PoliticsRe: Nigeria Heading For Civil War – Soyinka by Ayoolu12: 12:09am On Jan 11, 2012
Lets be mature and serious about this. Anyone that wants to break away from Nigeria as presently constituted, is going to have to fight for it, either through military agitation, or through being politically savvy.
I sincerely hope that Yoruba's can leave this unprogressive union. For how long are we going to have illiterate mallams and fishermen ruling over us?. My hope is that nigeria will separate without bloodshed. Infact, i'd even develop some respect for that Gej character if he can call a SNC.

As to which tribe (s) will suffer most from the breakup, time will tell, even though I already have a fair idea.
PoliticsRe: Oyo State Govt Declares 7pm To 7am Curfew With Immediate Effect by Ayoolu12: 10:17pm On Jan 10, 2012
I'm in total support. Only miscreants want to go about at night, doing lord knows what.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Heading For Civil War – Soyinka by Ayoolu12: 10:15pm On Jan 10, 2012
Nchara, as much as I despise boko haram, they have already asked igbos to leave the north, yet many would rather die than do so. So please stop the chest beating. Many igbos are addicted to the north and SW, and won't leave even at the point of death. I'm sure that if nigeria were to break up today, its the igbos that will have the hardest time returning to/staying in their region.
PoliticsRe: Another Four Gunned Down At Ibafo - Lagos/ibadan Express-way, Ogun State by Ayoolu12: 9:44pm On Jan 10, 2012
I have to agree that protesters have no right whatsoever to prevent people from moving around. I'm sure you'll find that those people are not really protesters, but rather riff-raffs and thugs who are trying to take advantage of the situation for stealing and God knows what else!
PoliticsRe: Strike: Count Us Out –south-east Traders by Ayoolu12: 10:41am On Jan 10, 2012
@jp philips, you've said it all! Some folks have Zero political savy, and as such, end up on the wrong side of issues all the time. Their inability to think past what they are eating now, and see a bigger pixture cannot be helped. Though good at petty trading, they sadly do not possess any political intelligence.

As for those saying that the SS did not potest, LOL!. Keep telling yourself that. Whatever helps you sleep at night eh?,
PoliticsRe: So Is The Protest A Success Or A Failure? by Ayoolu12: 10:23pm On Jan 09, 2012
Its too erly to tell. However, those poor souls that were killed will not die for nothing.
PoliticsRe: Strike: Count Us Out –south-east Traders by Ayoolu12: 10:20pm On Jan 09, 2012
Nobody is asking you not to think or act as you please, we are only saying that when the consequences of those thoughts and actions (or inactions) come, don't go blaming others. Period.
PoliticsRe: Strike: Count Us Out –south-east Traders by Ayoolu12: 10:09pm On Jan 09, 2012
I forgot to add a very apt Yoruba saying which translates;"when you hear people shouting trouble, trouble, trouble outside, and you refuse to go out and see whats going on, the trouble will eventually get dumped in your backyard".
PoliticsRe: Strike: Count Us Out –south-east Traders by Ayoolu12: 10:07pm On Jan 09, 2012
^^ I am sorry if you cannot forsee this degenerating into a tribal/religious issue. If certain groups are refusing to protest because they feel 'their kinsman' is in power, it's only a matter of time before they are singled out. I never mentioned BH, however, since you've raised it, do you think they are going to stop until they kill as many southern Christians in the north as possible?
PoliticsRe: Strike: Count Us Out –south-east Traders by Ayoolu12: 9:50pm On Jan 09, 2012
I quite frankly don't give a toss. When real trouble breaks out, they'll be the ones to suffer the most losses as they are the ones who refuse to stay in their region. undecided
PoliticsRe: Stranded Passengers In Abia Sell Belongings To Raise Fares by Ayoolu12: 5:24am On Jan 08, 2012
^^^In other words, your lives are worth less to you than making money?. Your reasoning isn't right at all!
PoliticsRe: Stranded Passengers In Abia Sell Belongings To Raise Fares by Ayoolu12: 10:19pm On Jan 07, 2012
How does this make any sense? People selling their property to go to the North, where they are clearly not wanted? Seriously, do these guys just have a death wish, or is the east now hell fire that they must leave at all cost? Smh!
CultureRe: Yoruba Language Is The Most Influential Nigerian Language Outside Nigeria. by Ayoolu12: 9:50pm On Jan 07, 2012
Those guilty of what i stated above are the ones speaking up! LOL!
I must however insist, some folks refusal to have or answer to native names is very telling, i don't care how you spin it.
As to the argument regarding the 'ashewo' word, it just proves the poster right. Yoruba has so permeated Nigerian culture as a whole that some folks can't tell it apart from their native tongue  cry
CultureRe: Yoruba Language Is The Most Influential Nigerian Language Outside Nigeria. by Ayoolu12: 9:08pm On Jan 07, 2012
Don't expect honest answers from some people here. It's a well known fact that Yorubas reside outside and inside nigeria are very ethnocentric, passing on their language to their children. However, there are some tribes who without even stepping on the shores of the western world quickly distance themselves from their language and traditional names ( you'll hear My name is agatha, cynthia, susan, ) even though their accent is so thick it can be cut with a knife!, just go to lagos and see what i mean.
You will not find a yoruba child who doesn't speak or at least understand Yoruba.

But as i said at the beginning, some people are the masters of denial and delusion. They will never admitt to anything good about Yoruba undecided

PoliticsRe: Nlc To Shut Down Airports, Banks, Etc - Advises Masses To Stockpile. Who Loses? by Ayoolu12: 11:20am On Jan 05, 2012
Very good. Time for Nigerians to liberate themselves from these maniacs. As for Gej, when his puppet masters are done with him, they'll throw him to the wolves!. Gej is leaving such a bad legacy from himself and his tribes men. I seriously doubt if anyone from that region will ever rule this nation after this disgusting regime. What is most disturbing is that people seem to be supporting his actions simply because they are from the same tribe. What shallow reasoning! When Obj was in power, his greatest critics were Yoruba people. Hopefully Nigeria breaks up, and it'll be 'to thy tents o Israel'!
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Gives 3 Days Ultimatum To Southerners Living In The North by Ayoolu12: 2:46pm On Jan 02, 2012
Oddly enough, i'm quite pleased at this development. Southerners should please move back to their home states, and then lets teach these God forsaken northerners living in the south a thing or two.
PoliticsRe: Lagos To Ban Okada, Fashola’s Committee Endorses Plan by Ayoolu12: 3:42pm On Dec 30, 2011
I also think it's a brave attempt by the state govt to cut down on all the excessive migration to the state. Those who are made unemployed by this ban, should either find some legal means of employment, or relocate back to where they came from. The govt also needs to step up its policing and security efforts, as some of thise made umemployed will try to constitute themselves into a nuisance.
PoliticsRe: Lagos To Ban Okada, Fashola’s Committee Endorses Plan by Ayoolu12: 3:39pm On Dec 30, 2011
I am in total support of this. Ban it from the city, and leave it in place in rural areas.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Calls For Increased Vigilance by Ayoolu12: 3:42pm On Dec 29, 2011
This here is what you call a leader. Not that lobotomized ape in aso rock angry. (pardon my language, i'm still furious at him).
PoliticsRe: To My Boko Haram And Northern Brothers, Let Us Learn From The Yoruba. by Ayoolu12: 11:22pm On Dec 27, 2011
@onlytruth. Whatever helps you sleep at night mate, like i said , some people have historical amnesia.
PoliticsRe: To My Boko Haram And Northern Brothers, Let Us Learn From The Yoruba. by Ayoolu12: 10:55pm On Dec 27, 2011
As for those of you calling Yorubas 'cowards', has it occured to you that you were roundly and soundly defeated by 'cowards'? Or you think the whole of Nigeria is suffering from historical amnesia like you are?.
It is truly tragic that you make the most noise, but in terms of action, you fail woefully. Yoruba's with their 'lazy, cowardly' attitude, have till date the best Nigeria has to offer, from education, to creating states all of you run to.
Learn to give respect where its due. Your envy has gained you nothing.
CultureRe: Watch White Choir Sing Yoruba Carol. by Ayoolu12: 9:57am On Dec 27, 2011
Envy is a terrible thing. Turns grown men into irrational creatures.
CultureRe: Watch White Choir Sing Yoruba Carol. by Ayoolu12: 10:21pm On Dec 26, 2011
Why call them 'down-trodden'? Some people are way more racist/tribalist than those they accuse of racism/tribalism. Funny enough, i don't think you guys would be calling them names if they were singing in your language lipsrsealed.
CultureRe: Watch White Choir Sing Yoruba Carol. by Ayoolu12: 10:03pm On Dec 26, 2011
Hahaha! I've got to hand it to them, they did pretty well. Yoruba is truly a beautiful language, listening to Asa singing is just amazing.

I see, this is obviously one of the psychotic ones. NEXT!!!
PoliticsRe: Christmas Day: Boko Haram Bomb Catholic Church In Madalla by Ayoolu12: 10:55am On Dec 25, 2011
@Okparaigo and co, stop making it seem like all igbo people are psychotic. Your obsession with yorubas and the way they dealt with you all these many years ago really needs to stop.
PoliticsRe: Christmas Day: Boko Haram Bomb Catholic Church In Madalla by Ayoolu12: 10:21am On Dec 25, 2011
In some peoples minds, all roads lead back to Ojukwu.
PoliticsRe: Christmas Day: Boko Haram Bomb Catholic Church In Madalla by Ayoolu12: 9:59am On Dec 25, 2011
Its time Nigeria broke up. Seriously, what makes these people think they hold the monopoly over violence? We need to make life miserable for their brethren in the SW,SS and SE. Maybe they will tell their brothers up north to behave.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Fellow Nairalanders:is Police Truely Our Friend? by Ayoolu12: 7:35pm On Dec 24, 2011
It depends on their definition of the word friend.
If a freind is one who steals from you, molests you, deprives u of your human rights, threatens you, intimidates you, extorts from you, then yes, the police are our friends.
PoliticsRe: Ugly Signs Of Yoruba Marginalisation by Ayoolu12: 7:19pm On Dec 24, 2011
These people and their unhealthy obsession with Yorubas,
Yorubas are marginalised, and yet we are to get the largest refinery,
We are marginalised, and our states have the best universities,
We are marginalised, and some people are absconding their villages to move to our cities,
Me thinks 'marginalisation' ain't so bad,
I think some tribes should start praying for 'marginalisation', maybe then they will get the bridge they've been crying for for years!
