No it won't. I have a passport due to expire in July with a valid visa on it. Last year when I renewed my passport to the new 10year passport and still used my visa on the old one

You can actually renew anytime, I did mine with 8 months validity.

You renew at the Nigerian consulate at Johannesburg, but first make payment at OIS service at Rosebank, then they give you a date for capturing. It's a long and tedious process, so if you have someone to help do it in Nigeria, it's better.

Processing time depends on the availability of booklet. Though, there are agents here who helps to fast track things with extra payment.

Good day house, please I need your advice on the renewal of passport in S.A
1. Where can the passport be renewed in SA 2. What will be the cost 3. How long will it be processed before it is out . Or is it better to obtain the renewal right in Nigeria even when the one you are holding still valid for more than 6months and with valid visa on it. Your advice will be appreciated

I received a mail yesterday to pick my Passport. I was given Study Permit till 2021 December. Thank you to all of you that guided me in the process. Meanwhile my admission maybe deferred because of corona virus. Thank you all

I want to find out from those that have applied for study visa in Lagos in recent times if they require certification of your degree certificates and if yes, do they accept certification from high court or it must be done by federal ministry of education Abuja. Please help me out because this assist me in putting my documents together for submission at Lagos

Can somebody help me with the Lagos vfs address (The way it will appear on my self introduction letter)
2. What are the documents required in Lagos that differs from Abuja because Abuja requires submission and certification of your certificates at federal ministry of education in Abuja .
3. What's Visa application fees for study Visa in Lagos because I was told that as at December last year it was 45k
4. Can I still go ahead using the admission letter(because on my admission letter it states that am expected to register btw January 1 and June 6 2020. Or I should ask my school to issue a fresh admission letter to me.
5. My medical cover is January 1-Dec. 31 2020. Can I still go ahead with it to reapply or I will need to pay a top up to make it 12 months . I will be glad to get possible answers from you guys. And your advice to guide me on submission of my third application will be appreciated

Good day nairalanders. Please I want your advice on this, I have applied for study Visa twice at Abuja and I was refused on those two different occasions. Reasons are:
1st application on the ground of insufficient fund(600k plus) and no evidence of examination by radiologist even when the radiological form was submitted(stamped and sign at state government hospital)
2nd submission, I submitted statements of account of my cousin with balance of 4m plus and with sponsor letter written that she will sponsor my study program but I was refused Visa on the ground that my sponsor hung up phone when contacted and of which there was a network failure when my sponsor was contacted. I tried to apeal to explain what happened but vfs Abuja told me that they don't accept apeal letter for study visa. Please what should I do
