Romance › Re: American Woman Who Met Nigerian Man Online by AXYZ: 6:43pm On Jun 26, 2017 |
Redgal: Does it really cost that much? I'm skeptical considering the cost I see online and what these people are saying here. I can't write off their opinions just because they are "dark color" as you put it. I feel he has to make up his mind to come up with the amount of money if he truly does want to be with me even if it cost that amount. As someone else on this forum says if some folks there can do it why can't he. Thanks for your comment though. Actually I didn't want to comment as I was enjoying the convo. To be candid, visa processing to US and other choice destinations can cost a fortune, depending on your (in)experience and/or your show of desperacy and yet, you could fail or be 'duped' in your quest. This does not however infer that 'your' man isn't trying to scam you. Of course, I am convinced he sees you as a potential victim. One advice: Don't send a dime cos you can end up sending dimes later. You can't totally blame us. Things are hard..It's survival for the fittest. |

AHCB: So by the time he gain admission he will be 50 years old? Come on now, don't be this cruel. God's ways are different from man's He can go ahead and study diligently without recourse to prophecies. if God wills, it will still come to pass. |

YahuBoi: I would've said that God should bless you for this comment, but I don't even know if God exist talk less of him blessing you as I've said. some stupid people here don't understand what I went through in the name of God will do this for you, he will do that for you... last year taught me a very big lesson and I will never in my rightful sense believe in anything called prophecy again.
If this year doesn't work, I won't bother myself thinking of going to school anymore. I need money now not school
let prophecies rest abeg I want to point out some things 1. You're apparently still young in the faith 2. You don't work towards fulfilling prophecies. Let prophecies come true by itself 3. You shouldn't have depended on prophecies alone without reading. 4. It may take years, even decades, to actualize. 5. Why not follow all these again and trust him still ?!!!! |

peaceonearth:
Don't think he can even Chant the first Chapter in Eji Ogbe let alone other deeper Odus. Just like the hood doesn't make the monk, adorning Ileke and white Agbada doesn't make you a Babalawo. He's probably an Apprentice (Omo Ekofa) or Onisegun. He's not a Babalawo in the real sense of it. To be a Babalawo, you have to know at heart, at least 4 chapters in all the 256 Odus of Ifa. Mind you, a Chapter can contain more than one verse and some can be as long as five verses or more. You are expected to memorise all and be able to Chant them from heart anytime before you can be called a Babalawo. The learning process is so complex that you will be very humble when successful and won't have time for all these show of swags. You'll rather use that time to learn more because you can't even stop learning, there is no graduation. I think he still tried. They are learning from Yoruba. I could see 'Ile ase....' |

Maaamaaa: We still live together and we just paid the rent. I don't have any money to move out and I don't want to ask my parents for any money.
I still want to stay here till my rent expires. Is it a good idea?
I'm just going to focus on me and my work. I don't want to tell my parents anything for now.
I paid half of the rent and I don't want to say anything to my parents if not he will say he wants to marry but I'm the one that cancelled it. You can just pretend you're married for now even to your organization to earn you maternity leave. I don't know how but I think it's not impossible while you remain legally single. Secondly I'd advise you go ahead and tell him you don't wanna marry him again. Do some shakara even though it's not easy. If he's amenable, he'll come for you and insist you guys can marry. Else, just live your life no matter how hard things would be at first. |

Of course I perceive it could be used to monitor traffic especially during December/January festivities. |

TPAND: I never knew Jesus established a college on earth before his ascension to heaven.
But hol up, electrical engineers, is it possible to have a wire carrying that much voltage that can electrocute an individual exposed in a residential setting. The school should be investigated and a Techincal audit should be conducted to ascertain the safety of the school to students. The parents should also sue the school for negligence Good point bro, but is it really practicable here |
Politics › Re: Did Zara Buhari Really Go To School? by AXYZ: 6:13pm On Sep 28, 2016 |
bigtiny10: Not long ago I saw a Facebook post by Zara Buhari where she couldn't discern the simple differences between the words "safe" and "save". Even her use of "is" and "are" was were quite messy, simple English turns out to be quite a conundrum for the university graduate. How could a graduate of Law who can't speak English correctly have been called to bar? I'm even more surprised as to how she managed to graduate. It makes no sense at all. Our Nigerian leaders are fond of using their clout to get whatever they want for themselves and people around them. Hence, obscene number of workers without interviews discovered in the CBN. Their children go to school abroad, they are given arbitrary and sentimental treatments when they return, and pinned at the top positions. Before you know it, the likes of poor graduates like Zara and Yusuf will hold prestigious ranks in the judiciary tier of Nigeria. |
