I submitted my visitor visa application online in May, 27th to be precise, did my biometrics on the 31st of May. This is now September and still no update, I don't even know who to call for inquiry but can testify the 60 days on their website isn't accurate.

Canada allows family application. I recently applied with my wife via paper application. I prefer paper application but the major problem is that it might take up to 70 days and you would have to drop your passport with them while for online ,your passport is with you. If you have any questions let me know
