that time but was unaware when I got the visa in August.

So how do I go about it?
