Those who understand certain things about how the dark world and marine powers operate against marriages will know why some churches ban the use of jewellery, rings and things like aso ebi. If you join in putting on same clothes to a wedding or any function, and the people who brought up the idea to put on a uniform are into witchcraft......then you automatically get initiated if you join on putting it on. These are deep spiritualspiritual matters. But how many Christians are sound enough to discern which is inspired by the dark kingdoms and which is not. .......so as a spiritual leader.....the best thing he did was to ban it. Mind you, aso ebi is traditional. Though not evil, it could be used to perpetrate evil. I'm not a member of redeem Sha! |
somehow:Perfect! We know in part |
somehow:I'm sure Jesus never said you should love witchcraft. ....and yes demons die. Though not the physical death the way you understand it. Mind you prosperity is not just about good health and having money. It's firstly about prosperity of the soul. Having that connection with God and having the power to dominate over evil. As for the people you say are prospering without shouting die die, Satan don't bother Christians that are neither hot nor cold. He doesn't bother Christians that are like the laodecian christians mentioned in the book of revelations. Those people don't disturb his kingdom. The day they decide to become hot Christians and be serious with their journey to heaven.....that day they will discover that it takes the die die prayers not only to keep their wealth, but to stay a life and healthy. And we wrestle not against flesh and blood.........but sometimes flesh and blood must die. People like herod, pharaoh must die because they will never repent. Anyway you can keep praying for your unrepentant pharaohs. I'll keep killing them in my own case. Wicked enemies need wicked prayers psalm 35 and 109. Any power, personality, man, woman, establishment that has vowed or made a covenant to destroy my life or tamper with my destiny......THEY WILL DIE A GREVIOUS AND VIOLENT DEATH. |
somehow:she/he didn't turn the bible upside down. John20:23 are the very words of Jesus. If you allow evil (demons/powers/witches/ wizards evilen and women) to kill you, you die and go to hell for not exercising the power God gave to you and not fulfilling your destiny. Meanwhile if the evil person repents, they go to heaven. Christians claiming to be too defended, let me ask you, why are you still sick? Why are you still poor, why are wicked people still prospering and ruling US? Why are christians dying? It's because we have not started to follow the principles of spiritual warfare. There is a time to love and a time to refrain. The enemies that we should love are not enemies who will attack you spiritually, tie down your star till you're 60years old, and finish you off in an accident. Those enemies know what they are doing. It is we Christians that are ignoramus. The enemies we should love and pray for are those that don't know what they are doing....I.e steals your money, slaps you, those that do things that are more physical in contesting with you. But once they go spiritual, you've got to fight back, and be on the offensive. For me, I refuse to give my enemy a free day. |
EmanA1928:@ EmanA1928 do you live in lagos? I was wondering if you could visit the embassy and help us find out some more info from andrea on applicants with foreign degrees. That was the advice given by one of their staff Though I'll try to put a call through to them tomorrow. |
Faithdamsel:Yes, but the problem is that you have to be physically present in london to do certified copies of the original certificate and transcript via a solicitor or notary public. Then translate the document. hard copies of the certified copies are then sent to the legalisation office of the foreign and commonwealth office for legalisation. After that, you send the legalised docs to the Italian embassy in London to get your DOV. Or @faithdamsel do you know how it can be done in London in absentia |
Update: for the guys who need to certify/ legalise their foreign degree. I spoke to one of the guys who works with the Italian embassy......he said it's best to go to their office in Lagos to clarify how they want such docs legalised. |
smithsydny:For me, it's an advanced master (kind of equivalent to a PhD). Cos the university asked me to get a DOV of my masters degree to show that it qualifies me to enroll for a PhD programme. |
smithsydny:: I confirmed that ![]() The guy that works at the embassy told me it could take between 3-5 months. I asked if a fast track is possible.....he said yes.....that it could take about a month......but it's not guaranteed and you go cough out some change Mehn! |
EmanA1928:Yes. I think you could PM @smithsydny. He'll give you a contact you can call. I was told that as long as tou have the original certificate and transcript, it can be done in abuja. Though I'm still trying to do ma findings. I'll keep you updated |
smithsydny:Lol. I dey bobo myself. Do I have to submit the original documents/certificates when submitting for legalisation? , or just the certified and translated copies? Can't leave the originals for them to keep it for the 6-7weeks needed for legalisation. |
@ all. Another question please. At the point of submitting doc's to the embassy for legalisation, do I get to keep my originals? If I have to submit my originals as well, then I'd rather back out of the whole process. I'll be submitting the docs for legalisation in the last week in may. Considering the amount of time legalisation takes, It might disrupt some of my other plans in which I will need my originals latest first work day of july I also learnt the visa fee is free for students. |

Update: @smithsydny so I called the contact you gave me. he agreed 20k for certifying 6 docs at the MOE and MFA. Though I'll send the documents to him via these Abuja transporters. I guess that price is ok. I even just remembered I didn't count my transcripts, that makes it 8 docs (but 9 pages). Primary school certificate (affidavit actually, cos my primary school misplaced it), ssce, bsc certificate, msc certificate, b.sc transcript (2 pages), msc transcript. Thanks guys, this thread has actually been more useful than the italian website or contact phone lines |
smithsydny:thanks |
Dbubu:Yh thanks I saw the details on page 1 earlier |
smithsydny:Thank you. One more thing. Since it takes up to 7days for translation. I was wondering if I could contact the V.I translation woman to kick start translating (I'll probably transfer the fee to her and send soft copies of the documents), while I go to Abuja for certification. I live in the east, so going twice to Lagos (i.e. to submit for translation after certification, and then to pick up translated documents b4 proceeding for legalisation) might not be too economical. What do you think? |
smithsydny:I yaf pmed you oh. I will be wiating for your response. Though should be going for a vigil in 30 mins. Thanks. |
smithsydny:Yes I know. What I'm saying is that I need a DOV for the London degree. But how do I start the certification. MOE and MFA certify only Naija degree right? Do u have an idea of how to do such in Nigeria here Between, I made some modifications to the text I posted earlier |
Hi everyone. So I have taken time to go thru this thread and know the processes from certification to translation to legalisation (DOV) to preenrollment (when the admission letter is ready).....and then the visa application. My case is a little different. I obtained admission for an advanced master's program (which is almost equivalent to a PhD). The academic requirement for entry to this course is to have a master's degree...... So the uni asked me to get a DOV for only my master's degree (which I obtained in london). I was wondering how I should go about the certification of the london degree here in nigeria before going through the other processes. The only option I know of for now is to get the DOV for this certificate from the italian consula office in london, which requires certifications to be first done by a notary public in London. I'm in naija now, so that is not even an option. The advanced master program starts in January 2018 though. Also, if I eventually pull through this, when applying for a visa, i guess i will need to legalize (possibly get a DOV?) for only the non-academic documents (e.g birth certificate) in addition to the DOV for the London degree. Since the uni says the DOV for the London degree is all they require for student registration, I'm thinking I would not need a DOV for my other academic certificates. ......except the Italian embassy still requires them for a study visa. Sorry for the long epistle, but answers will be much appreciated. Note: Certain parts of the text was just modified |
GenBuhari:Thank you, but I don't need your comments on what I should do or not. |
Yerima ? Of all pple?Wao!.....looks like it's going to be a long 4yrs |
PPAngel:Thumbs up for the Heads up! ....and I hope @Genbuhari above will not crucify me for again for this |
GenBuhari:Thank you, but d msg was not meant for you. Some of us don't have dirty minds.....and I think the history of my posts since I joined NL in 2013 shld say it all. Yesterday I had to un-follow some people (like d poster above me) whose ideologies don't blend with mine, and started scouting for pple with like minds. If you disagree with her anti-buharist comments, then I think u shld take it out on her Again, d msg was not for you. |
What! My former place of work? Pls get ur facts right oh! Skye is built on integrity, dis I know |
PPAngel:@ OP, I just followed you on nairaland......I'm quite impressed at d way u analyse these issues.......I might go into politics anytime soon and would love to be surrounded by people with minds as yours. I would have dropped my email addy/ BB PIN, I think sending you an email request on nairaland will be better. PLS I'VE GOT NO HIDDEN AGENDA.....tnx |
@OP, Take this up with them, go to channels Tv and if possible go to d hospital u got first aid from and request for the bullets that where removed, also get contacts of the other three wounded pple. That's good evidence |
This has got to stop, I can't figure out what should be done to make so much noise about such wickedness, but I'm so sure this should not be just swept under d carpet. |
Why do I think this APC claim doesn't add up? except the governors who are defecting are not running for second term. If they are, then this is false, if they are not for second term, it doesn't change anything.....at least not for this election |
....the joy of being a parent. |
