If you are to going for a masters you don't need to worry yourself about that just submit the required documents . If you are going for bachelors there's a very high change you won't be granted visa but people have gotten visa for bachelors before so I heard but the chances are really slim uchechukwu007: A quick one please. That small clause in udi site where they stated
.. that the circumstances in your home country must indicate that it is likely that you can return home when you have completed your studies.
Please can someone explain this. Like what documentation prove are we to show? How do they judge this. Basically explain please. |

Normally it takes 10-15 working days to get your study permit. However because of Covid they stopped processing student permit for a long while and they resumed in July.so when they resumed there was a lot of backlog . I submitted my documents in May at vfs office got my study permit in July but to put into perspective they were really fast when they started processing again because a very large amount of students got their study permit in July last year irrespective of when you submitted your documents Samoluv: Greay info. Thanks... How long did it take for you to get study permit reply from UDI after submitting application at vfsglobal? |

When you book flights early you get cheaper deals .. but I won't advice on booking your flight yet till at least you have submitted your documents at VFS office Samoluv: What's the advantage of booking flight at this stage? |

You can't apply for early admission, the school gives you early admission mainly because of good grades compared to others who also applied . uchechukwu007: Thanks for the reply. In your case did you apply for early admissions or just the regular way. |

The admission is not issued once . When I got my admission then I got mine in feb others got in March and April some even got in May tho uchechukwu007: Congratulations on this. Please a quick one...the Wednesday you stated was it yesterday?
Also a general question. The admissions is it but by but or all at once issued admissions? Because I applied at stavenger and I am yet to get any feedback. |

I'm not sure if it's categorized as early admission but it usually 3 weeks from when you get the admission that you should have sent the money Martial7745: Is late March classified as early admission, how do you get to know if the deadline is extended from 3 weeks after admission, and is deadline general or it's according to when you got your admission letter? |

When I did mine I was really lucky . I applied through Uba on Thursday and on Monday my account had been debited sent a proof of documents to the school and 48hrs after I got a confirmation from the school that they have received the funds. For some of my friends it took about 1-4 weeks for their form A to be approved . It just depends on the time you apply Samoluv: Please comrades how long does Form A payment for school fees takes before the school receives the money? and is it the cheapest regards rate and finally which Nigerian bank is trusted to do it without much stress? Please your experience let's learn o. This forum is too silent. It should be buzzing by now o |

It's usually 3-4 weeks. Last year because I was given early admission I was given about 6 weeks. Also last year because it was a pandemic year my school UIS kept extending the deadline up to June for those who wanted to transfer the funds. Femiomoh: Hi guys, How many days, weeks or months are given to pay the proof of funds after the release of admission letter?
Thanks |

I understand. I also got admission in a german school in May 2020 but decided to shift my focus elsewhere after the whole visa Wahala. For the visa requirement 1. Admission letter 2. Proof of accommodation or proof that you have applied for accommodation 3. Proof of sustenance funds ( the school will provide an account for you when you get the admission to transfer the money into) 4. Your visa application fee. 5. Your Bsc certificate 6. International passport and passport photograph. That was what I used for mine from what I remember. The visa application process is straightforward and no hassle 1 beltkid: Hii guys,
Started following the thread few days ago, thank you guys for the information so far. As someone you got admission to Germany but getting a visa there is pretty difficult. I'm now considering Norway, I just want to ask, can someone please list all the Norway visa requirements for me here, as well as the visa steps, have looked through the thread but didn't see such details and steps. I just want to understand properly and start preparing myself.
Arinze and everyone else, thanks for the information so far, waiting for your answer plss |

My question is how true is this? Does it apply to those that already have a bsc before? Do you know anyone that is studying a bsc course ? Please help out as im about to start funding . Was given admission for film and tv production .

Tuition fee in the Uk is about 8m minus accommodation and feeding so for me it isn't feasible.it's all about cutting your coat according to your size. I believe most of us here have done our research and that's why we have decided to move to Norway . It's not easy like you have rightly said but it's never easy anywhere ..Tusen takk ikswiss: Born in Nigeria and raised in Sweden. Yeah destines differs and not saying that there is no opportunity in Norge, all am saying is do your calculation well. Norway is mad expensive, the monthly expenses for the year would pay for your tuition in England and you will be able to get a job and fit in properly. Let’s talk about the social aspect of Nordic countries, do you guys know there is a massive diversity crisis and Norwegians are cold ass people and anti social unlike people from the UK who are welcoming and I should add we do have a massive systematic racism..
Most professional jobs that foreigners do that don’t require proficiency in Norwegian are engineering and IT related jobs but then you have to be very smart to get employed with a foreign company and ready to compete with locals as well..
So make una try do una home work before making the decision to move to Norway..
Not writing this things to discourage anyone, I’m just writing from my own experience and having some Nigerians who graduated here sharing their horrible experiences.. Ha en bra dag |

If English speaking countries cost (tuition and proof of funds) were feasible most of us will be on that path.but that's not the case..like Arinze rightly said some are using for a first stop in itinerary plans, while also praying the country will still favor them.. I won't lie personally I'm scared moving to a whole new place but the truth is I'm ready to face my battles heads on I 100% know it won't be easy but its something I'm ready to do.. I keep praying for Gods favor and grace and I pray for all who are embarking on this journey that whatever we are looking for on this new life journey we shall find it . ikswiss: Speaking from experience and having to live in the Nordic country for 20years plus would kindly advice those who are aiming for a professional jobs to seek for that in a more sociable and English speaking countries. Don’t let the free education fool you, life in Nordic countries is hard and for an educated mind working as a cleaner isn’t really empowering if you ask me .. |

yess you are right most Norwegians speak and understand English .. learning a language is not easy at all but learning it to a reasonable extent is something that must be done to be able to advance In the country. Please note: I am not speaking from experience but from what I got from the people there. You can get a menial job without speaking Norwegian one that can sustain your expenses but getting an office job requires an extent of Norwegian. Faculty14: Learning a new language at an advance age is never easy mehn. I read somewhere on this thread that most Norwegians speak and understand English. |

Evening .. trust your day was good. The issue of language it's the same thing I have heard from people in Norway. If you end up migrating to Norway you'll still have to learn the language as it opens up a whole lot of other opportunities. Temi06: It's good, but getting a job has been difficult these days, mandating one must sabi language...who learn languages at old age? It's frustrating bruh...any info on Norway admission...I am so interested. Pls |

If I get you right you want to apply for a Bsc in computer science. To be honest with you your chances of getting a visa for Bsc is very very slim . The embassy has stated that they only give visa for masters program and above. If you are going for masters on the other hand I'll say you are good to go since you already have the proof of funds and your waec result and also you must have graduated with a 2:1. Your knowledge of Norsk will come in very handy when applying for a job and also easily integrating in the society even tho most Norwegians speak English Raesrimud: @starflux Ģod bless you even when you stop doing this it not easy
my questions are 1) i have about 8 million naira i want to read computer science in norway will i get admission easily
2) if i learn norwegian will it improve my chances of admission
3) i dont plan to combak to nigeria infact am goin to become a norway citizen what are my chances of success?
i have a very good waec result, first school leaving cert provide the funds for the block accnt present a cert for proficiency in norwegian will all that surely fetch me the admission? thanks for yur anticipated response Raesrimud: @starflux Ģod bless you even when you stop doing this it not easy
