Judging by the grammatical blunders regularly made by nairalanders (the people one would assume are educated), i totally believe this. Let us not forget our 'first lady' either. She is a raw illiterate. |
Just when you think you've heard the worst, some psychos somewhere in their greed, keep coming up with inhuman and barbaric ideas! |
I think it's a reasonable idea. Any profit making body must be taxed, religious or not. |
Loving the idea of a farmers market. Keep up the good work! |
The envy and hatred some people have for Lagos is just scary! If Lagos is such a slum, why do so many people want to live there by force? O ga o!. |
@2AMLasgidi Some people here don't really give a toss about a toll or no toll, they just seek out any opportunity to bash Fashola. |
@nku5 progress and development comes at a cost. I sympathise with the indegenes and all, but should the govt then decide to not upgrade the roads? Like i stated earlier, there is an alternative route, let them use it. |
Quote from: Ayo-olu12 on Today at 06:21:20 PM Why all this faux outrage against Fashola? Where is the outrage against Gej for the fuel subsidy removal? At least Fashola has drastically improved Lagos ( to the extend that pple leave their villages and come to live there). Pray tell, what exactly has gej done for us? Boko haram? Pls stop hating on Fashola you enemies of progress. Its not by force to live in Lagos o! Eediot claiming people protesting about modern day oppression are enemies of progress. . . so you registered around 5pm today just to write this trash . Yes i registered today to say it. Have you got a problem with that? You clearly lack any form of breeding to use such foul language so loosely. Oppression is when you are forced to do something without being provided an alternative. There is an alternative route to ply, and no one has to use the tolled roads. |

Stop being ridiculous! Eko oni baje lai lai loruko Jesu. Nigerians need to get used to the idea of paying for services. Let's hope the roads are put in excellent condition, and maintained as such. I'd be willing to pay a lot of money as toll fees for the Ibadan-Lagos express rd, if they'd just fix it!!! |
I do support the tolling even though i believe that the fee is too high. We Nigerians need to learn that good things do not come cheap. If you want good roads, be ready to pay for them. In London, transport for London charges ridiculous amounts for travel to central London (the equivalent of Lekki), butit works smoothly (almost always). |
