bblessed: Yes bro, you apply under same subsequent entrant(visa 500) but with the reason that you are coming to visit your wife. The main thing is when the visa is granted it will be given the same duration with your wife's duration. I have a friend who got just one month insurance for her husband to come visiting and the husband was given same duration of visa with the wife.
All you need is the visa. Meanwhile which city is your wife based? |

Thanks so much for ur encouragements.....if I say so, does it imply dat am referring to visitor visa which in the real sense of it i dont want to go as a visitor. and asking for a month or 2 will it not mean unnecessary expenses as in going to spend 2 months now and applying again next yr...just my thoughts. But thanks so much my sister for ur contributions. |

bblessed: Yes bro, if you ask me cos waiting until next year is not a good idea as your agent suggested. As some people suggested get a letter from your place of work that you are only going for just a month or so to visit your wife. If you have any other surpporting documents like landed property, you can also include them.
You can ask your wife to get a better migration agent over here whom will also help out on knowing how to package it this time.
Please reaply and don't wait till next year |

Albion05: @Ayolachris, do not loose hope dear. Find any sporting activity or leisure and engage your self in it. Any Diversional Therapy will help you overcome this. Time heals everything in life.
You just need to engage your self in any social activity and a responsible social group to be precise. Gulf Club, Lawn tennis, or any sports of your choice. Do those things that will make you happy. Definitely, you will be with your wife sooner than you expected.
Time heals everything!.... Surely you will get over it in a matter of days or weeks depending how you let it go and re-channel your energy, knowing fully well that you will definitely be with your wife, if not today, tomorrow and if not tomorrow, the next following day. May you experience the spirit of calmness!.. |

Albion05: Bro, so sorry. I know for sure that this things is not easy at all. After waiting for several months and such reply came up.
Put yourself together, address the issue raised. She is your wife and definitely you can not abandon her over there.
In your next application, write an epistle telling the CO how devastating it is for you not seeing your spouse in a long time. This time you need enough assets to be able to convinced the CO..... boast your Statement of account to at least 10 million, present Stocks or bonds if you have any, get quantity/Estate surveyour or estate management agency to evaluate your landed property and present it. Any thing that can boast your home tie back to Nigeria just try and do it.
Our prayers and taughts are with you!... There is always another chance to prove to them that your are genuinely applicant. If I may ask, what was the reason for your Canadian Student Visa Refusal?.. |
