So u don't even have source to all ur lies? And who are you to tell a whole ilorin where to belong

What's sulu gambari in Yoruba language? What's Alfa belgore in Yoruba language? But I can tell you what is 'Adeyemi' in Smart Adeyemi, 'Dino' in Dino Melaye, 'Awoniyi' in Sunday Awoniyi all from Kabba in Kogi state.

On the contrary

I have never met a Yoruba person from Kwara State that has denied to be Yoruba. It's on Nairaland where I see display of ignorance from certain people from the SW who have never stepped foot in Kwara State and fallen for Ipob propaganda.

Ilorin people act and behave like the fulanis but same can't be said of other Yoruba people of Kwara. Not all kwarans are Yorubas but majority are Yorubas.

Mr man u know nothing about ilorin so stop the lies abeg

Stop the attaching by force. We don't have anything in common with you. We don't have identity crisis in Yoruba land. Fulani are your kinsmen.

They might have defeated Yoruba, but they didn’t defeat Yoruba. Yoruba repelled them back to where they came from. They are yet to dip their Koran in the Atlantic Ocean. Our southern brothers have us to thank for that grin

They didn't defeat us thanks to the Ibadan warriors but the Ilorin people were heavily defeated and conquered. The result is what you see in the capital town Ilorin.

That guy knows nothing , majority of the Fulani in ilorin don't even understand the language anymore and you hardly see a fulani that doesn't give his children a yoruba name, even emir of ilorin has a yoruba name

Stop attaching the Ilorin to the larger Yoruba nation. Despite being grouped in Kogi state, the Okun/Kabba have been true to their roots.

How do you prove it that ilorin people are Fulani even without knowing how to speak the language.

I am not denying the fact that they embrace some parts of Fulani culture, but that doesn't make them Fulani. Some part of Edo and Delta also embrace Yoruba culture but can we say they are Yorubas?

The Akoko edos are the only Yoruba subgroup people in Edo state that still remember their roots. That's why they still embrace the Yoruba culture and identity and they were artificially grouped in Edo state by the military officers.

Gibberish. You can recommend the book you read this.

Because of Gambaris appointment, ilorin people suddenly became Fulani

Ilorin people are Fulani by extension. Their way of life are akin, ditto their style of dressing. You can't remove fulanism from the people of Ilorin especially those that are based in the capital city.

Can you mention any part of Ilorin where Fulani is spoken as a language?

Please read books and know your history. Fulani way of association and cohabitation is first by learning the host language. They achieved the learning of language via forceful possession of native women and wives by killing their husbands and men.

Many Yorubas are suffering from Stockholm Syndrome, whereby the victim falls in love with his oppressors.
They are even calling him Yoruba/Fulani and now attacking their own for reminding them of their history.
This is the reason why it's difficult to fully trust a Yoruba Muslim not to sell you to the Fulani, even though Afonja agreed to accept Islam Alimi used taqqiya to kill him and his children.

No Igbo or Ijaw person will ever lick the ass of their oppressors even if they changed their names to Tamunowari or Okechukwu like I see some Yorubas do to Gambari because he adopted 'Agboola' as middle name

No Yoruba licks the shoe of her oppressors. Those people are not Yorubas but fulanis. The Yorubas in Kwara are the likes of Femi Adebayo, Sam Adeyemi, Lai Mohammed, David oyedepo et all

He speaks Hausa because he lives in zaria and spend most of his career life in kaduna state. He's truly Yoruba

Stop this nonsense. Gambari and all their lineage cant/won't be Yoruba but typical fulani people. Real Yorubas are Lai Mohammed, David oyedepo, Femi Adebayo etc from kwara as a state.

A typical ilorin man reading this will be laughing at your ignorance. Just because their kingship title is Emir doesn't make them Fulani. Though they embrace some Fulani culture, but they ain't Fulani in all ramifications

I beg to disagree with you. A typical Ilorin man thinks like an average fulani man, but an offa man has same ideology as an average Yoruba man from Southwest.

By political zoning, kwara is a nothern state including Benue, Kogi and the rest but by tribe and language, obviously kwara is dominated by Yoruba and by virtue of that, it makes kwara a Yoruba state.

An ilorin indigine can never claim to be a Fulani because they don't even speak Fulani and their way of life is not in line with Fulani way. They are Yorubas and the official language is Yoruba.

The newly appointed COS to Buhari can't claim he is a Fulani man cos he knows little or nothing about Fulani culture.

Out of 16 LGAs in kwara, about 12 are dominated by Yorubas which are Kwara south, kwara Central and some part of kwara north.

Kwara can only claim to be a northern state when it comes to politics but in every other thing, kwara is a Yoruba state. To those claiming the COS to Buhari is a Fulani man, the man doesn't know anything about Fulani culture. If you all claim is a Fulani man because he bears Gambari, then we can say Bukola Saraki and his sister are Fulani too.
[/s]

Kwara as a state is a Yoruba state but it's capital city Ilorin as ceased to be Yoruba city for long. Offa, Omu-Aran, Erin-Ile etc people have nothing in common with the Treacherous Ilorin people.

Kwara is northern state because we are in north central region.

There's no Cardinal point as North central or South South. It's either central/ equatorial/ middle belt or southward respectively.

There's nothing like Yoruba fulani. That phrase is wrong and should not be supported by the real Yorubas. Ilorin is a lost cause, a lost city that every omoluabi should turn our backs at. Their way of life is totally different from ours. We should channel our energy to relate and unite other southern towns in Kwara eg Oro, Omu-Aran, Erin-Ile, Ajase, offa etc.

Definitely more than 30 flyovers. Beginning from Gyadi - Gyadi. Down to Dangi, From Dangi down to Dogo banki by Bank of the north headquarters. Down to Gidan Murtala, , down to Ibrahim Taiwo road, Before Ibrahim Taiwo road , you have some along Kano state poly. From there down to Yankura, Yankura down to France road, France road down to Coca cola and bata from bats to Bello road, from Bello road down to Dala, Dala to This Army barrack, from there down to Gwamaja, down to Murtala Muhammad Hospital ( under construction) from there down to BuK old site. In all these areas, there are not less than 2/3/4 flyovers there. Definitely more than 30 flyovers, it might not be up to 100.

Flyovers are not pedestrian bridges. Even Lagos cannot boast of that. 100 what?

I believe they released another one yesterday, though that was poverty level if am correct.

Educated Ignorants everywhere. Spamming the entire thread with stupid pictures. Discourse should be based on sector by sector to know what region is better off. The two sides can decide to choose each sector one after the other eg Financial, Entertainment, Industry, Sport, ICT, Education, Housing, Agriculture, Transportation, Media etc and slug it out.
